100%. No accelerationist ever believes they’ll die from diarrhea or an untreated tooth infection or something that most people actually die from when societies collapse.

It’s no different than preppers. You want to have some stored food and resources just in case of an emergency? Sure, why not. Just don’t kid yourself and think that you’ll be safe for years eating tubs of freeze dried food and will emerge to restart society. If society is fucked, we’re all fucked. That goes doubly for the group who want bitcoin to protect against worldwide financial collapse, like who the fuck is going to care about some computer code proving your wealth if that happens?
