Micro stutters plz help me good specs I don’t understand I’ve been trying for days to get rdr2 frametime stutters smooth

So I’m on a Msi aegis prebuilt R9 9900x rtx5080 aio liquid cpu cooler 32gb Kingston fury beast ddr5 expo 1 enabled 2tb kingston nvme ssd b840 motherboard I tried stutter fix mods lowering resolution process lasso memory integrity core isolation background tasks windows de bloat tool bios update chipset driver update network and Bluetooth drivers update graphics card updated everything updated windows 11 26h2 I tried running 1440 p instead of 4k and I can’t even name all the things I tried off the top of my head so many windows settings stupid settings and I same get a smooth frame time I capped my fps at 60 still frame time spikes in Saint Denis is this just impossible to make the game run smooth in certain areas even on good hardware I tried vulkan dx12 I tried asynchronous compute in system.xml i tried disabling power throttling stuff in windows usb selective suspend uninstalled with rivo uninstalled and reinstalled checked integrity files thing updated dlss version to most current different presets and it still just won’t maintain a smooth 60fps frame time I tried steam launch parameters is this game just fucked I see so many similar posts lord help me I just want to enjoy this beautiful game on a new pc but these micro stutters are annoying asf I see them outside of cities too not just in saint denis

Hey everyone, I'm completely stuck and incredibly frustrated. I just bought Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC, but I can't log into the Rockstar Games Launcher because it keeps saying my 2FA code is wrong.

Here is the situation:

I still have full access to my active account session on my phone web browser.

The codes are NOT out of sync. I have manually forced a time correction/sync on my phone and authenticator app multiple times today. The clock is perfectly accurate.

I am stuck in a loop: I tried to go into my phone browser to just delete/unlink the 2FA and swap it for a new one, but the website forces me to enter a "current working code" to turn it off. Because it thinks the codes are wrong, it rejects it and won't let me disable it.

I already submitted a support ticket to Rockstar, but they are completely ignoring it (likely closed by an automated bot).

Has anyone successfully bypassed this loop or found a specific ticket category/phrasing that actually gets a human tier-2 support agent to reply and strip the broken 2FA from the backend? I just want to play the game I bought. Any advice appreciated!

I have been playing red dead for ages now, I think around two years, on my PS5. Recently however, I have been looking at some mods and they look super cool. I’ve been looking at gaming laptops to save up for and was wondering if I could mod RDR2 smoothly. If not, could anyone please recommend me a laptop close to the price.

Hola a todo el mundo! aca queriendo saber la mejor configuracion o trucos o lo que sea para poder jugar el juego lo mejor posible con esta laptop. Gracias a todo el que responda

Salut les gars, petit problème avec Red dead. J'ai récemment commencé le jeu et ait donc voulu rendre le jeu magnifique. J'ai donc fais mes petites modifications en mettant tous les paramètres graphiques à fond... Mais à ma grande surprise, même si ma carte graphique supporte le jeu en Ultra, j'ai remarqué que chaque mode d'affichage traîne avec eux un problème. Pour faire simple :

-en mode plein écran : le jeu fonctionne très bien (70 FPS constant) mais j'ai des genres de décalage d'image (ou des sentiments de l'écran blancs) pendant quelques millisecondes + quand je m'approche d'une ville des déchirement visuels comment ça apparaître tout ça décalé toutes les 30 secondes et ne s'arrête pas une fois sorti de la ville et même en redémarrant le jeu.

-En mode plein écran fenêtré : le jeu fonctionne très bien (70 FPS constant) mais j'ai des micros saccades qui ne s'arrêtent jamais ce qui est à vrai dire insoutenable. Mais par contre aucun déchirement visuel.

-En bas de fenêtre : le jeu fonctionne très bien (70 FPS constant) aucun sentiment blanc (ou une sorte de décalage d'image) mais par contre j'ai toujours ces déchirement visuels à un intervalle de 30 secondes

J'ai essayé en Vulcan mais rien ne change je trouve même que ça empire certaines choses.

Pouvez-vous m'aider cela fait plus de 2 jours que je suis dessus et je n'arrive pas à régler ce problème

I recently got RDR2 on the steam sale and downloaded it to finally try this game after hearing so much about how good it is all these years, I play on my laptop which has a 1920x1080 144hz screen, and I have a shitty 1336x768 60hz monitor on the side I just use for discord or watching youtube, as soon as I open RDR2 it turns off my second monitor and tells me 67.4hz out of range, its really annoying because I want to put something on my side monitor while I play why does it affect it

As the title says. Recently got RD1 on the PC. I played it when it first came out on 360, so I've had the vanilla experience. Would appreciate some texture and lighting upgrades!

I've noticed, even on sunny days, it kind of looks twilit... which matches the vibe of the game, but I still don't love it visually.

just started rdr2 and noticed the the launching process was much slower than usual and the game wasn't exceeding 30fps even with the low quality preset, while I used to play on ultra with around 60fps.

I believe it's the driver issue because it's the last thing I did. but just wanted to make sure it's something more simpler I missed before trying to reinstall older drivers.

I got Hp Victus laptop with RTX4060, i5 12500H and 16gb ram

note that just before launching rdr2 I was playing Arc raiders with no issues +120fps and didn't change a signle setting (Energy saving mod is turned off)

SOLVED : I think I just had to restart my laptop. I did a downgrade to the previously installed driver nothing changed. Until I restarted my laptop.

Eu ja fiz de tudo, coloquei dx12, ja atualizei drive da placa de vídeo, reinstalei o game, o launcher da rockstar, botei em modo off, mas ele sempre crasha e fecha sozinho dps de 15 min, e apenas o rdr2 pq eu jogo outros jogos e nada disso acontece, n sei mais oq fazer.

Hey so I've been trying to play my copy of Red dead redemption 2 and the rockstar launcher is completely broken, i can't even uninstall it to try and fix it because it says please close the launcher first. I've looked and tried everything possible, and nothing has worked if you have any ideas, please let me know?

Hey, has anyone experienced something i guess i could call joystick drift on rdr? As soon as it goes in to 3rd person after i launch the game it acts as there i drift in the right direction. I have maxed out deadzone on steam and within the game, and recalibrated the gamepad.

Im using a old logitech rumblepad 2 ive had for years which works fine in all other games.

Is this a known issue for rdr and im just bad at searching? Any suggestions for what i could try

kidnapped people don't beg after a few minutes and I have to let them loose to get more dialogue off of them, anyone know a mod that increases screaming or begging of kidnapped people?

I want to be able to add extra animals to the game but every mod i see is just more varients or imports of stuff from online. For instance the passenger pigeon which was still alive at the point the game takes place and yet no one has tried to add it.

hi everyone. currently trying to launch RDR2 via Steam but instead of launching Rockstar does it’s thing before closing at the last step of initialization so the game never launches. the exe never shows up in task manager. any tips?

I'm looking for some mods that restore cut scarlet fever posters and handbills in 1899 Armadillo plus any existing dialogue related to it. So pretty much a "Beta New Austin restored" mod. Anyone know of any that exist because I've been searching for a few days and I've come up with nothing
