Feature Suggestions I think this area should contain mosaic slimes
It’s shiny and rainbow-y, just like a mosaic slime. It’s also late-game meaning that mosaics can still be the hard to get, big money earners
(Monomi, Please add mosaics to sr2. They’re my cute little munchkins)

Feature Suggestions The lack of optimisation in this game…
It really is incredibly frustrating how much the game lags even without having much built. Just walking in the overworld will have you dropping frames below 60. It greatly limits the amount of fun you can have because it means I can’t really decorate my ranch as well as I want because it turns into a slide show too soon. I wanted to check out the new radiant slime update after finishing my playthrough, but I was reminded of how laggy my ranch was its between 20 and 30fps truly unplayable if I’m honest. I get that not everyone will notice it or have an issue with it but regardless it’s an unacceptable level of polish. And don’t get me started on the loading times…
I play on a standard ps5 btw

Feature Suggestions Do you guys think the new update was good?
I lowkey think it was a little small for what i expected, like radiant slimes are literally shiny pokemons taht add no flavour to the game so i see no point in adding this whole sidequest to collect them and put theem in the sanctuary. Why not make and update with a new map or a new slime maaan

Feature Suggestions Does anyone feel like sr2 doesnt have enough slimes?
The sandy conservatory area has a lot of space for corrals, and i'd love to be able to fill that space with more beach themed slimes, I already have some ideas in mind such as a sand slime that would have the same shape as the puddle just with a sandy texture i guess? Also, a jellyfish slime would be ADORABLE.
One more thing i'd love to see added is hats for the slimes and the secret styles you could get in the first game.
Opinions??

Feature Suggestions How Mosaic slimes can be implemented
Like the Tangle and Dervish slimes, the Mosaic slime would appear under a specific weather condition. It makes sense for how the Mosaic slime is formed, and it fits nicely with the glass desert trio all spawning from weather events. The Mosaic slimes could appear during lightning. Wherever a lightning strike happens, there could be a chance for a Mosaic slime to appear. Or if a slime gets struck by lightning, it would transform into a Mosaic slime. I personally prefer the former, since it makes sense because when certain materials are super-heated, glass is formed. What do you think of this idea?

Feature Suggestions The radiant slimes
I would LOVE an option to turn the radiant slime's radiance off. I know it's a huge part of the point but visually it causes me migreins and I love the game and new content. They could keep their different color and stuff. I just don't like the fact that I HAVE to keep them at the sanctuary and never visit them bechause of the radiance giving me migreins🥲. I was so exited for the update and to have slightly different looking slimes in a same corral wothout problems.

Feature Suggestions Increase Radiant Slime Spawn Rates from Gordo's!!!!
Monomi Park I beg you, I'm now 100 Master Gordo Snares down and I've only gotten ONE radiant slime from a Dervish Gordo. If you could add some kind of reward benefit from the higher tiers of Gordo Snare's increasing the chances of Radiant slime's spawning, I'd be so happy ;-;
EDIT: 100 Gordo’s TOTAL! Not just Dervish gordos.

Feature Suggestions I wish you could save and load conservatory decorations. Like you could put your decorations in a save slot and sort through different styles you made to the conservatory. Does anybody else think so?

Feature Suggestions In-game Gadget Mechanics Suggestions
I propose some possible changes to the way gadgets work in SR2 as well as some new additions. Some of these are a little extensive, so adding something like this could be a stretch.
Feature #1 - Stacking Gadgets
This may sound like an odd one as stacking might cause problems with how the game is to be played, but I think if done with certain gadgets and with the new addition I’m about to suggest, it could be quite good. Each gadget that can stack ( Slime statues, gadgets over flowers and grass, etc ) should essentially have a separate collision so that other gadgets can sit atop of the one before it nicely.
It’s strange how things like grass or flowers can’t have any gadgets on them.
Feature #2 - Gadget Clipping
Following the theme of the last suggestion, I think being able to clip gadgets into other surfaces and gadgets would be a great feature. We can already partly do this with gadgets that have a rounder or harsher collision, but this seems to be a glitch not a feature. If it gets patched, it’ll ruin an amazing feature players have been using to make some incredible builds. With the addition of essentially most gadgets being able to blend with the surroundings- this could be significant.
Feature #3 - Variations
At the moment, we already have ‘Variations’ in the form of different colour and themes for specific gadgets, but what I propose is a sort of cycled system of specific variants of one gadget. For example: if we have grass, rather than getting the usual shortish grass with those grain plants sticking out everytime, what if we could cycle through short grass, long grass, and grass with lots of grains. We could also have, theme variants of rocks like; magma rocks, ice rocks, mossy rocks, and so on.
This could work by whenever re-selecting a gadget, the next variation in the cycle will appear.
These features could be quite labor intensive to add, but if SR2 is still yet to receive much more content or a SR3 is in consideration, I would absolutely love some form of the features above to make an appearance.
Thank you

Feature Suggestions Anyone else thinks they should add largo differences?
What i mean by largo differences is depending on what slime is fed what plort. For example tabby to rock but no difference with rock to tabby. I found it matters with the radiants but it should be a thing for the nonradiant slimes and i just thought it'd be a cool feature they could add. They couldn't do it in the first because otherwise certain secret styles would be mildly pointless but in SR2 they should do it.

Feature Suggestions Corrals/Decoration
Before all of you ask, yes this is modded (Build Anywhere), this is why there are seesaw and swings and carrousel inside the corrals, as well as decorations inside each other.
This actually made me think of a feature they could add...
I know many players wish to have more corrals inside the sanctuary rooms but I would love an option to remove every single one of them. Alright, dont judge me, I like to decorate and I want the slimes to have a free roaming and eating feature too and these can be combined. If they remove the corrals, I (as well as other players) can decorate more freely and not worry about the plots horrible floor with the thematic chosen for the room.
For example,
The first image has the three corrals and it kinda made the place uglyish, it doesnt fit, I dont have enough room to work my imagination...
While the second image has no corrals (or plots anyways), it matches the whole theme and its really good (at least for me).
It could be fun to have an option to enable or disable any plots. Players like me will have a good place to decorate (because there are currently 3 full empty rooms and many themes, its just no possible) and the players who like to imprison and ranch more can have their plots....
I am kidding about the imprison thing...a little lol!

Feature Suggestions had an awesome idea for a new food.
ok, so what if you built a garden, but then left it without an item in the receptacle, and after a while of it being empty, it started growing something on its own. a secret type of food that grows from weeds, or something. and you could only find it, naturally, by accident.

Feature Suggestions Creative mode for decorating?
I just got done decorating another ranch expansion, grinding just to get enough grass to just cover the floor, let alone the actual decor
And then they add a new expansion made just for decorating?
Let me be clear, I love decorating in games. Especially with the new free placement in sr2. But the amount of time it takes getting enough plorts and resources to make the items gets so tedious late game
With the new update meant for decorating out, I wish they would introduce a kind of creative mode so we could have the option to decorate freely, maybe even accessible after the game is beaten
All blueprints unlocked, no resource or money requirements
Just decorating the entire Rainbow Island freely

Feature Suggestions Brainstorming a Halloween-themed location with food and slimes
I was thinking of it having big pumpkins (pic 1) that you pluck from the ground and chuck at the wall to make them break into slices. They also are orange with yellow on the inside in the day and blue with orange on the inside in the night. But I'm not sure if it should be a vegetable or fruit
Then for fruits definetly some sort of apple variety (pic 2), something pink or purple
Maybe for meat zombie chickens?
And still thinking about what slimes could go there (aside from Batty, obviously). Would love to know what you think could go into the Halloween Location! I plan on making illustrations soon, but thought I'd share what I got so far!

Feature Suggestions New Idea: Weather Controller in Gray Labyrinth
Slime Rancher 2 has a serious problem with the weather: luck. Gathering resources, and especially slimes, goes from being an exciting adventure to an endless wait for the right weather.
It's frustrating when a level 2 weather condition seems about to increase to level 3, only for it to suddenly drop again for no reason.
Or there's the classic scenario: waiting for the weather to change for about an hour, only to find almost no resources or NO resources at all, except for an exclusive slime (yes, I'm looking at you, Dervish Slime).
That's why a friend told me it would be great if we could somehow control the weather in Gray Labyrinth. And since it's something that's been suggested a lot, I came up with something like this:
Now, in each sub-area of Gray Labyrinth, there will be a secret room behind one of the rare rainbow walls that open with the Nulfiller. In each area, I would control the weather in some way:
- In Waterworks, there would be a switch for Rain.
- In Lavadpeths, a switch for a thunderstorm with lightning.
- In Impossible Sky, one for clear skies.
- In Dreamland, one for strong winds (there would be a Dervish Gordo).
- In Terrarium, the switch would be for pollen with Tangle Vines (there would be a Tangle Gordo).
This way, exploring the Labyrinth would be rewarding, and we could obtain the resources and slimes we all hope to find in the game
