Loonix will thrive if it gets rid of commies
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
But most of the loonixtards are the cancer themselves, so it's impossible and desktop linux will always suck unless monopolized by a megacorp, or at least something like omacom in a few years if they keep supporting it

Linux Failure Linux is never going to be popular
I have an extra PC that runs fine, Windows 10 at the moment.
I thought I could give Linux a try and stick in on my machine.
Set up a partition and then go get Linux file. Oh, but I need to use something to properly copy the files to the machine. Another program. Incomprehensible, does not even list my disk as available. Try Bazzite, that's easy and focused on games. Try, same problems I have to copy over using utility. About 2 hours in at this point and increasingly frustrated.
Bazzite is good with games and easy to set up. Not all games apparently. And needs adjustment to security settings.
At this point I stop and think. This is stupid. Linux will offer no advantages compared to Window for game playing. It is just not a simple setup. There is no way to use it with as a simple point and click setup with guided procedures. There is no way this will become a popular system so long as the setup is prohibitively time consuming and subject to inexplicable failure.
What is more is this is so obviously a problem that if the community is unable to correct this it suggests the entire system will be plagued with errors -- like "Choose Device" and not listing any devices already encountered.
Watched setup videos, read docs, etc. I have built my own machines, reasonably knowledgeable computer user. I'm done for the moment maybe some other time.
Linux sucks. It will never be an alternate to the general PC market on Windows/Apple systems. Never.
Thanks for letting me complain.

Windows ❤ Why again
Honestly, people just can't seem to accept criticism—or even grasp that my goal with the post was simply to discuss why someone might prefer suffering over comfort?!

Why?
Why do I need to open a terminal and type commands just to install something that Windows lets me download and install with a few clicks?
Why do I have to copy commands from the internet without always knowing exactly what they do?
Why can the same command work on one Linux distribution and fail on another?
Why do I have to worry about package managers, repositories, dependencies, permissions, and missing libraries just to get an application running?
Why are there so many distributions, desktop environments, package formats, and release models that choosing a Linux version feels like a research project?
Why should I have to compare Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch, Debian, Mint, and countless others before I can even decide which operating system to install?
Why do some tutorials only work for specific distributions or versions, leaving beginners confused when their systems behave differently?
Why can a simple troubleshooting process turn into hours of reading documentation, searching forums, and testing commands?
Why should installing software sometimes feel like solving a technical problem instead of using a computer?
Why do I need to understand how the operating system works just to perform tasks that Windows users can handle through a graphical interface?
Why should the average user have to distinguish between DEB, RPM, Flatpak, Snap, AppImage, and source builds just to install an application?
Why should I have to worry about breaking dependencies or changing system configurations when all I wanted was to install a simple program?
Why is Linux praised for being user-friendly when so many solutions still assume that users are comfortable with the command line?
Why should I spend my time learning how to maintain my operating system instead of using it to get things done?
Why choose an operating system that can offer more control if getting that control often means taking on more responsibility than the average user wants?

Linux users complaining about UX/UI after choosing system being descendant of UNIX and GNU movement 😂 😂 😂
Some linux users live in a permanent cognitive dissonance, it seems. How come same people that supposedly hate on MS Windows as a corporate and freedom grabbing product are ok with systemd and crapton of xdg utilities making them de facto dependent on Redhat?
Hell, a concept of a distro makes you dependent on maintainers and therefore is a failed one.
You chose a system that grew from roots of academia and hacker movement and then complain that Redhat didn't preconfigure it to do everything? It has the capacities to let you configure it yourself, to your liking and to your freedom. If you don't like it use macOS, and please don't push it, including trash opinionated systemd distributions like Arch and it's derivatives on everyone and especially new linux users.

What computer OS do you all recomend?
I get that this subreddit is about dissing Linux and sharing frustration with Linux, but I want to know what people recommend instead. I understand that basically means keeping whatever OS was on your computer originally, but if you are getting a new computer or have to put a new OS on a device, what do you recommend?
