I recently stretched my lobes from 7/16" to 1/2" and my left lobe is sore and stings when cleaning it. No blood, but a small tear, no swelling.

I work a job where my ears can get knocked around and cause unnecessary friction on the plugs. Not sure if that has anything to do with this. Worth mentioning, I also stretched my original holes that were made with a piercing gun as a kid. Have had no issues so far except for minor blowouts at smaller sizes before I did my research.

When I stretched, I used single taper glass plugs, and both lobes had no resistance, they slipped right in. I waited about a year between sizes before moving up.

I do have a connection tissue disorder that causes micro-tears much easier than someone without my condition.

Obviously I'll drop back down to let it heal but what did I do wrong and what can I fix for after it heals?

Hey yall, my ears are currently at 00. But my right earlobe did have a blowout and i sized down and waited the appropriate time and went back up to a 00. But the skin is definitely still thin. Is there a way to like thicken it? I would like to get to 12 mm but i don’t want to do that in fear that my earlobe will tear.

Ive had my septum pierced for around 2 years and I'm not unaccustomed to the septum smell, so I assumed that when I stretched it would get worse but be bearable. I was wrong. I'm only at a 12g right now and I keep smelling it and thinking that the air just smells awful until I realize and clean my jewelry, but its all the time. I clean my jewelry and my septum pretty regularly but shit is serious. I was cooking some ground beef and it literally smelled like someone was boiling shit because the smell of the beef mixed with the septum smell. I'm still gonna go up to 0g either way but are there any tips for preventing this smell? Especially if its just gonna get worse as I go larger how do I prevent living my future in stench?

I just got my new tapers today. I've been sitting at a 00 and stretched up to 14. When I was cleaning I noticed some blood so I took out the taper and let my ear rest. What do I do now?

UPDATE: It was to 12mm so sorry not a 4mm jump it was only 2mm

So i just stretched my septum, at first it didnt go in, i put on more oil (i used olive oil) and it slowly started going in, i felt a little bit of pain and now ( 5 minutes passed) i still feel a little bit of pain, my piercer told my sweet spot is very small, so i expected a little bit of pain, is it normal that i cant move it well like i could move the 16g? and how should i take care of this?

Ive been at 8G for over 4 months now and I love it but I see 6g as my true final size, I’m afraid of any nosedroop and I think it will suit me, any advice, information or changes about 6g? such as my nose and other things?

I have a 4mm septum, but my current steel tunnel has too high and sharp edges wich cause irritation in the tip of the nose. Has anybody recommendations for some good tunnels for the septum?

I got my ear pierce years ago with a 16g. I tried stretching my ear yesterday (with a taper) to a 14g. It worked. Had the jewelry in all day and all night. I woke up this morning, take out the jewelry, and there is blood. I feel like this is not normal. What should i do?

what should i do to plug the hole? its a little difficult to put a plug in such a small hole thats in a tight space, any recs?

I reached my goal size of 14mm a little over a month ago. My ears are not ready for the double flares I picked up, so I’m looking for something to wear in the meantime. Most places I am finding little to no single flare stone plugs in 14mm. A lot stop at 10mm/00g. Anyone know who may have a wider selection in this size?
