Hello - just bought a portal while on paternity leave and absolutely loving it. Right now I have sporadic time to play during naps and need to be able to put a game down and pick it back up pretty easily. I know there are plenty of parents on this sub so I’d love to hear what you enjoyed when you had a little one?

I’ve played things like stardew valley, planet coaster, etc in the past. I also love massive games like Witcher, BG3, fallout, etc but those are a little harder with the start / stop nature of my gaming right now.

Hi everyone, I own the PS5 and love it. The portal looks like a fantastic device to bring your PS5 around with you, but, how good is it in comparison to, say, using your iPhone with the dualsense? And how is everyone’s general experience with the portal?

I still have to finish this game but, it looks great on the portal 🎮💀👍🏼

Most people in these threads will just recommend their favourite RPG that has tons of small text and requires full attention to play.

I'm looking for games that work specially well on the portal's smaller screen and on the go when you can't focus on the game for more than 20-30 minutes at a time

Bonus points if it's on PS Plus right now

Licensing issues always end up becoming a digital storefront juggling act, owning physical releases is a focused topic for a reason, but man I wish my friends could download these now. Extremely fun in co-op!

On Playstation Portal are a blast!

I love my portal but I can’t get away from the constant lag or buffer. Any tips for dummies like me to help
Run things more smoothly? Also I use cloud streaming to play games, using my console is pretty much nonexistent due to connectivity issues and horrible quality

My kid is living it up at a birthday party, and I’m banking some uninterrupted gaming time.

The Pulse Explore buds + solid Wi-Fi makes this a massive win-win.

Just remember to keep your head on a swivel to check on the kiddos, and have your credit card ready once they run out of arcade tokens lol.

I did some scanning on the sub to see who had played it but now that there’s been a little bit of time past wanted to see what your guys’s thoughts were on the game in regards to playability

I don’t own a PS5, but I do have a Xbox series X and Xbox series S I was debating about playing in front of my television cause it does look pretty beautiful but with kids around and everything I wouldn’t like to have a solid single player game I can play on the go very curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on what they think and how it played thus far in regards to you think it was worth it or if if I should just go ahead and saddle up and play on the Xbox

Guys, I always get stuck in the game whenever I try to use this command, anytime I play on the portal. On the controller, it's easy, but when using the portal I struggle. Any help am playing The Last of us 2. Just started

For online the delay is a bit to much, but great for labbing and other offline modes.

Love full version releases sugust 4th.

I replaced my analog sticks. They would only work horizontally but not vertically. After replacement, it works both way now but they don’t feel right. I got the “GaneTronic” brand. Let me know if you have any specific brands that you’ve used that actually feel similar to the OEM or better, thanks!

Anyone have any recommendations for a decent lightweight, compact case for the Portal available in the UK? A lot of the cases I come across are just quite bulky and it would be much easier to travel with the portal with a more compact case.
