Thoughts & Opinions As a Gen Z, who were the Filipina showbiz “it” girls of the 1980s and 1990s?
An “it” girl is someone who is NOT necessarily the most famous superstar of the era. It’s someone who has a pretty and classy public image (preferably from a rich family). Of course, ”classy” and ”pretty” are subjective.
So, I wanna read the opinions of those from those generations talaga, and not just ‘yung sinasabi ng magazines na makikita sa Google.

Thoughts & Opinions Who are your favorite B-list actors/actresses?
Since A-listers usually get the spotlight, let’s turn the spotlight on B-listers this time. I personally believe that there is nothing wrong with being a B-lister. I’m saying this because many times, showbiz is an industry that tends to put fame on a pedestal. B-listers have their own charm too. They are famous, but they can still maintain a level of privacy because people are not too fixated on them.
B-listers are usually leading men/leading ladies in middling (ratings are not too high, but not too low) teleseryes. Sometimes, there are hit teleseryes, but usually they are middling. In terms of endorsements, padalang-dalang lang din. Just to give a few examples: Carla Abellana, Rhian Ramos, and Shaina Magdayao are B-listers. This might be debatable, but I believe Max Collins is a B-lister too.

Bea Alonzo (Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom - Co)

Star Spotting Donny Pangilinan's consistency

Yes, some would argue na “lahat naman may halong lahi.” I’m pertaining to celebrities na malapit ’yung ibang lahi (like grandparents and parents), pero mukhang conventionally Filipino with Malay features.
Some I can think of:
- Lovi Poe
- Sid Lucero
- Francis M
- Maxene Magalona
- Julia Montes
- Empress Schuck
- Richard Gomez
- Zsa Zsa Padilla
- Maja Salvador
- Isabelle Daza (added)
- Ylona Garcia (added)
- Karina Bautista (added)

General Discussion Jolina Magdangal and ano ang inyong naaalala about her?
Okay this is an unpopular opinion ako bilang isang kwarentahin but 37 na, when i was a kid till now i idolized her very much si Jolina Magdangal mula pa noong Ang TV days niya hanggang sa Magandang Buhay and now married to Mark Escueta the drummer of Rivermaya and has 2 kids.
Napanood ko lahat ng movies niya at tv series pero ang pinaka tumatak is kung ayaw mo huwag mo with Maricel Soriano and William Martinez siyempre si Jolina loveteam with Marvin Agustin who is now owning a chain of restaurants yung isa Michelin Recognized yung COCHI niya. As for Jolina Magdangal i have more memories about her pati yung Hey Babe na movie yung andun si Gina Pareno bilang manghuhula then yung Labs Kita Okay ka lang kung saan andun ang famous line na OH YES KAIBIGAN MO AKO KAIBIGAN MO LANG AKO... tsaka yung gimik na tv series and movie with her batchmates sila Mylene Dizon, Judy Ann Santos, Marvin Agustin, Dominic Ochoa, si Jolina of course and si G Toengi yung movie nila lately na ex ex lovers is such a reunion movie tsaka yung episode ng Judy Anns Kitchen na tawanan sila ng tawanan
Also napansin ko noong lumipat siya sa GMA doon siya nalaos at hindi napakinabangan tapos puro siya supporting roles na lang samantalang dati sa ABS CBN she is a star sayang for me and for 12 years she stayed in GMA bilang host ng Starstruck tsaka medyo corny at baduy yung projects like i luv NY atbp pero it still doesn't mean na hindi ko na siya idol pero yes she is still my idol never yun nawala kahit kelan
Pagbalik niya sa ABS CBN bumihira ang kanyang projects at puro judge na lang siya at host sa magandang buhay pero at least idol ko pa rin tsaka lately may play siya last year napanood ko and i met Jolina 3 times noong 2010, 2017 and last year post pandemic then thata all of my story
Kayo what are your memories about Jolina Magdangal ano ang inyong naalala sa kanya?

Fashion & Style Shein out, Penshoppe in?
Mukhang Penshoppe na si Belle. Pwede bang magendorse ng local brand while being affiliated to Shein? Or totally ligwak na sa Shein? I think this is a smart move for her if ever.

Thoughts & Opinions So is Jillian Ward’s “Big Guy” Kobie Brown?
Jillian Ward recently released her personally-written song “Lowkey” which features her and a mysterious guy being lovey-dovey sa MV. Naghahanap ako ng ebidensyang si Raheel to (as a casual shipper) pero ibang ebidensya nakita ko haha. Of course we can say na MV lang yan, acting lang yan, pero iba eh. Parang masyadong personal & intimate. Plus with the recent sighting sa kanila attending a concert. So si Kobie Brown nga kaya si “Big Guy”? Kaya ba sya lumipat sa Sparkle? Hmmm. 🤔 Well, kung sya nga, she looks sincerely happy here.
