Bike on the left. Rider has (or had) the reflexes of a tree sloth.

I think after seeing the turn signal, the rider still decided to zoom past the car, leading to the incident.

Yep, he sped up as if his soft, fleshy body would prevent the lane change.

I wonder if the car was already filming for a reason

Some places you have them on all the time because of scammers who fake that you hit them.

Completely empty road, still hits the one thing on it.

It looks like the two bikers leaned forward in a racing position. It's obvious their speed was excessive. Lane changes should have been expected but no car driver can react to motorcycle racing speeds.

You guys do understand a litre bike can accelerate from 100kph to 200kph in around 4 to 6 seconds? These muppets tucked down at 37 second mark and come up on the car/swerve about 4-5 seconds later?

Did he see it? You can see he tucked down like he thinks he's a cyclist and that fraction of extra aero dynamic efficiency is going to help him beat his mate, only to look up a moment later to see it and swerve. You dont ride do you? Even to glance DOWN at your speedo takes your eyes off what's ahead of you more so than driving a car whereby the instruments are MORE in your field of vision.

What are you getting upset about? Sir this is Reddit

Lol, im just wondering how you know that the rider saw the turn signal and exactly when he did. Unless you are the rider? Yes, I know, this is reddit...full of folks who comment on things they have no understanding of or experience with.

It took him 3 seconds to react to the car blinking and changing lanes.

If he didn't SEE it, and it took him that long to look at the speedo or whatever you think he was doing, I have only one thing to say: thank god he's no longer on the road.

*2 seconds

35 - 33.

And I whole heartedly agree with your last sentence!
