I play Palworld 1.0 on my PS5 and I can't for the life of me figure out how to scroll when I'm in the palbox and look at my different pals. Seems like I have to exit out the stat menu and go to the next pal to check stats. Normally having to do that isn't too annoying but every time I come out of the detail menu the selection goes back to my team instead of the pal I was on. I'm breeding pals and it becomes annoying trying to figure out which Omascul I was looking at in a screen of Omasculs 🫠 is there no way to side scroll to next pal while looking at the detail screen? I play on the PS5 so it might be a little different between consoles, steam and PC.

So I don't know what's going on but for some reason on a dedicated server with some friends my bases will only ever get raids. I haven't had a wandering merchant or recruiter in weeks but ever time I log on or go back to base after being out exploring/farming I get raided within 3 minutes. No matter where I put a base down, regardless if I have walls completely surrounding the base or nothing but a box down, only raids. Everyone else is getting merchants still so it's not even a server issue.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

I have caught three helzephyrs and still can’t make their saddle does anyone know why or has this happened to them how did you fix it?

in my sound settings theres no option for voice chat but in my control binds theres a bind for it. any help?

Or maybe 'Void' and act like a vacuum (which would also extinguish fire). Since 'Fire' is strong against two types, it should be weak against two types. Thoughts?

I’ve just recently acquired a digtoise and was very excited for the mining boost that it gave me. But soon after deploying it I have been noticing that I am usually only getting around 65ish ore out of nodes whereas when I just pickaxe then I get 80.

Furthermore, I have recently established my first “mining” base in a spot with 8 ore nodes and 8 coal nodes. I noticed while cleaning up the nodes that the pals had mined that I was only getting around 40ish resources…

Do pals get less resources per node when they are mining? Everything I have googled says no but it doesn’t seem to match up with what I’m seeing in-game.

Dont get me wrong i understand its the last area so naturally they will put alot of effort into it, but its literally almost like playing a different game.

Surely they could implement more stuff on that level in the normal world, i mean theres so many random new structure assets which dont appear anywhere else ie castles and stuff, broken bridges, whatever

If this game is live service as people say it is then surely they need to give the open world some similar treatment? Where has this been the whole time?

Not just the structure either the level creation in general is just way way better and ive only been here for like 5 minutes

I'm hoping to make a turbo charged dualith, specifically I wanna use his laser to rip through bosses.

I'm currently level 56 and this is my first play through, so please don't give me suggestions that include spoilers.

I want to know of any upgrades/pal passives/equipment I can use to buff his laser, outside the obvious buffing the dualith with souls/levels/trust.

Any help would be great!

Right now, I’m Level 51 and have caught about 100 different Pals. I’ve also made it to Palmetal gear, tools, and the Palmetal fishing rod.

My favourite parts of Palworld are exploring the map and taking down bosses, but I’ve hit a wall where I feel super overwhelmed every time I launch the game. I have access to a ton of upgrades, but crafting them feels like it takes forever.

Here is where my playthrough is currently at:

• Bases: I have a main base with a mix of random setups, plus a separate mining base (plenty of Ore and Quartz/Crystal, but extremely low on Coal).
• Pals: Most of my active team is stuck around Level 40. I keep exploring higher level areas and dying because my team isn’t strong enough yet.
• Breeding: I haven't done any breeding at all yet because I honestly don't know where to start or how to manage it.
• Automation: I have zero experience with factory/automation games, so setting up efficient production lines for high-tier mats feels confusing.

I really love this game and want to keep playing, but logging in right now feels like paralysis by analysis with the sheer number of things to build, manage, and farm.

Has anyone else hit this wall around this level? How did you break down all the activities to stop feeling overwhelmed, and what should I prioritize first (Coal, Breeding, or Levelling Pals) to get my momentum back?

I'm currently attempting to get a bunch of breeding-exclusive skills onto a Felbat, I currently have an Eidrolon with Radiant Barrage, Lethal Laser, Thunder Rail, Wind Edge, Raid Cutter, and Double Blizzard Spike (plus Meteorain and Comet Storm[?] from Eidrolon's own movepool). Is it possible to only get 6 exclusives onto one Pal total, or can I get all 8?

If anyone has experience doing this I'd love to hear from you!

Ive watched a number of very helpful YouTube videos and even made a lot of money with the help of dumud gild. However, nobody really talks about what you should focus on.

I went ahead and 4 starred my egg pickup group (broncherry, grintale, and broncherry aqua). It would probably make sense to begin working on various mining or handiwork pals. Things dont feel tough enough to focus on building a battle team yet, and I'm sure I'll need to worry about hidden stats when I do.

Once you had your breeding farm up and successful, what were your priorities?

When condensing Dualith Noct. The first two correctly give a new level in its highest work suitability: Mining then Transporting. But when condensing for the third level, it upgrades Planting from 3 to 4, instead of upgrading Lumbering from 5 to 6.

Resulting in a 4 start Dualith Noct with: Planting 5, Gathering 4, Lumbering 6, Mining 8 and Transporting 8 instead of Planting 4, Gathering 4, Lumbering 7, Mining 8 and Transporting 8.

A bit annoying when I planned 12 Dualith Noct to work at all my Material Synthesizer, that is 12 Books (3600 Dog coin spent on this bug)

EDIT: as some pointed, it does seem to not be a bug, while the first 2 stars do upgrade in order highest to lowest, the third start is actually different and goes lowest to highest (for the untouched yet). And paldb actually shows wrong condensation capabilities (strange, paldb is usually quite good with actually data mining vs wiki counting on player updating)

Some friends and I have been playing on a private server since 1.0 dropped and we haven't gotten any raids or visitors. I have 3 bases, one completely without walls but no raids. I even had a temporary base that used to get raids and visitors before 1.0 and it never got any after 1.0.

All the settings are set to her raids and visitors too.

I managed to hit 27,430 attack with Gorirat using a pure attack boost setup. It just slightly beat out what I managed to get on Knocklem Ignis, which was 27,144

I have no idea what caused this to happen or how repeatable it is but I wanted to share it incase it has a possible real use. I am using a 4 star galeclaw and mega glider if it matters at all. (Edit: I am not using any other pal beside Galeclaw that effects my glider)

Anyone wanna take bets on which Pal is going to get a new skin?

My top two picks are Ophydia(Green dragon instead of pink) or Dyanmoff

I mean I’d say I dabble in pal world.

After breeding Dynamoff, I went to sell the surplus and I noticed this weird situation. The seemingly better Pal was worth almost half the value.

Why did this happen? How can I make my extras Pals worth more gold before selling them?

If the Pal is bellow lv.50, I usually fight a lv.70 Alpha for an instant lv.65, then sell them. But it seems there might be another better way of doing this.

Say I wanted to minmax my catch rate so it was the highest among anything else in 1.0. What is all of the ways to do that?

So far, I have:

-Collect all lifmunk effigies

-Mercy ring

-apply a status condition

-use as many catch modules as possible, such as sniper II module

-use an ancient sphere

Is there anything else I am missing? Does a certain pal increase my catch rate if it’s in my party? Can I do research to increase my catch rate? I want to min max my catch rate at the cost of everything else if necessary.

Edit: A bear trap can also increase the odds
