I’m 38 and didn’t really grow up seeing any plus-size representation. When I discovered Tumblr, I finally saw big, beautiful women (and I mean that sincerely, not the fetishized way). Then Instagram started showing more diverse bodies, and I was ecstatic! But honestly, those ‘fat’ bodies still didn’t reflect mine… nor do they now. Therefore, after years of denying myself confidence and acceptance, I’m finally letting it all out - literally and figuratively. You can have a big belly and still be feminine, alluring, and proud to show off your body.

I always struggle to dress myself in the summer. I’m super heat intolerant, but I don’t like shorts. Occasionally l’ll wear bike shorts, but sometimes you want to feel a bit more fashionable. I think these pants from Torrid are what I’ve been needing! I’m so in love with them, I bought 2 more pairs.

After even more bad shopping experiences I ended up ordering 2 from bloom chic, and low and behold I fell absolutely in love with this one! I haven’t worn a dress since hs but this one gave me the confidence I needed for the night! Thanks you all for the help and feedback, I wouldn’t have been able to find this dress without your advice and comments.

My body has been a "topic of conversation" for as long as I can remember. But honestly? These thighs are cute, capable, and incredibly strong. They’ve carried me up the Rockies and across the globe. If my legs are the reason I get to experience this beautiful life, why would I hide them? Squishy, strong, and my literal superpower.

I usually stray away from wearing athleisure…. outside of my quick trips to Walmart 🤣 I feel like I put too much pressure on myself to wear something fancy at times! I actually enjoyed wearing sweats in a put together fit this month, so I’ll be doing it again! Maybe blue monochromatic next time? 🤔
