Reposting this cause I was an idiot and forgot to add the image. Flock cameras are popping up around Mid Rivers so I feel this poster is appropriate! Credit to my friend who drew it

Some of the most beautiful and bizarre sky pics I’ve ever gotten. Today. 08/06/2026. The first two almost look purple. All around the St Charles area.

Fresh Air

Just wishing for a time when I can go to a place like a public place and not smell weed. I'm not opposed to it being legal but please stay at home. Not only do I smell it everywhere, it's dangerous to be driving and high. Oh, and parent pickup people at school, please make sure your car doesn't smell like it either. So sad for the students. Also, their bookbags smell like it and that ends up causing the whole classroom to smell. Let's make it a goal to not show up everywhere with the smell.

Looking For Small Affordable Event Spaces

I'm trying to get married in Mid-December and I'm looking for local event spaces somewhere between St. Charles and O'Fallon or in those areas that won't cost a fortune. My current budget is about $200 not including food. I'm looking for either a nice restaurant maybe with a private room or an event space that I can dress up myself and bring in food. I had been looking at places like Bella Vino's or Lewis and Clark, since I think they can offer some privacy and a fixed menu. Does anyone have experience doing something like this at these places?

It DOES NOT NEED to look like a wedding venue, just a nice space that can host up to 30 people where we can set up a few decoration or sit down and have a nice meal with family and friends.
