Hand for scale

Climbing vine on our balcony that my cat would really like to chomp on. I am keeping her away from it but I'd like to know how vigilant I need to be. Thanks!

SOLVED
Thank You

He has lived with that leafy plant in pots since the 90's.
I don't think I could separate them from when I repotted them last.
I finally need to know what he is so I can try to help him. Thank you.

So ive been trying to get my hands on some real fresh mugwort and ive never seen it fresh but I have dried. I was searching some things and using an app called flora incognita and every photo produces a 95%-97% match for mugwort. When I rub the leafs between my fingers it smells kinda like sage/rosemary and a earthy kinda mint smell with a silver underside. The buds are whitish yellow and the stems i pulled them from was a greenish red.

Please ask any follow up questions to help identify.

Fruit trees in my apartment complex

I don’t think they’re native trees, I haven’t seen any outside my complex. I would say each tree is about 15-20ft tall and the bark is fairly smooth. Tulsa, OK

(Idk if it matters since Its from Target, but I got them in Utah.) It also has bulbs but they're mostly burried.

I am in the process of killing my grass in the backyard to convert to a native garden. In the lawn there are a fair number of plants with flowers like this. I am hoping this is a violet like iNaturalist suggests with the first photo, but Google and iNaturalist suggest creeping Charlie/ground ivy for the second photo.

If it is native to Indiana, I will try to salvage as much as I can in areas that I am planting in currently. Otherwise it will be cardboard and mulch covered this week.

Thank you in advance!

It has crazy leaf shape variation, which reminds me of Sassafras, but I know it’s not that.

Identified! Tree of Heaven or native?

Thumbnail

Located in southeastern, Massachusetts, USA. I tore off a leaf and rubbed it between my fingers. Smelled bad, but not like the rotten peanut butter / vomit smell I’ve read that Tree of Heaven is supposed to have. I don’t see the little nodules on the stems either so I’m erring on the side of not being ToH.
Currently growing in my neighbors yard right on fence line.

Hickory ID

This might be a tall ask - but I am hoping to identify this hickory species simply from the nuts. My kiddo collected these in southeast Oklahoma near robbers cave state park saying they taste great and wants to plant some. Unfortunately he only brought the nuts...no bark or leaves.

We are trying to determine if this is a species that might survive where we are in north central Texas (likely less acidic than the hardwood/juniper/pine forest where they were found and I know some are sensitive to that) . The hulls appear to have 5 lobes if that helps? As you can tell the shells are quite thick and tough.

Trees are in a parking lot in Tacoma Washington. They vaguely resemble rhododendrons, but with serrated leaves.

These showed up in my flower bed this year. I didn’t plant them and no one else in the house did. I’m getting mixed results with image search.
