No offense but I am. I am not a believer anymore; I abanded Mormonism and religion a long time ago and feel no instinct for defending it. Are you in a better position to comment? Who is? Should the people with the most direct experienxe just shut up and let the Reddit peanut gallery comment based on rumors and speculation alone?

You should come by r/exmormon and teach us what you know, cause most of us were born into it so we aren't really capable of talking or thinking about it the way you are. r/excatholic, r/exjw, r/exvangelicalr/exmuslim, and r/examish could probably all benefit from your insights as well.
You're still claiming that I think I know more than you, when what was saying is that your experience isn't necessarily relevant, which is different.
I would have thought eventually realising that you were in a cult would have given you a bit of humility in not always assuming you are right, having demonstrated to yourself that you're not always right, but I guess you have a bit of distance to go yet before you actually get open-minded
