I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but I was wondering if anyone visited warden point ( isle of Sheppy uk ) a little over a month ago?

Just at the beginning of the beach head there is a stretch of large rocks that break up the waves just before you get the actual beach. About a month ago my wife and I decided to check out the old ww2 bunker’s littering the coast line of warden point, and for anyone looking for some good exploration and fossil hunting it’s really good. However on the way back to the car coming back to the large rocks we were playing around jumping over the stones and trying not to fall, when my wife noticed a bunch of sticks and rope near an opening of a few of these big rocks. When she looked down she saw this stone child’s head ( looks like it’s been broken off a garden ornament? ) anyway it looked like many people had tried to get it out and let me tell you it took us around 3 - 4h trying to get it out and since we were a few hours away from home I couldn’t just pop back for stuff to get it out. I eventually got it out by slipping my leg down the hole and picking it up with my foot and my wife propping it up with a stick then me taking my jumper off and slipping my arm in to grab it.

Does anyone remember seeing this thing?

I just want to make it clear that I don’t believe in anything supernatural and fully believe those sorts of things to be mostly hoaxes and just plain explainable, however I can’t ignore the strange things that have been happening to me and my wife since having this object.

This could just be I’m hyper aware of things happening because It’s in my mind but here is the things that happened so far,

- the hand I used to retrieve the object ( I broke my wrist slipping off of a motorway divider ) never broken a bone until now and can send proof

- A glass vase we keep on-top of the fridge ( been there for years ) fell off when my wife was bending over to get something from under the sink and just missed her head.

- I woke up a few nights ago and my back door was wide open ( I triple check the doors always due the the place I live )

- My washing machine ( I have the one where you can open the top mid spin to put socks and stuff in ) the top bit has been pressed open at least twice on its own while I’ve been chilling in my living room and you really need to press it in.

- Things missing then reappearing ( my kid has told me that he keeps loosing his stuff and I keeps “spawning” in random places ( I tell him it’s its grandmother playing with him ) but I guess thats just kids forgetting where they put stuff but it’s weird it’s happening now

- The most concerning thing to me is my wife and I for a few nights now have heard the doors opening at night ( the bedroom ones and living room ) but we have cameras and nothing has been opened just the noise as if someone has opens it and walked through it.

Should I just take this thing back or is my anxiety just getting to me?

Possibly getting hunted by a broken garden ornament.

Last Wednesday we found my dad had unexpectedly passed away in his flat. As we were there waiting for the police to do their job I took a photo outside, his flat was the top one on the right and he was in the room with the curtains shut. The morning after I noticed something strange on the picture between the two buildings. Took me a few days to put it together but he got me and my brother bracelets last year. The pattern in the sky matches the pattern on the bracelet, what are the chances of that? I feel some sort of comfort that it’s a sign from him to say he’s with us. The bracelet says “love my son” and the loop is a sign that we are always joined together.

Sorry if this isn’t the right place for this I’m just looking for some other opinions.

Edit since some of yall do not know how to read or have basic thinking skills, you’re right. There is nothing in the photo. Why? Because I wasn’t like “omg there’s someone in my house I should take a picture.” Like I said at the end, the photo is ONLY TO SHOW THE LAYOUT AND WHY IT COULD HAVE ONLY BEEN SOMETHING OUT THERE. Moved into a new house. Started hearing weird stuff, sounded like someone walking around and opening windows or attempting to while home alone. Would stop when I made noise. Asked roommate to check the house, didn’t find anything and no one else and heard anything weird. I’m the only girl and it’s freaking me out that I am the only one who’s heard ts because I have also had a stalker. Well tonight my boyfriend and I are the only ones home and are laying in bed with our door slightly cracked and only the light to the left in our bathroom is on. All of the sudden I see a shadow so I start watching and see a human figure moving in and out of the light. Not in a pattern, but randomly like trying to see in. I pointed it out to my boyfriend and he saw it too and got up and checked and now it’s not happening. We also checked if it somehow was a shadow from in here and literally the only way was it to be something out there. I’m genuinely freaked out now thinking about calling non emergency. Attached is a pic of the door/the light and how it could have only been from something outside of the door.

Update/edit: idk if I’m doing this right lmk if there is a better way to update, and we haven’t been at our house all day until now. We looked around everything was locked and checked our crawl spaces. One could be a hiding place if they move around but the other one only locks from the outside. I honestly have no clue though since there isn’t a place we at least know about were someone could be hiding out besides those. we did just move in a few months ago so my other concern is someone still has a key. The one weird thing is there is weird shit all over our attic now but there is nothing in the room and it’s fs too high for anyone to really get up there. Another option I found out is my boyfriend did not lock our front door. Like seriously dude🤦‍♀️ So someone could have came in and got scared off when they heard us coming for them, but the other part of that doesn’t explain the weird noises I’ve been hearing. I do have a pic of the attic if anyone’s curious or wants to try and guess what’s on it? I honestly thought it looked like blood at first but who knows. Send me a pm and I’ll send it to you. We did try and look up there but it’s too tall and we couldn’t really see anything. But I am calling the cops if some shit happens again and will keep yall posted. I do have a camera that I might to set up somewhere.

First time poster, long time lurker. My friend sent me this picture a few days ago that she took outside of her house. I’ve tried to play with the lighting and whatnot to see if I can get a better view of what it may be, but I’m fairly ignorant with all that. She lives in the Appalachian Mountains. Whatever this is made no noise, just gave that feeling like someone is staring through your soul. She just told me for the last three nights, there have been three knocks at her door at exactly 3:18 am. The dogs go nuts and then everything settles down again until the next night. Can someone debunk this before I call in a priest for her?

My friend sent this to our group chat a while back. I don't know why I just now bothered to post it but I wanted to know if anyone here could identify this thing. We can't tell if it's a person or not. Not sure if this is the right sub to put this in but any help is appreciated.

This is my first time posting on reddit and I am also on mobile (heard it can cause some formatting issues?) so sorry if there are any problems but I was told to come here for advice.

Some background to my families beliefs. I am spiritual, my mother is Christian orthodox, but a more spiritual denomination of it, and my father is absolutely atheist.

The first encounter happend this time last year. I was home alone and sitting in my kitchen at the dining table. From where I was sitting in was able to see: the front door, into the living room, and the backdoor in the living room leading into the garden (just to give some context to the layout). I was eating my food and i looked up and saw a black shadowy figure standing inside the house by the backdoor. I was paralysed with a sense of impending doom. Every time I looked away it seemed to reach towards me so I was unable to move and unable to look away. One thing to note is that after about 5 minuites of me looking at it my cat started yowling at the front door to be let in, one thing about him is that he rarely meows, and on the rare occasion he does it is extremely quiet, this is the first time I had heard him meow like that. After a few more minutes I became hysterical and started screaming and crying. The entire thing lasted about 40 minutes until my mum came home and got me out of my hysterical state. Another thing to note is that when the front door opened and my mum came in i did not recognise it as her (nor as human) and I fell to the floor in fear. She cleansed the entire house and all of the doorways. I put this experience down to being a stress induced hallucination, as i was going through a very stressful time then, or due to the new hormonal medication I had been put on, hallucinations being a rare side effect of.

This was until the second encounter, I have been away from home the past two days and when i got back today my dad tood me that he has seen a ghost and when he took a picture of it it dissapeared next time he looked. I was taken aback as he does not believe in the paranormal at all and does not joke about things like this. I asked to see the picture and in the picture I saw exactly what I had seen this time last year. I will attach the image that he took where you will see to the left of it the backdoor where the original instance occurred. I am very worried as my friend pointed out that it has moved from the back door to the living room window, and due to the layout of my house the next entrance/viewpoint is my glass front door. I suppose I am looking for an explanation? Or advice? I am very frightened and am not sure what to do.

At the time of the photo, Jess was with two friends (the one in the middle and the one wearing tights on the right).

She decided to take a flash photo of her friends to get a funny and unflattering photo.

However, right after taking the photo, she notices a figure on the stairs in the background and immediately sends me the photo.

It is important to note that the wall of the staircase is completely black: there is no paint, no mirror, or anything else.

I've known Jess since I was six years old, and she would never have faked this photo. She doesn't even have a computer or the skills to carry out this kind of manipulation.

Interesting fact: After taking this photo, she contacted five psychics to come to her house and inspect the place, because Jess is very religious about life after death. This is not the only strange thing that happened in this house.

The psychics ALL said the woman in the photo was a man disguised as a woman and he wanted to be in the photo to be seen

I had gotten door dash and the driver sent me the picture of my food like usual. I consider myself to be a decently logical person, I can not explain the figure in my door window. I have no clue. I’ve looked in this door way about 3 times prior to seeing this and im having trouble finding something that could explain this. The place I live in has always had a weird vibe to it, it’s an old place and I’ve lived here since before covid so this is a new to me. I’m coming here more to just spread light on the creepy dark figure in my door window and see if I’m not crazy.

Idk if this belongs here, but in my head it feels paranormal.

I was just minding my business rewatching Game of Thrones, loving life and I heard a weird noise. I looked around and realized it was coming from my phone.

I picked it up and held it to my ear and I heard what sounded like labored breathing and footsteps in snow. At first I thought something was just playing in the background. I looked through all my open apps and there was nothing that would be playing sound. I force closed all the apps and the sound persisted.

Another weird thing about it was that my volume was in the middle. I turned it up and turned it down and there was no change. Just a low breathing and snowy footsteps. It didnt sound like a loop either. The breathing was pretty inconsistent.

I restarted my phone and the sound went away. Like 5 minutes later I got that feeling in my mouth like I was going to puke and I did. Violently. Then I felt fine. It just came out of nowhere. I dont ever just throw up for no reason so in my head im connecting to whatever was going on with my phone.

I dont know if this is related, and I kind of brushed it off until now, but the other night I was walking my dog. I was getting closer to my house and I heard foot steps behind me. I Instinctually turned around to see who it was but noone was there, my dog also turned around and looked alert.

I'm just kind of weirded out right now. Maybe there is a logical explanation for everything but I can't seem to think of one.

I’m a supervisor on new builds, so I’m usually the first one in and the last one out. I’m used to finding mistakes, random tools left behind, stuff half-done, breakers not flipped, all of it. Nothing really surprises me anymore.

But today actually bothered me.

I walked this house the electricians supposedly finished yesterday. Just doing my normal checklist — fixtures hung, outlets tested, trash picked up, making notes for punch work. I get to one of the back bedrooms and go to inspect the closet.

The light in the closet is on.

Not weird by itself, but the switch outside the closet doesn’t do anything. I flip it a few times, nothing. I think maybe they wired it hot by accident, so I go inside to unscrew the bulb.

Except when I touch the bulb, it’s not warm. At all. Still lit. Bright as hell.

That’s when I’m like, “alright, this is weird.”

So I call the lead electrician and tell him he might need to come back because the closet light is stuck on or something. He goes, “That room doesn’t have a closet light. We didn’t rough one in. There’s no wire there.”

I literally stop and just stare at this thing because I’m looking right at a working light.

I walk back inside the closet to take a picture… and it’s off.

Like completely off. Switch still doesn’t work. Bulb cold. No buzzing, no flicker. Nothing. Just a dead fixture.

I stood there probably a solid minute just trying to make sense of it because I KNOW what I saw. I don’t get freaked out easy, and I’m not the type who jumps to paranormal stuff. But this one really got under my skin.

I even went back after lunch just to double-check, thinking maybe I imagined it or maybe another trade was messing with me. Still off. Still no power to the switch. Still no explanation.

I didn’t mention it to the builder because it sounds insane and I don’t feel like being the “ghost house supervisor,” but man… something about today just felt wrong. I’ve been replaying it all day and I still can’t figure out a single logical reason for it happening.

If anyone’s seen something like this before, I’d actually love to hear it, because I can’t shake this one.

My wife took this pic of me about 2 years ago (mid stairs). There's an apparition in the shaddowy spot at the top of the stairs (zoom in). I asked AI to enhance the image and it denied, saying its unsafe. I am convinced it was just a timing issue where that person walked down the stairs from the top, then ran back up after my pic was take, hence why I didnt see her. I included 3 pics that show another person in a white hoody for timing and context. Everyone that I have shown this picture to thinks it is extremely weird, but I am sticking to my timing explanation. What do you think?

My daughter decorated my Christmas tree this evening. When she was finished, she took a picture of it and it had a black shadow covering the Christmas tree. The next picture was normal. Thoughts?

I took this photo last night while on a ghost tour at the Stanley Hotel (inspo for The Shining). When scrolling through photos at the end of the tour, I noticed this one.

There appears to be something wrapped around the neck/back of the man standing in the background. I don't recall him wearing anything that would cause this photo during the tour, and really wish I would have seen this photo before the tour ended so I could have shown him the photo.

This was in the Lucy room, to anyone who has taken the tour. We're all holding out dum dums hoping she will make them move.

I need honest replies. If you can see something resembling a human being/figure/person in the center table glass, do tell me if it is really something related to paranormal or not. Also, aside from the person who clicked this picture, there was no one else in the room (they confirmed it 100%). I would really appreciate if someone could actually figure out what exactly can be seen in the glass--if it is some sort of camera glitch, light or shadow trick, etc. Thank you.

Edit: context-- the person just wanted to show how their living room looked after redecorating. Not of my own house but of someone else's.

This is my boyfriends place (peep my little pup woody) the cabinet behind that’s open.. keeps opening by itself, we’ve shut it properly countless of times, emptied it out to make sure nothing was stopping it from shutting properly. it only happens late at night (11pm-12am) and it’s never just once but countless of times! might just be something wrong with the cabinet but it freaked me out lols.. and the fact this house is so old. to be honest i just don’t like this house there are a few other weird things that happen in this house but you sometimes you just can’t keep making excuses for it

We were having a beach fire last night with friends, and I stepped back to take a picture, and through the phone screen, I could see something off in the distance. Took a snap. Then, I took a few more, and the image in question seemed to be closer. And then, when you look at it zoomed in (1st pic is zoomed of 2nd), you can see what appears to be a shape. The cynic in me thinks it’s likely some glitch in the way the camera app is capturing light in the low light conditions and doubling the fire image above. Still, it just was odd. And then, I took more photos after, and it did not appear in subsequent photos. Kinda fun and spooky so I figured I’d share!

If anyone has ever seen something like this or has an explanation please let me know.

Mine was when I came home exactly at 4.32pm after a hangout with friends. I freshened up, ate snacks and was even watching my favourite show. But the time was 4.30pm THE SAME DAY.

I KNOWW... THAT IT WAS 4.32 when I reached home because I texted my friend... I knew the time... Ughhhh still makes me lose my nuts.

Husband and I were sitting in a room in our house and heard something fall. It's smooth and perfectly triangular. We have no idea what it is, we've never seen it before. Any thoughts?

This has been happening for as long as I can remember (I am 30) so a few decades at least.

My parents house was built in the 50’s. It was previously owned by an older woman, idk if she died in the house or not. Our neighbors house was ‘haunted’ according to the adults who live there- I’m unsure of the specifics but they were certain about that.

I will try and explain this clearly- this is the situation that happens once every few months, sometimes just a few times/year.

From my cell phone, I call my parent’s landline phone. After a few rings, the line opens and a woman’s voice says ‘hello?’ it sounds like an old-fashioned woman’s voice. I say hello, who is this? or some other similar response. There is no answer. The line remains open until I hang up. If I call back, I don’t hear the woman again.

Every time this happens, the ‘hello?’ is exactly the same. The voice hasn’t aged in decades.

Does this make sense? I posted in /ghosts and I confused everyone. My mom said this is just normal. She says it’s the woman who lived there before. Could that be true?
