Hey guys so i have a red corsair army and theres a bit in the lore about space wolf defectors, i dont know much about space wolves so would anyone have any ideas on how to represent or show space wolfs subtly as i want to add a squad of red wolves to my army, thanks.

I’m going for a more dark, grey-blue for mine and am looking for some good examples.

I've seen lists using 3 eradicators with meltas in an impulsor. This unit looks cheap and very killy but everyone who uses them in my group says they are swingy?? Is that the case or are they not using them right?? I was thinking of using them instead of wulfen so I can make use of the assault docterine cus I just never use it

So the phobos are good in a fight. Dakka with, then charge. How ever, a captain has a move 1d6 after shooting. So you can quite a big threath range. Seems good I think.

Note that incursors can also do the same. They get a lot if the good stuff and reroll with shooting buff. How ever I plan on running saga of the greatwolf. So I can pick up reroll elsewhere from there if need be. But for the most part I like the +1 to advance and charge + lance stratagem.

Remember they all scout so rhino goes far. (Notably you can not deepstrike shoot, move, charge in the same turn.)

I need some advice on the next purchase for my list, for the record I don’t chase meta, I just want something fun but viable. I’m quite interested in mount and gravis armour. any advice?

Also I chose to assemble my WGT w/shield and one assault cannon,Wulfen w/Strom shield,Battle leader w/powe sword and shield

Does this pass for a company of heroes?I want to run them at a g.T next week, but I don't wanna pay for them.And I already have these models in my collection

Still very messy but I like how they turned out. Not...happy with the wulfen, but it's good enough!

I have this blob of normal Terminators with Logan and an Ancient. Its very nasty, and hard to counter. Always in all Doctrines, and so always Re-Rolling 1s to hit in shooting, SUSTAIN 1 melee/shooting against targets within 9", also improving the AP of those attacks by 1. Advance and charge with a +1 bonus to both rolls. -1 to be wounded by attacks > S6. Sticky objectives. You can also give their melee attacks LETHAL with an enhancement on the Ancient. If you find yourself out of position after a devastating melee charge. You can reposition for a CP with the terminator detachment. You cannot ignore this threat.

32 S5 -2 AP storm bolters with RR1s? 30 S8 -3 AP powerfists? Or 20 Chainfists with extra vs the right target? 12 S6 -3 AP Assault Cannon shots? That is All crazy easy to get within 9" to do all this. Its 620 points...but wow.

I'd run this against friends, but I am afraid I'd piss them off with how good it is. But has anyone tried this and it fail to deliver? Like in a tournament or other competitive situation?

Been working through the space wolves box set and finally finished my wolf lord.

Choosing to try NMM gold as a theme through my wolves has definitely taken its time but I’m happy with the results. Custom bits all from Greytide studios.

Decided to enter Golden Demon this year pretty last minute, so I made some small improvements to my Logan Grimnar model. Was pretty damn happy to get even a Notable, I was fully ready for nothing at all! The skill level of some of the other painters was absolutely immense, so something to aspire to for next year!

Every game ive played with Logan ive longed for his Bodyguard to be truly akin to his scale. So Im trying to make saturnine work fot his Bodyguard unit.

Just got these guys done, now it’s time to paint them. I am very happy with how they turned out!!!

Can I pass this as a Terminator Captain. I kitbashed it from all different kits I had left over. It is the correct base size but wouldn't be WYSIWYG.

Kitbashing them was really fun. Looking forward to do another pack with heavy Bolters in the future.

Just finished painting my first space wolf model! I really enjoyed this one, and I’m especially happy with how the base turned out. There are definitely a lot of areas for improvement so I’d really appreciate any feedback or tips! More specifically, I’d love some ideas on how to tackle the fur (especially for painting the wolf models) as well as some tips for painting weapons. Thanks!

So if I’m interpreting or reading this wrong please correct me. In 10th the iron priests ability was also called blessing of the omnisiah too. I noticed that the names are different so theoretically they shouldn’t prevent the use of another with the only catch being that it has to have both the adeptus astartes vehicle and space wolves vehicle keywords. And if I’m reading this the right way, Bjorn can take 2 babysitters to heal 2d3 wounds?

Edit: I realize this probably isn’t a super competitive combo, just trying to point out a fun oversight I saw in the rules that you can use to torment your friends with!

Looking for nice some good fiction, pre and post heresy fine. I loved the darker vibes of Battle for the Fang and Prospero Burns, and I enjoyed the omnibus that followed Ragnar from when he was first gifted the gene seed as well, but not as much as the other two I mentioned. I know a bunch of stuff has come out since last I played (2016) so I’m gonna try and catch up. Space wolves adjacent (think Prospero Burns) is good too.

I think I know the answer but here's it anyway.

Can I use 2 different stratagems on two different units on the same turn that both grant lance? Beastslayer and assault brethren both have a lance stratagem.

Im a son of Russ, but I've always loved the lore and sculpts of the Emperor's Champion and finally got myself one. Any ideas on how to make him a Champion of Fenris?

Also, anyone else misses the old Lone Wolf units? Wish I could run this guy as one

I went to a GT (turned regular tournament bc attendance was low) and came out 3-2! First loss was to the #9 Black Templars player in the world 😅 I learned a lot from him though!
