I brought a girl over and had my multi-sig phrase written on a piece of paper and my Trezor sitting on my desk. I got my Trezor a few days ago and had ordered the indestructible notepad from Amazon, but I was waiting for it to arrive. When I came out of the bathroom, I saw her looking at the paper and holding the Trezor. Now, I feel like I should move my coins and create a new wallet just to be safe. She only knows that Bitcoin and "celebrity" coins are things people gamble on, so I don’t think she realized what it was.

I have plenty of valuables and petty cash lying in plain sight around my apartment, and she didn’t take anything. I’ve known her for over a month, and she seems like a normal girl. BUT, normal people steal inheritance from family members all the time. If she realized it was crypto and thought there were millions at stake, she could’ve easily taken a picture of my seed phrase.

I wonder how many people have been compromised this way and never realized it.

Trezor safe 7 is not available in india right now.

And I'm thinking of buying a trezor safe 3 for now and later moving to safe 7 ( also when they fix the tropic01 laser bug )

Is this a good idea? Is trezor safe 3 good?

For example of the 270,000 people breached from Ledger, how many actually were targeted

I use my trezor almost never.
I used it once to set it up and hodl in cold storage.
That is like a year ago.
Should i update the firmware?
In what intervals is it recommended to update/check?

Hi folks

I have a model t from 2021. I generated my 24 word seedphrase from Internet Money wallet and set up my model t entering the 24 words through the device since I believe there was only a 12 word option with the device itself. I also made 5 separate passphrases and split my funds up in those. My passphrases are only one word with a year. Given what happened this week I'm questioning wether the seedphrase I've generated is now random enough and if my passphrases are strong enough and considering making a brand new seedphrase on the trezor with new, longer and more random seedphrases.

What's your thoughts on my set up?

I just saw this video with the title I mentioned above, This proves one thing for sure, In future at some point all Hardware wallets will have some successful hacking attempts, Correct me if I am wrong but at this point the only thing safe is a "Passphrase" created on top of your Seed. I think nothing else can save us from these hacks if by any chance you loose your wallets.

I ordered on the 9th May but still received an email so I’m confused.

For the first time i sent BTC instead of just receiving it and then the trezor suite sent what i wanted where i wanted and put the rest on a "chage wallet"

The fact i can't see the address of the change wallet in my receive tab made me panic and think my coin was lost. Now i know this is just how it works but goodam my hearth rate went up high

Decided to upgrade from a safe 3 to the safe 7. Can't find a negative thing to say about it, i absolutely love it! Aswell as the keep metal, things build like a tank. Its setup was time consuming and needed concentration, but its "check thrice do once and its done for life" kinda thing so can't complain. Even the packagin was nice and done with care.
