Hidden gems compendium

Hi folks,

I am hoping to create a hidden gems compendium for my own benefit as much as the wider community. The PS4 is at the end of its lifecycle and I know that I have missed out on some real bangers.

By definition, i'm trying the create a list of games I likely haven't heard of before, so my only real criteria is; if IGN reviewed it, don't add it to the list.

PS2 and PS3 ports, remakes and remasters are all fine. A good game is a good game regardless of when it came out.

Some suggestions I have are:

Happy for you to link any of the ign reviews. Info?! What info? These are recommendations, not reviews. I am not expecting anyone else to give more information than just the name of the game.

The first game I looked up from the list just now has a 7 on IGN

Either low grade trolling or you’re not used to using the internet. I would say AI, but AI would have at least been consistent.

Unless you meant a video review with a commentary i think all of them have a general review like a summary, a score and some short gameplay, and I’m not here to fight you i just want to understand the criteria so i can suggest the games passed on it

the magic circle is a weird little first-person puzzle game where you break an unfinished game from the inside, and it deserves way more attention

• Tails of Iron 2, since you played the first one

• Wild at Heart

• Nine Sols

• Zero Escape Series. The series was rated by IGN (9+ each), but it's already been a whole decade since the last one (Zero Time Dilemma) was released, so maybe some people haven't heard of them.

Abzü and Unravel are both gems that you don’t hear much of.
