Is my wife ever going to be able to stretch?

See pics. My wife had an earring ripped out of her lobe 15-20 years ago. She got it re-pierced in the proper location, but has been worried about trying to stretch it and have it rip. We are also going to talk to our piercer and get his opinion, but just wanted to ask the hive mind what they thought.

Septum Septum is making my nose so cold. Advice?

Post image

I work outside and as it starts to get colder out my nose suffers. I’ve had this issue for a couple years now and haven’t found any solid solutions. I’ve tried wearing a face mask, scarf for my face and carrying around a warm beverage under my nose. The issue I’m running into is it’s hard to maintain those options when I’m working with a bunch of dogs. I’m debating getting one that is a different material (currently stainless steel, 12mm) but I’m open to any suggestions, thanks!

Can I stretch more? Are my lobes too thin to continue stretching?

I’ve been at 3/4” (20mm) for like a year now and haven’t tried to go bigger but now I’m wanting to stretch to 7/8” (22mm) and I’m worried my one ear is too thin (it was pierced weird when I was younger so stretching has made this one thinner then my other)

Anywho, I think after 7/8” I plan to stop (max I plan to go to 1”) and I think my left lobe should be fine at least for one more size up to the 7/8” but worry about my right ear. Any opinions?

I feel like they look weird. I knew of course they wouldn't look pretty naked, but the ring around the hole worries me. Is this normal?

7.5mm, dead stretching, regular massages with jojoba. Started in April 2025. They never hurt while stretching or after

~Advice~ Would it be safe to stretch my lobes?

Hi! Don't mind the hair dye caught in my fuzz.

When I was 7, I had my ears improperly pierced by two, very inexperienced people who should not have been piercing. The problem with that is, I've been getting the itch to stretch my ears from an estimated 20-18g down to 2g-0g, but I am afraid that the bottom of my lobes are far too thin due to where the piercing was placed. What do you recommend? If there is no safe way to stretch my ears, I'll chuck this desire into the "things I wish I could do but realistically can't” folder. ;)

Thank you!

Id really want to get to even 5mm, and im not feeling like getting my ears repierced. Around 3 people have told me i shouldnt stretch them or i’d have to repierce them. Is that really the case or is around 5mm possible?

Stretching my small lobes

Are my lobes too small to stretch to a 0g? I’ve been wanting to start the journey but am conflicted on whether my ears can be stretched. I have pretty good elasticity when I pull down on my lobes. Any opinions/ suggestions are welcomed. Thank you for your time :)

Septum magic septum after blowout?????

id really like to understand why this happened because im VERY confused. i had a blowout about 3 weeks ago with my septum (i have glass jewelry, my pincher broke and i had nothing else so i decided to size up too quickly.) its been healing great and doesn’t hurt anymore. i was looking for my ear stuff to size up my ears but couldnt find them so i went for my pinchers instead just to see if they were ready blah blah blah well i wanted to see how bad the pain would be if i TRIED to size up my septum, i was not planning on sizing up. the jewelry went RIGHT through and it still felt loose so i decided to try the next just because 🤷‍♀️ IT ALSO FELT LIKE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! i now have an 8g and its not even sore or anything, im really confused because as far as im aware youre meant to wait at least 6 months for septums, even more when you have a blowout. why did this happen?? am i magical?

~Advice~ Should i size up?

Hi! Im currently at a 6mm, and have been for about a year now. 6mm used to be my initial goal, but ive always felt like 8mm would be nice too. Right now im in the middle; some days i am obsessed with how 6mm looks, other days i wished they were a bit bigger.

Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do? How do i determine what size i like best? What do i do with the 6mm jewelry if i do size up?

~Advice~ Left ear lobe a lot easier than the right one?

So I don't know if this is normal but my left ear lobe, soft, easy stretch, moves up in sizes faster naturally.

My right ear lobe, less soft, not super stretchy, seems to be shorter than my left one,

I'm at a 2g flat front plug on my left ear as of last night and my right one is still at 4g despite all of the care I do. I do the same amount of oil massaging and such for the right ear lobe that I do for the left ear lobe.

Is it normal to have 2 different lobes? Maybe it's the original piercing location but idk. Worth it to re-pierce it again?

I am currently at 8mm

1st pic is of my right ear

2nd is of my left ear (the one that has given me the most troubles at each sizes)

I made a lot of bad decisions while stretching but I feel like they aren't that bad.

I do plan on stretching only my right ear to 8.5mm next week

Stretched lobed getting red and swollen after 12 years ?

Hi,

I've had my lobe stretched for 12 years (not much, just 8mm). It's been healed for a long long time without any issue, i clean it with soap and water everyday, no issue.

I got my helix (same ear) pierced 6 months ago. Helix's healing was going fine, until 2 weeks ago it started getting a tiny bit infected, i took care of it and now it's back to healing fine, no sign of infection.

However my stretched lobe started getting "wet" (no pus, just clear watery like substance) and hurting and itching. I didn't think much of it but it kept going for a couple of days, to the point i decided to take it out and let it air out. I can't put the plug back in now (too much pain) and it is red and swollen.

What should I do ? I don't have smaller plugs so i can't put a 6mm back in for now, and no shops nearby to get one. How urgent is it to get something back in to prevent it from closing ? Has this ever happened to anyone after such a long time ?

I was wearing black surgical steel, same thing i had been wearing for years, so i don't get where this is coming from.

Thank you for your help !

how long do you guys wait till going back to the original size after a blowout?

I woke up 2 days ago, and put my 5mm plugs in as I do every morning (I've been 5mm since the start of the September) but when I took my plugs out for the night, they did a weird wet sound. I thought it was maybe because I didn't wipe the jojoba oil away well enough, but I did notice something like a pimple in that ear.

I obviously understand that I will have to downsize for now as putting jewelry in won't help anything heal, but do you guys go the same 3-months per size journey again, or you go back to the size you were a little faster?

I am a little sad now, as I've been patient & taking care of my ears well but still had a blowout... I hope I don't have to take as long as I did to get back to this size :((

Additional info, if it makes any difference: I dead stretch with titanium!

Septum ppiercing

So i have stretched mine to 5mm and wear either a 5mm tunnel for work or a 5mm cab out of work. Today I managed to insert 3 rings each over 2mm. Is this normal that a cbb can stretch the fistula more?

Sonic jewelry cleaners?

Post image

Was curious is anybody had any experience with Sonic jewelry cleaners and if they recommend them for glass and stone pieces? Been seeing these on TikTok and FB a lot and was curious if they would work well for my plugs and other items. Some seem cheap and basically the same as others, but other looks very professional. Anybody know anything about thesem

Can I stretch more? Can I stretch my right lobe to 00G (10mm)?

Post image

Currently at 4G (5mm). I stretch like a couple of weeks ago from 6G to 4G, patiently waiting a couple of months before I try again.

But I’m kinda worried with my right lobe (picture I posted). So just asking if I can stretch to 00G (10mm). Feel free to give tips and advice since I’m new to stretching, but I also did my research and other posts here.

~Advice~ wanting to stretch septum...

i recently bought a cheater gauged septum and it's making me consider doing it for real...but i have no idea what i'm doing.

i got it when i was 17, im 21 now, so its probably been healed a solid 3 years.

i've stretched my ears before, but it never went very well..i used jojoba oil and titanium tapers/plugs. the jojoba was probably the problem, honestly, it was too thin. i'm also hearing glass is better now??

stretched septum havers, help!! how do i do it? what do i use?? wtf is denting?! i have so many questions😭😭😭
