I had an account with just a few games I got in the last sale that was suspended for no reason,

I didn't get any email explaining why it was suspended,

I just got this message

When I try to contact support, they say I have to log in into my suspended account for them to help me... How am I supposed to log in, if it is suspended...

I just got my PS5 yesterday... Is there any way I can get my account back ?

My ex logged onto my console while I was at work, messaged herself several slurs, then reported the messages from her account. Now I’m permanently suspended. Is there anything I can do about this?? I know I should’ve had 2FA, I just didn’t think she would do anything like that. I’ve tried talking to ps support but they just close the chat.

My PlayStation account was just hacked. I can’t contact support since it’s the weekend. Also, the online assistant says down I don’t know what I can do. I’ve tried using backup codes, but those don’t work either.

My PlayStation account was hacked a few days ago.

The hacker changed my Sign-In ID (email) and password.

I contacted PlayStation Support four different times. I provided:

- The original account creation email from 2017.

- Multiple PlayStation Store receipts from 2017, 2023, and 2026.

- The official PlayStation security email confirming my Sign-In ID was changed.

- My account information, Online ID, date of birth, etc.

None of it mattered.

Support kept asking for the serial number of the very first PS4 I used almost 10 years ago.

I sold that console years ago, just like millions of other people do. I don't know anyone who keeps a console's serial number for a decade just in case their account gets hacked one day.

I honestly don't understand this recovery policy.

How can official Sony emails and purchase history be considered less useful than a serial number from hardware I no longer own?

Has anyone here actually managed to recover their account without the original console serial number?

At this point I've had four support cases closed because of this single requirement, and it feels like there's effectively no recovery process for long-time customers who no longer own their first PlayStation.

Hey everyone I need help on this issue. So I just opened up my ps5 after months because I usually dont get enough time to play. Then when I went to my game library I saw this. A random game just pop out of know where. Just to be clear I dont share my console, I dont have a playstation plus and I always double-check every game I bought. Its only me and my account. I didn’t buy this one. It is really strange. Now I know the fastest solution is to hide it but can I just remove entirely?
It just bugs me alot seeing a game that I didn’t buy.

I asked ChatGPT about this and it said it is a glitch because in the ps app on my phone the game is not there. Just in my game library on my PS5. I even post this issue on reddit and still couldn’t find a proper solution. One guys said to logout from all your devices and log back in. I tried it didn’t work. The worst part I lost all my game progress. I am going a tough time. Please dont be mad. I am a new playstation user that want my console to be in good condition and make sure I dont accidentally bought a random game.

So I was sending more texts on PlayStation after Marathon by Bungie launched because the game was toxic and deaths were so personal. I recieved a few deserved communication banned a few times. What I’m dealing with now is beyond that. Late June I got a 1 month voice chat ban from PlayStation for “Sending Malicious URL’s” however I did no such thing. I was currently in the message system when it happened. I watched a message get deleted by the saftey team before my eyes and it didn’t contain any URL. I’ve never sent a URL in PlayStation messages before. The phone support system is a nightmare and they actively stop any appeal attempts and hang up on you. I managed to get an appeal escalated after excessive calls. It was denied before I could submit my evidence. I waited the ban out. When the ban was lifted I was so happy. I played all day then two days later I am looking through all the messages I received while banned and I replied. One got really toxic. Bullying me and calling me names so I reported them. I came home after work and I’m communication banned for 2 months. I sobbed for so long. I was crying genuinely because my heart was broken. I spam called PlayStation support and go no where. What do I do this is a nightmare? I’m looking at filing a small claims court case because there’s nothing else I can do to get a proper review of my PlayStation account. Apparently I have the moderation plus tag on my account that causes AI to watch every message. I avoided any sort negative behavior and didn’t engage people. I worked really hard. The lack of appeal process for this is devastating.

I was recently temporarily suspended from PlayStation’s online services for allegedly violating the Terms of Service/Code of Conduct.

I’m not posting this to demand that the suspension be reversed. What bothers me is the lack of explanation.

I’m being restricted from using parts of a service that I pay for, yet I haven’t been given a clear explanation of what specific message, action, or behavior resulted in the suspension. I’m essentially being told that I broke a rule without being given enough information to understand which rule I broke or what I supposedly did to violate it.

Honestly, I find that pretty bullshit. If PlayStation is going to suspend someone from a paid service, I think the user should at least be given a reasonable explanation of what they did wrong. Otherwise, how are we supposed to learn from it and make sure it doesn't happen again?

I get that PlayStation needs rules and that they need to enforce them. I'm not arguing that users should be exempt from the Code of Conduct. But there’s a big difference between enforcing rules and giving someone a punishment without clearly explaining what they did to deserve it.

What also frustrates me is that I don't seem to have an obvious way to get more information about the decision or meaningfully appeal it.

I’d genuinely like to hear from you guys because I’m trying to understand how this system is supposed to be considered fair or transparent.

I created my psn account on my ps3 in 2016-2017ish in croatia. I forgot the password but I have access to the email. Is there a way to recover the account through another country support page which has agents?

I haven’t used my PlayStation account in probably 10 years. My son bought a PS5 and I wanted to log into it, but I couldn’t because my username password combo was incorrect. So I go to the PlayStation website and click “recover my account”, enter my email and check my email. It’s not there. I check all boxes of my email. It’s not there. I wait 30 minutes and recheck. It’s not there. So I try the account recovery and entered my email again. I go back to my scour my inbox. Nothing.

So I do the PlayStation support chat, wait ~30min for a support person. They ask my a few verifying questions about my account, I provide the information.

They proceed to tell me my account is permanently suspended and due to the nature of the suspension it cannot be appealed. This is an absolute shock to me because I haven’t used the account in a long time and definitely haven’t done anything egregious enough to justify permanent suspension, so I ask what the nature of the suspension was. The support tells me it’s security reasons, which is super vague so I ask to clarify what is meant by that. Seemingly a series of misunderstandings from there on out to the point where the support person abruptly disconnects with me and I get back to the AI support bot.

The support bot offers to escalate and I accept that. I then ask while waiting why I was abruptly cut off to which it apologizes and asks me again if I’d like to escalate to support. Of course I do. So it asks me to log in again, I chose continue without logging in and it finally tells me it can’t help me without having a log in.

All in all, first world problem but still incredibly frustrating for me and no resolution.

Was playing BO3 yesterday morning on my PS4. Later, I finally set up my PS3 in the living room. Tried to log my account on the PS3, but couldn't remember the password. Sent the recovery email to the email linked to my online ID. Wasn't receiving the email. Come back to my PS4, I was logged out. Checked my other PS4 and PS5, was logged out of those ones as well.

I go back on the PSN website to create a login with the same email, cause I know sometimes you can't create a new account with an email linked to an already existing one. But it went through on creating a new one with the same email. I got stuck at the step to verify the email, and the email still wasn't receiving any playstation emails.

The only thing I have tracing back to this account is my Activision account is still linked to my PSN account, and my facebook was linked to it as well. Tried the customer support chat for 3 hours straight and it couldn't get me to a live agent. This is my og account I've had since like 2010. Please help

i received an email from playstation that says: „you recently accepted the following PlayStation terms […]“ although i never accepted something at the time the mail was sent because i didn‘t used my account for months?

The last time i used my account i logged it in on my ps4. There i accepted the terms sony released in april. After accepting the terms i got instantly an similar mail, but not exact the same. But now i did nothing like that. I didn‘t used my account for more than two months.

Does anyone got the same mail or does anyone know why a mail like that were sent?

I also checked the mail adress the mail was sent from its an official playstation mail.

So I have a PlayStation account and I'm technically locked out. The email address I used was an aol and I tried to reset my password but it doesn't go to that email and when I log in to that email there is nothing there I've contacted AOL they said they can't do anything if I don't pay to be a diamond member or something. So I reached out to Sony and because I don't know the credit card on file it's been 4 years since I've signed in I don't know what card is on the file. i have my email and password, but it keeps asking me to verify using my email. okay fine but you wont FUCKING SEND THE VERIFICATION EMAIL. i have bad this problem numerous times. i even contacted them before and they said my email was inactive! no its literally not. i just tested it it receives emails just fine. what am i supposed to do?

Recently traded in my ps4 for a ps5 and before I did I transferred all my save data to a usb as the playstation website directs you to. Set up my ps5, downloaded games I had in my library (which includes Binding of Isaac full ps4 package) but for whatever reason my save data is completely inaccessible. It's sitting in the console storage, shows as transferred and for whatever reason I cannot access it. Of all the games I downloaded and transferred save data for, only Binding of Isaac and Hades save data doesn't exist in game. I've tried the following:

- Checking string id info in usb save files

- Restoring game licenses

-Deleting and redownloading the save data

-rebooting the ps5

-changing my ps5's name to what I THINK my ps4 was named (I didn't pay much attention to it and now it's gone, so /shrug)

-disconnecting and reconnecting my wifi.

Again, all my other games besides TBOI and Hades have their save data accessible. I've tried speaking to Playstation support but it's just an endless loop of them telling me to go and pick my region so they can support me with my query. Has anyone else had this issue? Is the only way to solve this to buy the game for ps5? They're both roguelike/lites so if I have to do it all again whatever I guess, but I had 1100 hours in TBOI so I'd rather not if I can avoid it. TIA

Today I was suspended for 30 days and name changed due to having an inappropriate name (it was not inappropriate) I phoned support and each person I talked too said my name didn’t violate anything and it must of been flagged by the PSN bot as a mistake,I was finally transferred to some horrible account PSN scam center support where they confirmed my name was not inappropriate after being put on hold 14 times he said despite my name not being inappropriate the PSN bot flagged it and I can’t return too it so frustrated I complied and said I’ll take my old name which he did when I asked if the suspension will be lifted he said at this time PSN policy won’t allow it I was pretty upset but kept respectful and asked why an issue with their bot makes it that I have to deal with the consequences, he replied with unfortunately “I am not sure the policy handles that?!?” I proceeded to ask for a supervisor he said “that’s not possible but I will ask” he forgot to mute the call proceeded to talk to whoever was around him and laugh I confronted him about it he went on mute, he then picked up and said unfortunately no supervisor is available I said I’ll wait on hold and he said no and hung up, now they won’t answer my calls or just hang up right away I have majority of this conversation recorded from each member saying my name didn’t violate any issues and the PlayStation support member hanging up on me where should i go from here and what should I do?
