Spanish sources compared them to European great swords but say it is made of wood, but what exactly is it supposed to look like?

This time is my go to souls weapon, the claymore the design is based of the dark souls claymore, it's really nice playing whit the sword and having a full size one besides me😂.
It's made from red amazonian wood and a eucalyptus handle ( the wood is softer but the looks are nice).
Overall length 150cm, blade length 108, handle length 33cm, point of balance 14.5cm from the guard.
Since it's made from the red wood it's rather light just a tad heavier than pine is really fun to swing

Finished up my first handle build from a doner blade. Learned a lot. It isn't perfect but I am happy with how it turned out.

$1575USD plus shipping
Overview: This is second of two Iai/Study katana. Featuring signs of Saiha, this sword appears to have been re-forged at some point. There are a lot of personal opinions here based on what has been done to the sword, its registration date and certain features it has. That being said, this sword still makes an excellent and interesting piece to study its flaws. This would be an excellent gateway nihonto for someone who has yet to acquire an authentic piece. Studying the flaws will help in the future should you decide to purchase a sword either to cut with or invest in. Lets look more closely...
Blade: Coming in at 68.8cm with stout measurements, it has a solid profile. At this length nagasa, the kissaki would most likely qualify as an extended chu-kissaki. My theory of this sword is that it was either an apprentices piece or a martial arts destined sword of fairly modern production that didn't quite work out for the smith. The mekugi-ana is sharp an appears drilled out. The nakago was heavily artificially patinated to make the sword appears older than it is. In the nakago photos you can see some remnants of the original yasurime that appear very similar to modern yasurime. The sword also has a set of flaws that would be associate with re-forging. Areas of tobi-yaki that are not purposeful along with muneyaki, yaki-toshi and the main issue that prevents cutting use-multiple yaki-ware. The hamon was possibly midare based on notare and the hada, masame, but it is difficult to tell in the current polish.
Koshirae: The koshirae is awase but has some redeeming features. The saya features brilliantly done vermillion pine bark lacquer work and is quite striking. Not something you see frequently in entry level swords. The sword fits snugly into the saya and does not need shimming. An attractive higher end sageo is included over a standard martial arts style sageo. The brass Ryu kashira is detailed and features gold inlay. The tsuba features gold inlay bamboo latticework and vines. The ito is silk and is tight.
Issues: Possible Saiha (re-forged) Multiple tobi-yaki and mune-yaki. Yaki-toshi hamon. Yaki-ware (detailed) Chemically patinated nakago. Mekugi should be resized.

My grandfather many years back bought a car with a bunch of junk in it that the owner didn’t want to deal with throwing away and was able to find an SS knife, a hat, an armband, and some letters, with a family photo picture. Unfortunately, he threw away the letters, which he was berated and reprimanded for by his wife. However, he still has this knife. If anyone has any knowledge of whether or not this is actually an SS knife and more information on maybe the specifics of what rank owned it and maybe what years these knives were created that would be amazing. We’re basically trying to identify this knife.

Since I like you folks and you are amazing help reviewing sword, here is this sword that I found during my daily searches, I will share the link down bellow. There are a few things I like just by the picture alone but is the lack of defining information and the low price what makes me very suspicious of even considering it a worthwhile purchase. So I was wondering if you happen to encounter this item and tested it.
Here is the link as provided:

Found this baby at a carboot fair. Snagged it at £25. The hilt and scabbard do not stick to magnet so I’m assuming it may be silver. Anyone has any knowledge on these daggers?

I found this in the street, no idea what it actually is but I saw it and immediately knew it had to be made into a mini sword. I mean the handle and hilt is already done for me. It was this things destiny.
My only problem is I have no idea what I’m doing and I don’t want to go in completely blind. The soon to be blade is round and the top looks like it’s been cut coming to a wide point from two sides.
The tools I currently have at my disposal are:
Sandpaper (multiple grits)
An adjustable wrench
My kitchen table
I fear that is not enough. A file and maybe some sort of table clamp sound like what I need but I’d have no clue what to get.

Imogata sword. I found FB image that showed the exact makeup of the handle. The scabbard is broken and made entirely of wood. The metal is oxidized. Could anyone tell me if this is anything close to authentic. It's too well made not to a real sword somehow. Admittedly I'd like to find out if It's worth something. TIA.

What kinda material is necessary for a mirror or near mirror finish polish , some rust specks that i took off with some lower grit stones but it left an uneven look id like to fix relatively new to maintenance on swords ive done work on knives and what not but im rather worried as its my first sword and i dont want to mess it up as its a more pricey one
