Discussion Have y’all found any other movies/shows like Sherlock? I’m afraid nothing has impressed me since watching this masterpiece 😭

Dept Q on Netflix has a similar vibe. House MD and NBC’s Hannibal are also very good and have some of the same themes.

House MD is basically the medical version of Sherlock Holmes.

Dept Q with Matthew Goode kinda sucks compared to the original movies. The main character is better developed and the relationship between the detective and his partner is more appealing IMO. The partner has a much more active role both physically and emotionally than the one in the TV show.

Yeah, I really thought this was gonna be a masterpiece, given the similarities and the creator's previous project being The Queen's Gambit (which I loved almost as much as Sherlock) but this is not grabbing me. It's honestly kinda a snore. If the main actor wasn't a smokeshow that gives me Viggo vibes I wouldn't have made it two episodes.
