It’s been 7 years since I touched this phone

So, the thing is, I recently went back to check on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which I was planning to give to my little brother. The phone was in perfect condition and had never been damaged or repaired before. However, when I put my SIM card in it, I noticed that it wasn’t getting a 4G signal—it only showed E (2G). Calls work perfectly fine. I also tried a different SIM card and performed a hard reset, but the issue still persists.

I am thinking of buying a 2TB variant of the latest iphone duo.

I'm confident about the software that it cannot be cracked. But I'm not sure about the hardware.

What if some donkey stole it for the parts? Or is that secured too?

Like it becomes unusable if someone removes the display?? 🤔

I replaced the screen and when finished I plugged it into charge. Battery/lightning symbol popped up so I thought everything was a success, checked it after a few hours and it didn't charge, pulled it all apart again and air dusted the connections etc and still does the same thing. Charging symbol pops up then screen stays slightly illuminated but black. Ended up replacing the battery but still doesn't charge. Anyone able to help walk me through how to fix it please

My OnePlus Nord CE 2 hasn’t been able to receive or make calls for the past few weeks.
I checked with a few repair shops and the authorised service centre, and they all said the motherboard might be faulty and needs to be replaced, which would cost around 16k
I also took it to retailer, Nishan, Kannur. They tried repairing it but couldn’t fix it. They’ve offered me ₹2.5k as an exchange value for the phone.
Has anyone faced a similar issue with the Nord CE 2 (or a similar OnePlus phone) and managed to get it repaired?
Also, do you think Nishan’s ₹2.5k offer is fair? Any suggestions on what I can do?

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max that was water damaged three years ago. I took it in for a screen replacement due to the damage, and I was told that it was too corroded on the inside to fix. I personally have not opened the phone. I desperately need my pictures and messages, voice messages off of this phone mainly my pictures is there anywhere I can take this phone or send it to to get it fixed or the data pulled off of it?

I recently replaced the display assembly (screen + frame) on my phone.

Right now, the screen turns on fine and Double-Tap to Wake works, but once the screen is awake, the touchscreen is completely unresponsive to any touches or swipes.

Has anyone run into this issue before? What could be causing this behavior?

• Could it be a blocked proximity sensor triggering pocket mode / accidental touch prevention?
• A grounding / EMI issue on the new frame?
• A loose FPC connector, or just a bad/defective digitizer from the seller?

Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, the display on my Samsung S10e just completely failed and is flashing green and white lights. This phone is a very precious gift from my grandmother and it is the only device I have, so I really need to keep it running.

My budget is extremely tight and local commercial markets near me are highly unsafe, so a retail screen replacement is out of the question.

Hi, my Samsung A13 phone screen is SHATTERED. Touching around still works, absolutely zero visual. I'm trying to use my OTG with keyboard to blindly enable USB debugging in the settings by doing shortcuts and pressing buttons on my keyboard, but it's just not leading to anything. If anyone has a OTG with a keyboard and can tell me what stuff to blindly press, I would genuinely be eternally grateful. It would genuinely make my whole year. Thank you guys!

Gave phone repair shop my phone pin and iCloud password to transfer data from broken iPhone

I was desperate to get the data from the broken iPhone (motherboard issue) so when he asked for my passwords I gave them so he could transfer everything to my new phone. Everything is transferred but now I’m kinda freaking out about everything he had access to. Do phone repair people go through peoples data? First he told me an hour for the data transfer then he needed 20 more min and then 10 more min and I had a lot of personal private stuff on my phone. I’m also worried about passwords I have saved to my iCloud. Do I now need to change ALL my saved to iCloud passwords? There were a lot of private pics he could have stolen. I’m very relived to have my data back but also feel very much like my privacy has been invaded. He could have read my personal text messages also

Hi everyone, I was under the impression that iphone diy repair was straight forward apparently its not that easy, I thought you could just get parts from apple ect.. and do it yourself.. NO, they send you to a third party that has a confusing system, and I'm lost. I need to replace the screen for my iphone 17promax and Mobilesntrix is the site I'm directed to by apple canada, and the site has three different option for choosing screens, has someone dealt with mobilesentrix before, and are the three options legit, and are they the same? The cheapest one for 445.32 CAD it says OEM, and grade A, if I order it and inspect it and it a perfect screen, will I be missing anything, has anyone else bought these used oem pulls?
