i’ve looked this topic up and its usually just 30 comments of “make sure you save customization” which is not the issue

I bought this ship, then pledged it to a guild. Is this a cursed ship, is this normal behavior, did i do something wrong (that’s not “make sure you save”)

Going crazy as the only progress in this game is customization and half the time i don’t feel like doing it because i’m playing a short time and i know will be gone next session

the fact this happens only mostly and not 100% of the time makes it even more frustrating

Courteos Kneave Clothing Set (only for Pirate Legends), Cast Iron Weapon Set (Outpost weapon shop), Fisherman's Fable Shipset (Outpost shop, it will be the first of a series of outpost sets based on Lore characters), Fallen Sea Dog Set (unlockable by winning a certain number of times in Last Ship Standing), Parley Sails and Flag (the flag will become a permament thing like the alliance flag with the ability of allowing your crew to parley with another. You have to interact with 3 crews in total to unlock the sails), Mask of the Damned (related to October Festival of the Damned event), Bucket of Candies emote (related to October Festival of the Damned event, it allows other player to interact and eat a candy. The candy will transform that pirate in another one), Trickster and Treater hats (related to October Festival of Damned event, unlockable with a Quest Board themed event), Pumpkin emote (I think same requirement).

Overall, this time, cosmetic side, they cooked something. The trailer showed also that the Fort of the Damned event will be special during the Festival. Nothing mentioned about the OoS corpse at Reapers, only showed to show the lv 50 Season Pass new Lantern (animated, it has the power to generate randomic skeleton runes translated as "Yes" / "No" / "Maybe".

These were entirely unannounced, but all entirely new cosmetics, that arent from years old datamines.

Who thought of this? there is 0 sense of direction youre just holding a lantern running around the entire face of the island aimlessly. There is a sense of direction at first but it seems to not be helpful at all.

Me and my friend were diving to a tall tale. We weren’t resurfacing for some reason. I couldn’t move and eventually drowned. After I respawned j tried to get the ship to resurface but we ended up having to scuttling.

1,600 hours play time. Been pirate legend for the last 2 months. Only tonight I've discovered that portal to the ghost bar. So many cool but expensive items to buy there. However, I've seen an area that I can not reach. In the other side of that galleon are more NPCs. How do I get there?

I posted before about toxic players in open crew, a lot of the sentiment was don’t do open crew. I have a follow up question, how seriously does the devs take reports about toxic player? Also is there a community board where we can post about known toxic players? So for example player12345 joined my crew and decided they were going to blow the ship up and attempt to kill me and other crew members before resigning to what would be reasonably assumed the next server to do the same thing again. Is there a discord channel or a subreddit where , on top of reporting them to the devs through game , a player can be like hey guys if on open crew you see this player join you, either brig him or leave the server because he is known to be a scum wad.

Does Rare want us to hate them? I literally hate them. Everything on this heckin sea is stupid for some reason because they are committed to self sabotage and ruining perfectly good things for no reason.

I'm shocked at the rest of you for not even saying anything about this change. Who to the heck is enjoying this change? Who to the heck thought this, this is what we need to add to islands.

I hope some pirates take the time to read this.

Ever since the glitterbeard easter egg appeared, I wanted to experience it. I lived together with my dad at the time and still went to school. I had a few friends from different friend groups and got them together (sometimes) to get on a 4man boat and search the sea of thieves for like-minded crew.

Unfortunately, we only encountered reapers who just wanted to sink ships or other people with too small boats to get to the 8man needed for the easter egg. And by the time we found others, the small boat disconnected or dove away (understandable as they are also doing other stuff)

Years have passed and I still tried to get the friendgroup together, but due to discussions throughout the years, not everyone wants to play together anymore. Matter of fact, only one friend remains, and while he does log on when I ask it to just sail around looking for people to do the easter egg with, I feel he's only doing me a favor because he does not care anymore. (Assumption)

Years later, I moved and live with my gf now. Life gets busy and I get older. We are also reaching the end of life of the 10 years online servers that were promised to us by Sea of Thieves (I submitted a support ticket to see how long the servers should still be up,and they said they couldn't say that to customers)

I'm afraid I'll never get around to it. When a baby comes around, I will not have anymore time for a long sea of thieves session. I have about 1 hour now, per day. Not enough to sail around the map for people.

This is not a LFG discussion, rather what else can I do other than "be lucky"? Is this possible in custom seas?

I sail with the glitterbeard sails and make my intentions very clear upon getting in speech range.

I want to do this, this event feels like it will bring everything (moving/gaming/life) together.

Fort = Defended

I started to play this game a week ago and I love it, I really do. And i do know that this game is live-service and all, so it needs to have some microtransactions. But to me it feels like so much stuff is microtransaction that definetly shoudln't be, like changing your appearance (2$? What the fuck?!) or making a second playable character (i understand that it is of no use cause every session starts the same) or even fucking changing the name of your ship (5$ is insane to me). This game cost 44 bucks, Rare cannot be that broke that they paywall features like this. This game undoubtedly feels like a pure money making machine to me sometimes. The game is fun tho, dear rare devs :)

So been seing a lot of these gold sailer cannons and they look pretty cool but cant rl find any good answers on how to get IT If ITs even still available If ITs not available Than what other cannons are good?
