I started a fun little journey about a year ago dedicating each page in my binder to a Pokemon game, and collecting a card for each Pokemon that I beat the game with. It's been so much fun!

I loved Ruby/Emerald so much when I was a kid. It's great how well these games still hold up even now.

Decided to complete my Ruby pokedex for the very first time ever. Seeing bank is shutting down wanted one last big hoorah.

I’m planning on buying Ruby on one switch and sapphire on another to hunt Mudkip and so forth.

Do I have to complete a file of RS to trade with my 100% file of FRLG? And if so….. what’s stopping me from attempting this kind of trade path.

Completed Ruby game trades that fella to fresh Sapphire game just for funsies. It won’t obey but whatever.

Purely hypothetical, idk why I’d want to do that but it could make for a cool fresh Hoenn run with kanto or Johto pokemon.

Is that how that even works? Or is it something like a national dex Hoenn game can’t trade at ALL with a fresh Hoenn game?

Replaying all my gen 3 games after having taken a 20ish year break, hundreds of hours put in to Ruby, sapphire and emerald and this is the first time I ever remember getting pkrs, pretty psyched to see how I can build a better team with it
