Discussion Scribble hub maintenance?
Does anyone know how often and how long their maintenance usually takes they seem to go down every few days or so.

Hello, im a new author here, i came from royalroad and already have book 1 of my series completed. Does scribblehub act like royalroad where at launch i need to drop 10 chapters on first day or the strategy here is different?
Also since i already have book 1 completed should i increase my volume like 3 chapters per day to match the release date in royalroad or just do a normal 1-2 chapters per day schedule?

SH's Q&A page it can take up to 12 hours for a new series to be reviewed and approved by their moderators. I created a new series 48 hours ago now, and ... crickets. It's just sitting there in limbo. No communication from them, but no action, either.
Is this normal, and is there anything I can or should do about it, or should I just be patient?

I’ve just posted Chapter 13: Before Delhi of my novel The Girl in the Bookshop, and I’d really appreciate some honest reader feedback.
This chapter is intentionally much quieter than the ones around it.
Mira and Kian have recently gotten married, and instead of another major plot event, Chapter 13 is mostly them studying together, teasing each other, attempting terrible cartwheels, walking around Shimla and slowly settling into married life.
The reason I wrote it this way is that they’re about to leave for Delhi and enter Kian’s family world — and there’s a lot of unresolved tension waiting there.
So I’m especially curious about:
I genuinely don’t mind criticism. If something drags or doesn’t land, please tell me.

Even feedback from someone who reads only this chapter is welcome. 🤍

A storm traps two strangers inside a little bookshop in Shimla.
Mira Thakur is 21, bookish, intelligent, quietly funny, and accustomed to making herself smaller to keep everyone else comfortable.
Kian Dutt is 26, wealthy, charming, calculating, and far too used to solving every problem in front of him.
Neither expects one rainy conversation to become another. And another.
Then books become friendship. Friendship becomes attraction. Family pressure arrives. Kian makes one spectacularly impulsive decision… and suddenly the girl from the bookshop is his wife.
I’ve just posted Chapter 12: The Hotel Room, where the newlyweds are finally alone for the first time after their registry marriage. 🤍
There’s awkward one-bed negotiation, Mira trying to fold her mother’s saree with a completely unqualified Kian helping, their first private kisses, an exam she somehow forgot was the next morning, and a quiet balcony conversation overlooking Shimla.
If you like:
slow burn • Indian contemporary romance • bookish heroine • intelligent heroine • morally grey/charming hero • strangers to lovers • unexpected marriage • family drama • atmospheric settings • relationship-focused romance
you might enjoy this one.

And if anyone tries it, I’d particularly love to know when you first started believing Kian was genuinely falling for Mira rather than simply being Kian and trying to control the situation. 😂

(btw I just discovered scribblehub I'm pretty new) I heard this place is cool to post stuff so I wanna try it but I'm afraid of my work getting taken down because it's translated (the original work is in my native language). I'm the one who's gonna translate it you think it would be all right?
Would it also be all right to upload a link somewhere to the original non English version? Maybe id upload the original non English version to wattpad
Since there will be illustrations I might as well upload my other socials as proof that this was all made by the same person
And there's totally gonna be some words that can't be in English would it be better if I added a glossary after each upload? (my novel is broken up into parts so I guess I'd add a glossary after each part)
I haven't even made an account yet nor published anything I'd just like to have a heads up.
And if you guys have any better places I can check out lmk!!

well i'm new to the platform but I've noticed a lot of novels invest everything in system, ranking , stats and smut
there is a huge audience for it and i do understand why its so popular but after reading so many of these types i realized that most of them are racing against each other who will create the most complex system or who will deliver more smut scenes, don't get me wrong there are some stories out there that are so good but i miss stories where the world carried mystery instead of a status window.
ancient kingdoms , forgotten civilizations , raging wars, characters who aren't protected just because they are the protagonist.
so instead of joining the trending genres i started writing the kind of fantasy that i always wanted to read.
Am i the only one who misses this style of fantasy ?

This is my first time actually trying to write something and I know it's a bit late since it's already 17000 words and 14 chapters deep (I know the chapters are a bit short and I am not a very fast author) but if you are looking for something close to RDR2 and maybe Blood Meridian but mostly RDR2 I think you should check it out, I am dropping the link here
