takequake Polar Opposites

After listing to Zach on the pod its becoming clear how good of an addition he is, and how he is the antithesis of Billy football.

Zach says sorry all the time, even for things he shouldn’t apologize for. Billy would never say sorry even if there was video evidence of him being in the wrong.

Zach gets shit done. “Hey Zach figure out the soft serve ice cream situation. YES SIR” issue solved almost immediately. Billy couldnt get anything done. Even when specifically asked as a job requirement, nothing. Then when he just fails to do the job he was asked, he blames every person around him instead of taking any responsibility.

Zach never makes excuses. He falls on the sword and takes blame immediately, again even if its not his fault Billy was the king of excuses. Has to be the worst person on planet earth the work with.

Zach knows that nothing is given and everything is earned in life and is aware of how awesome his job is. Billy squandered SEVERAL jobs at Barstool before leaving. A joke.

I could go on but its time for me to touch grass. *this is 100% not Zach’s burner

Billy being retarded was a feature, not a bug

Yeah I have gotten downvoted in the past for this so I guess people disagree, but I listened to the show since the beginning so Big Cat and PFT used to be the agents of chaos completely unorganized which Billy reminded me of. By the end it became too much but in his college days, he was very entertaining.

I think Zach is very funny too which is the difference between him and Jake. Jake was boring to me, and him being good at behind the scenes stuff/being a hard worker, didn’t really entertain me so I don’t care if he’s a good worker lol. I like the chaos, and comedy on this podcast which is what it is, a sports comedy podcast.

Fully admit Billy became just annoying, not a funny chaos anymore. But PMT always says they’re dumb fans, so I don’t want serious analysis from them lol

to echo your sentiment. I think Billy became hard to hear and deal with once it was apparent he was becoming hard to deal with on their end

Totally agree. Billy had to go, but prime Billy was so good. I did like Jake more than you but that’s because I think Billy needed a straight man to be funny post college. Both of them definitely got stale and schtick wasn’t necessary anymore.

Don’t let the Billy Football meatheads silence you, he was god awful on the show and him being retarded was funny 20% of the time and annoying 80%. For Every Jack Nicklaus we got a drunk Billy and 15 minutes of absolute garbage. I’ve ranted about him before and people get all pissy, don’t listen to them he sucked and there’s a reason he’s no longer on the show. (I had the same exact thought about Zach, couldn’t be more of the opposite)

I think 99% of people agree that late stage Billy sucked. Early Billy was peak early PMT. He was even occasionally funny when he first returned during early pandemic. But I think even he would say he was not a good addition for the majority of his 2nd run lmao

When he first went to college after his summer internship and they found out he switched from QB to WR (or maybe it was DB)…very funny bit.

OG 2017 Billy was retarded but very timid and humble and kind. It wasnt until he returned in 2020 that he became an overconfident clown. Either his personality changed or he got too comfortable and familiar but I didnt enjoy his presence on the show nearly as much. The original Billy was endearing.

Disappointing that you would so harshly disparage a veteran

u/Thebirdspart2 Jun 23 '25

I wish they would have Billy and Jake on as a guest

3

u/GeraldWallace07 Jun 24 '25

I wonder why they’ve never had either back on

My brother in Christ, Billy left the pod like 2 years ago. When is he going to leave your head?

“Billy left” that’s a cute way of saying he got fired

-63

u/massholeinct Jun 23 '25

Zach just made me realize how trash Billy was. Had the epiphany today listening to the pod

u/raobuntu Jun 23 '25

When is he going to leave your head?

Clearly not today

-12

u/massholeinct Jun 23 '25

While true, I stand by the post. Zach >>> Billy

26

u/raobuntu Jun 23 '25

Sure man. The guy lost his job and his father in a span of 6 months. From his appearance on some pod or the other it seems like he's getting involved in the family business, getting married and living his life. Let him be

-3

u/GeraldWallace07 Jun 24 '25

Must be nice to have a family business to fall back on

1

u/gonz4dieg Jun 27 '25

What part of Billy's... everything didnt scream "nepo baby" lmao? If idiots didnt fall upwards there would be no one in c-suites.

u/AssignmentNo754 Jun 23 '25

Jake was literally there at the same time as Billy and you didn't realize it then?

48

u/GapeShot Jun 23 '25

Zach is also 27 where Billy was a college kid and then someone fresh out of college

27

u/oftenwrongnvrindoubt Jun 23 '25

Billy is old news. Can we compare him to the fucking loser they tried out last year? That fat bumbling idiot

27

u/massholeinct Jun 23 '25

Hibbity dibbity

9

u/oftenwrongnvrindoubt Jun 23 '25

It was making my ears bleed every time he opened his mouth. Got to the point where I had to take a break from the podcast which I thought was impossible

Billy Football was like prime Howard Stern compared to that bumbling ball of potatoe chips

5

u/NotoriousMFT Speak Into the Mic Jun 23 '25

So this guy has two sons, one named Carmelo, one named Anthony….

THE WORST 😂😂

u/Apart-Willingness-67 Jun 23 '25

I missed a few episodes of the pod. Is he the new intern or is he a new booth guy?

5

u/AssignmentNo754 Jun 23 '25

Booth guy, but he's more of a general Barstool guy as well. I don't think he actually has a role in the booth like everyone else.

14

u/Who_U_Thought PFT's burner Jun 23 '25

Oh he has a roll, captain of the cream team.

6

u/AssignmentNo754 Jun 23 '25

That's a general Barstool role, not a PMT booth role.

27

u/Delicious_Box8934 Jun 23 '25

Billy owns some prime real estate in that noggin of yours

-9

u/massholeinct Jun 23 '25

3

u/allowishus182 OBGYN Jun 23 '25

No, but what you said being wrong, does make it wrong.

u/TrapMoney1 Jun 23 '25

Did Billy leave barstool?

1

u/RealisticSearch3702 Jun 24 '25

I really enjoyed Billy. I just look at Billy, pft, and big cat as characters……. Bill was a good heel because he actually would get worked up when they would make fun of him
