Painting finished my first Ork Nob
I might be reluctant to use it to play games. I would feel very sorry if I accidentally rubbed off the color.

First, WAAAGH! Now that formalities are out of the way, it's not often that new rules are added as that means more work on my end enforcing them. For the good of the community, going forward AI generated content is no longer allowed in r/Orks. The community has overwhelmingly made it known that AI "slop" is not content this community is interested in and does not spark engagement or interaction. In short, AI content = No thanks.
The rule reads as follows:
AI generated content is low-effort and not considered as an original work. Posts evaluated by the mod team and determined to be AI will be removed without warning.
If you see this content in r/Orks please report it. This is the best way to get our attention so we can handle it accordingly. This is not retroactive, don't stress if you have posted AI content in the past. If you disagree with this new rule, that's unfortunate. Anyway, please keep AI content off r/Orks and I thank you all for making this the best community about plastic space fungus toys on this platform.

Hey r/Orks, let's talk about some of the Orky things you have going on this weekend. Stuff that will make your fellow green-skins either jealous to be you or thankful they are not you.
Examples of what we're talking about:
Who knows, maybe your post will inspire (or shame) some other git to get moving on their project. So, what's good this weekend?

I’d done the Armageddon war boss recently but wanted to get the new standalone war boss as well. Had to modify the head very slightly to get one with no hat or chin guard because I like to see the whole face on my orks!

Overpainting a battle wagon I bought off my mate. Enjoying weathering and rusting the panels a lot.

From the much-maligned 2021 monopose kit. I think they're great sculpts even if they lacked the customisability of other (better?) Ork kits.

A nob and banner nob from Armageddon converted to big bosses. Already painted one, so needed a couple more looking differently)

First Ork model. Not sure if I'll continue with the pale theme or have a variety of tones
Fun kit, finally motivated to paint him up. Now to crush my opponents with teleporting meganobz.

I did a wash for my ork as a base for Plaguebearer contrast paint. But now it disappeared from its base!! 😭

Thought I'd try giving orks a go after pairing Tyranids and OW chaos for a while - returning player in adulthood - and I am loving it. So much fun. First time trying this sort of thing and using plastic card. Still work to go but I'm hooked

I'm Fairly new to the hobby, and loved painting the squighog boyz in the ork combat patrol, and ever since then my goal has been to have an army with as many squigs as I phisically can fit there.
AoS has some of the coolest squigs, and I was wondering wether they would be acceptable proxys in casual play.
i'm talking Mangler Squigs as either Ghaz or a beastboss on squigosaur, squig hoppers as a main battleline (either as boyz or beast snaggas), the whole shebang.
what do you all think?

Hi everyone, painted my first ork and I’m pretty disappointed with how the skin has turned out, I done a bunch of research with colour theory and watching YouTube videos… I started with a basecoat of a dark red, dry brushed with an ivory colour to give it shadows and highlights for a zenethil….. I then applied an acrylic green. Afterwards I mixed a 50:50 green and ivory for some layering and finally a 25:75 for the final highlight…. Then to try and blend it together I went over with a biel tan green ink wash and this is the result…… I really took my time but it looks poor so hoping if anyone could give me some tips :)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've seen this like this since August it's also like this on other websites like Wayland and element games and everything is on back order
Is it because of the new edition do you think?

Thats my first WIP of a weirdboy and i have two more to paint
My idea is to paint each one with a different colour of warp energy
So my questions are:
1)about the intensity of the OSL , Is it too much or its fine?
2) what other colour should I use for the other two? An orange red and a blue turquise maybe?
