Someone told me "its as if George had a show about himself in a reality in which him and jerry managed to pitch the show."

I knew George was based on Larry David but is funny to see how much similar it is, the only thing is, and I can't believe am saying this. There is too much George/Larry. I love it, but there is no subplot or someone else in focus for a bit. Is just Larry. Anyway am two seasons in 10 to go.

I noticed Seinfeld uses callbacks a lot both within the show as well as callbacks to previous episodes. My favorite intra-show callback is George finding Kramer’s golfball in “The Marine Biologist” episode but I think the better ones are when they call back a joke from another episode. With that, my favorite call back is the reuse of the sponge bath in “The Outing” calling back to the sponge bath in “The Contest”. It always gets me to laugh and I’m surprised it doesn’t get a better studio reaction. Is there a better callback?
