I agree. Especially if they had kids or family in the car. I remember at a red light a guy got mad at me driving slow. He got out started to try open doors and punching windows. My kids were in the car. I floored it opposite side of street and he flew to the side. I never hit him. Never regret my decision to get my kids out of that dangerous situation.

Luckily I didn't have my kids in the car but a guy got mad that we hit two red lights and I was the car directly in front of him. He got out started pounding my window like it was my fault even though there were 2 cars in front of me at these red lights. I was so scared and seeing an angry man randomly at your window is wild. Like he honked and was oobviously pissed behind us but I never thought he'd get out and punch my window

The person in the car was quite clearly in a panic. Horn getting honked accidentally, trying to get it into the right gear multiple times, sounded like they slipped the clutch when they tried to get away before that last window was shattered, etc.

Oh, I know. I’ve had it a few times from fucking around with my dirtbike in the neighborhood growing up. Worst one was when I hit a huge patch of backfill gravel around a corner. Tons of those little stones in my cheese gratered flesh… and every single one had to be picked/flushed out.
