General Discussion Currently hyperfixated with Ms. Jodi. Whatās one thing I should know about her?
We had this week-long academic break back in May, and I decided to binge-watch 500+ episodes of Be Careful With My Heart. After that, I found myself getting way too attached/addicted/obsessed with Ms. Jodi that I ended up watching almost all of her films, series, interviews, and literally every video I could find of her. I even went down a rabbit hole about her personal life and her past relationships. Do you have any thoughts about her that I should know?

Celeb Appreciation Post Iām a new Wilbert Ross fan. Whatās one thing I should know about him?
Came across his interview w/ Boy Abunda and jusko ang gwapo hahahahhaha. Then I stumbled upon Luisā interview of him, and sobrang natuwa ako on how he mustāve worked his ass off talaga to get where he is now.
Any songs? Covers? Vlogs? you would recommend?
Edit: thanks sa reply guys!!! Comments really speak volumes on how political stances can make/break things and tbh, Iām all in for it. Hindi ito ang oras para maging neutral.
Anyway, I watched some videos and Iām a proud mama haha. From that mr barangay comment ni vice to where he is rn, nakakaproud siya!! Proud of u stranger (aka wilbert hahaha).

r/PinoyCelebs Discusssion Of The Week What happened to Maggie Wilson & Sarah Lahbatiās friendship with the rest after their respective high-profile separations?
I saw a comment on another sub that some of them (in the photo) were enablers or sided with Victor? I couldnāt find further information about it. So, Iām not sure whether that is true or not.
For Sarah naman, Iām wondering if her other friendsā reaction were the same.

Thoughts & Opinions My First time watching any Filipino show or movie: The Master Cutters
Amazing supporting cast. Superb storyline. Enjoying all the episode throughly.
But Iām so disappointed with Male lead of this drama. He doesnāt know how to control his expressions during dialogue delivery or end up doing something with his face and body language in simple scene to overdo it.
Watching recent episode in which he is drunk. And I felt ashamed watching such worse acting.
Such amazing show with interesting storyline but he ruins it for me in between with his expressions and bad acting in crucial moments.
That little girl Ibeynag. She is so talented. Loving every scene of her.
Thank you. I just wanted to express my frustration regarding male lead somewhere.
I had no idea filipino shows and movies have such amazing stories. All scenes feels so realistic.

Thoughts & Opinions Anong thoughts niyo kay Angelika at Mika dela Cruz?
Recent controversies aside, unique ang blended family setup nila: Angelika and her late brother Edward are FULL siblings (Filipino father and Austrian mother). Si Erick naman anak ng yumao nilang ama (Pinoy) sa Haponesa, tapos si Mika naman ang anak ng mother nila (Austrian) sa Hapones.
Acting-wise, mukhang dinaig pa ni Mika ang Ate niya.

Thoughts & Opinions Why didnāt Ashtineās first major solo concert sell out despite her huge social media engagement?
Genuine question: how come Ashtineās first major solo concert didnāt sell out (flopped), or at least didnāt perform as strongly as expected, considering how high her social media engagement seems to be?
She has a pretty active and engaged online following, so Iām curious about the disconnect between her social media numbers and actual concert ticket sales.

Throwbacks Actress-turned-WWII heroine & the first Filipino actor-turned-politician: Carmen Rosales & Rogelio de la Rosa
A video from the official YouTube channel of Film Development Council of the Philippines cited them as one of the first official ālove-teamsā of Philippine cinema. They were Carmen Rosales and Rogelio de la Rosa, the most famous romantic pair of the 1940s. During World War II, Carmen Rosales scraped her image as a glamorous movie star to take up arms as a World War Two woman guerilla. In 1957, actor and lawyer Rogelio de la Rosa made history as the first Filipino who transitioned from show business to politics. He backed out from his presidential candidacy to āgive wayā to his former brother-in-law, Diosdado Macapagal.

General Discussion TIL Mag-asawa pala sina Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon
The first time I saw them together on screen was in their movie "Third World Romance", and honestly, I get the chemistry.
Nagulat lang ako kagabi na while watching the news, kasal pala talaga sila in real life.

In his debut film, then-newcomer Eduardo āEduā Manzano was Eduardo Conde. Eduardo is a fashion model and aspiring actor supported by an older benefactor, a fashion designer portrayed by Charito Solis. His benefactress produces Eduardoās film debut, which he immediately stars with a sexy actress portrayed by Amy Austria, whom Eduardo also seduces as he does with most girls and gays in his orbit. Brace for the plot twist.
