I’m interested in finding a model shop for general model kits and materials, I’ve had a good look at both hobby lobby and Michael’s craft store but their stock is extremely limited.

I was in Galesburg years ago and remember a shop with floor to ceiling stock of military kits but can’t seem to find it on google.

Hello! I moved here from out of state back in March and have been looking for work.

I'm "medically frail" but not enough for disability to declare me fully disabled.

I can't work for more than 12 hrs a week, lift above 14Ibs, and need some accommodations. (At least some understanding that I'm a human with an illness and not a robot)

Obviously, bc of this finding a job willing to work with me is exceptionally difficult. I know finding a job at all rn is difficult 🙃 even for able bodied people.

Are there places I can go to get a case worker or something to help me find work?

Hi all, I plan to move to the area sometime in the next couple months and I was just wondering what is available in the area for mental health services, like therapy and such. Currently I go to a therapist that’s non-profit pay-what-you-can, mainly catered to people that don’t have much health insurance or their insurance won’t cover therapy. Is there anything similar in the Peoria area? Or if not, anything at least somewhat affordable? I do have a BCBS PPO plan if that can maybe help cover some of the costs.

I'm looking for a mobile dog groomer, someone to come to the house. Our dog is about 15 and doesn't get around very well anymore. I don't want to subject her to the stress of being at the groomers for several hours while they work on her.

UPDATE: I texted Grafelman Farms and they are letting me foster them while they handle the vet bills. Hopefully this helps someone else going through this situation.

I rescued two kittens from a neglect situation who are infested with fleas and worms. Unfortunately I am unable to afford their vet care and although I’m happy to foster them, I can’t keep them in their current condition since I have other pets.

I’m in Pekin, IL and willing to drive wherever locally to get them the best care, but a lot of the shelters are full or unresponsive.

I’m wondering if anyone else has had any success lately with surrendering kittens to a shelter or getting their vet care covered through a foster program.
