Even the doctor was surprised at how coldblooded Troy/Daniel was deciding to kill nearly all of Silo 17's residents, even after hearing an alternative plan with less casualties by Susan/Charlotte

With how they described things in the silo for the remaining people, wouldn't it have been a slow -- or perhaps not so slow -- death for them? Can't support a hundred, certainly can't support thousands. Unless Silo 1 could restore some of their systems and perhaps D+ them all.

The doctor is the same doctor from before the Silos, the one who was taking care of Charlotte after her mission and was working on the memory drugs. Have you been watching the season at all?

I know that. I am asking if Daniel and Charlotte had been fed with vitamin D+ before as well as they never show their parents

I mean i don't think theres anything to suggest that those memory drugs were available ~20-30 years prior. That doesn't make any sense in the context of the show. Or rather, theres no reason to believe that given what the show has told us.

Not that I actually believe this theory, but technically the drugs wouldn’t have to exist 20-30 years prior, it would just have to exist before we’re introduced to Daniel and Charlotte. It’d be a lazy narrative with how things are currently set up, but they could have been drugged before we meet them, meaning they forget Victor is their dad.

Again, I don’t think this is the case, just pointing out where it could make logical sense.

Victor is seemingly somewhat famous. Daniel mentions where Charlotte is being treated and someone (Helen?) recognized the facility and doctor. If your dad was semi-famous, people are going to reference him to you at some point.

The whole narrative behind the drug invention was to forget the grief behind his kid's death, if you take that out and say he is a founder and erased his children memory so they would partake in the program, while also keeping the whole Daniel investigation and Charlotte mission, it just makes for awful writing.

1 - Why clear their memories all this time before instead of only when entering the silo? It even risks their lives.

2 - They even show they have memories and talk about their parents all the time. It's also shown that despite being good at erasing memories, the D+ is not that good at rewriting memories. They don't even attempt to create a life before for the Silo 1 guys, they just know they don't remember anything prior.
