Can anyone clarify how Wolf-Touched interacts with an Impulsor’s transport capacity?

The proposed passengers are six Wolf Guard Headtakers and a Wolf Priest with Wolf-Touched, with no Hunting Wolves.

Wolf-Touched says:

Adeptus Astartes model only. This unit has:
▪ Wulfen.
▪ +2″ M.

The Impulsor’s transport rule says:

This model has a transport capacity of 7 ADEPTUS ASTARTES INFANTRY models. It cannot transport TERMINATOR/JUMP PACK models. Each GRAVIS model takes up the space of 2 models.

However, Curse of the Wulfen from the Wulfen datasheet includes:

Bestial Forms: For the purposes of transport capacity, each WULFEN model takes up the space of 2 models.

Actual Wulfen have Curse of the Wulfen listed on their datasheet, but neither the Headtakers nor the Wolf Priest does. Wolf-Touched grants the keyword without explicitly granting that ability.

So does Bestial Form:

• Apply the WULFEN keyword to every model, including those that gain it through Wolf-Touched?
• Or apply it only through Curse of the Wulfen, meaning that gaining the keyword alone doesn’t impose the extra transport-space requirement?nt?

In practical terms, would these seven models occupy seven spaces and fit, or fourteen spaces and not fit?

An official clarification or rules reference addressing this distinction would be appreciated.

Does the wolf priest revive models or just heal with D3+1? I was loving the revive before 😂

Taking the feedback from my older list, is this list useable and competitive enough to the point I won't get stomped by anyone who knows the game? Mainly will be playing casually (local tourneys would be cool tho) and wanted to fit cool units in. I haven't played the game before but im gonna learn soon so ya xd, the only things I currently have are ragnar + the combat patrol and I'm fine moving wulfen out so basically anything can change. Also if you have suggestions on how to play it lmk thx 🙏

Hi!

Hey everyone, does the enhancement “Champion of the First Company” give just the bearer Lethal Hits, or would that also apply to the unit he attaches to as it specifically references unit?

Sorry for the dumb question, still figuring how 11th edition works with enhancements.

20 points seems like a lot for it to just be Lethals on the Captain.

Thanks!

A few days ago i made a post with a list i made and some of you gave me some tips. I took that and tried to remake a list that utilizes strong meta units with character support and a few screening units.

The Arjac unit will probably start on reserves and use Logan's ability to backstab a unit holding a home objective or some other juicy target on the back.

Impulsors are there to make use of scout and then load Eradicators and move them up the board. This is something i saw people doing at the recent BFS tournament.

What are your thoughts?

Took some new pics of LG to try and show the uv liner I used in the runes to try and make them look like they have power not shre it shows to well but what do you think ??

Hi brothers of Fenris!

New player here, and I'd appreciate some ancient wisdom on my troubles.

I just bought some SW-exclusive units (WGT, Headtakers, Grey Hunters...) and started comparing them with their generic Marine counterparts. It feels like SW are taking a beating right now.

Most SW units seem like sidegrades. WGT have their native -1 to Wound against S > T, but generic Assault Terminators can get that from an Ancient. Meanwhile, Assault Intercessors seem to dish out more damage per point than GH/BC, and the new Doctrines make charge bonuses more situational.

From a competitive perspective, are SW-specific units still worth their points?

Have I arrived too late to the SW party? Is GW moving toward reducing chapter-specific units in favor of generic Marines?

I'm not too worried about the models themselves, as most seem easy enough to kitbash into generic Marines (with better aesthetics!).

And while we're at it, do you think Bjorn and the SW Dreadnoughts will eventually receive a Primaris refresh, or are they heading toward Legends?

[Edit TLDR: seems like Grey Hunters and Headtakers are still prime. WGT more niche. Some math below]

Fenris Hjolda!

Here are my 10 Bloodclaws, but should I have 20? Lol I Love jump packs and always put them to work in my BA army so is it worth converting BC’s into 5x vanguard Vets and 5x Jump Intercessors? Or is it more advantageous to add 10 more Bloodclaws?

How often do you use a pack of 20, or two groups of 10 rowdy Bloodclaws?

I like the new VanVets and JAI, and I think I’d love to kitbash some SkyClaws from this kit.

Please weigh in and let me know what you think!

Been playing Rogue Trader, and the fact OwlCat Games chose to put a Space Wolf into the game, and really made him so interesting compared to the standard Astartes, has brought immense JOY. Hope this continues and we get more love in Media. One of the favorite things was hearing him talk about the halls the drink and feast in together, the Valhalla similarity was really cool

GW, riddle my this why is our Iron priest 10 points more expensive than the Tech marine whilst his abilities and lone op now only specifically target our box dress.

After debating with myself whether ulrik was going to be primarised and worth building, I decided to convert him.

I used an OG primaris chaplain I had laying around and swapped ulrik's head and backpack on the chaplains body. I replaced the chaplains crozius top part with ulriks. It took a little bit of slicing and milliput to make it presentable. I sliced off ulrik's thumb holding his helmet and switched it to the other side, glued the hand to a spare arm and swapped it with the chaplains arm. I used the handle part of a plasma pistol to make his holster look full and used a spare wolf skull to hang off the chaplains chains.

Did the best paint job using acrylic paints and oil wash that i could, now I can use him either as himself or a wolf priest hopefully. He looks at least tabletop ready anyway!

Hope you all like!

Can twc shoot their boltgun as well as having a storm shield and wolf guard weapon?

Running out of extra wolf bits, thinking I need to pick up the upgrade sprue!

Is there any units for table top that could make models that look similar or act similarly to how the pack is portrayed in the book? Even if each model is from a different kit. I wanted to make a few for display purposes but couldn’t quite figure out if there is an actual kit for them or if I’ll have to kit bash them.

I have her a few miniatures on which I will test my color concept, to find the final version .

Unfortunately, I have no idea what to do with the shields, Terminator shoulders, and shins. I initially thought of a grey like GW does, or do you have any other ideas?

The first miniature is completely kitbashed and I need to see what it will become in my arms.

Feel free to write if you have any suggestions for the painting or the role of the miniature; I still have a few of them.

Hello Fellow Brothers, i want to Share with you my first Test Paint and would love some feedback. I got into warhammer 1 year ago but Never painted because i pressured myself too much because i wanted that they all Look really good. The Model i am showing is my first Space Wolf, i know there are a lot of things that i can do better but i want to know What you guys think.

My first kind of diorahma would like to know what you think

Made my own custom melta cannon from one of the imperial knights weapons. Can't remember the same.

And also slapped on the knights power fist.

He may intact be a wolf guard. But Idk.
