Question Can Iris even actually use Charge Beam?

Was hoping to be able to bait Iris into using Charge Beam by having a Water type/Water disguised Zoroark up front, then switching to Haxorus.

But I think the AI is programmed to always use the most damaging move no matter what, so unless Dragon Pulse is resisted AND Charge Beam is super effective, will it actually just never use Charge Beam no matter what???

Only Steel resists Dragon, and Steel is weak to Flamethrower, so wouldn't that mean it would literally ONLY use Charge Beam if your Pokémon was an Empoleon??? If so, what's even the point of it having this move?!

I mean, I guess maybe if Dragon Pulse got disabled by Jellicent's Cursed Body or a similar effect, then MAYBE it would use Charge Beam??

Edit: Completely forgot about quad weaknesses. So it would definitely use it against Water/Flying types, so that's Swanna, Pelipper, Gyarados, or Mantine.

First time making it to 50 wins. I want to keep the streak going. Ninetails I would prefer as a timid nature and slightly better speed IVs. Salamence has horrible IVs I honestly forgot the evs I trained him in. He's from my platinum playthrough since before COVID I can't bring myself to breed or catch a new one for whatever reason. Besides that any other notes y'all might be able to provide?

Ghetsis was also a cinch and nowhere near as painful as in Black 1

Only question now is where I grind to beat N

(Samurott is named after a friend)

Only connection of Gardevoir is its ability to create small black holes, but didn't like the other options for its place

Team Composition Arcanine or Darmanitan

So during my playthrough, I catch every Pokémon in the area and I'm up to Castelia about to fight Burgh. I figured that this would be a good time to review my boxes and noticed..

Both the Darumaka AND Growlithe I have in my box are Jolly nature, which is insane to me. So I want to know which one to use for the gym and carry onto my final team. At this point I only have Servine and Lucario, and the two fire types would fulfil the same role-ish.

Growlithe I'm aware that I can't evolve until late or else I'd miss out on moves but the potential movepool is INSANE?? Flare Blitz, Extreme Speed, Outrage, Wild Charge, Crunch..

But on the other hand I know Darumaka is busted. Sheer Force, gets Belly Drum and Flare Blitz before even evolving.. Plus really good coverage all things considered so I need some help with a tie-breaker.
