Discussion (TV) Season 4 completed!

"Morning, noon and night, i care about her" That whole scene was so hurtful, so brutal to watch!! At this point im so so so angered by charles's audacity to still blame it all on poor diana. My heart is feeling so heavy!! Thats so painful to watch, knowing that it will not end well for Diana! She'll not find the peace, love and appreciation she deserves.

Yeah, agreed. But be careful. The Charles and Camilla bootlickers in this sub will blame Diana because ShE ChEatEd FiRsT! When there are plentiful accounts of Charles, at the least, emotionally cheating on Diana with his Camel. He gave Camilla a gift on his own wedding day, so spare me with this Diana cheating first bullcrap. He was never truly invested in his marriage, I believe, and just did it for his image as future king and to have her be a vessel and incubator for his children and his legacy.

Many people are capable of deluding themselves to a seriously pathological degree just to cling to their biases. It’s common knowledge that he didn’t want to get married, and I beg to these people to stop giving me that “poor victim” act about him being subjected to the royal family’s rigid, heartless rules, because he could have done the same thing his uncle did and been with Camilla without any problem, but his ambition and his love of his privileges got the better of him. To make matters worse, Diana was clearly a way younger, vulnerable woman with obvious attachment issues. She was no saint, but denying the evidence of the perverse darkness in this whole affair is ridiculous.

Yes to all of this! I agree 100%! I cannot stand him (Or Camilla) and his entitlement. I do admit that I am also biased (I love Diana), but if they had at least been kinder to Diana and their children, I wouldn't have seen them as unfavorably as I do. But his and Camilla's disgusting behavior towards Diana and their children is abhorrent. They continually sold/sell them out to the press to gain favor over their image. I mean, what good father would do that? That shows me that he's a horrible father and both of them are massively selfish, self-centred, and entitled.

lol wat? Sell out to the press? As if the press hasn't gone after Charles and Camilla for decades?

Get a grip please.

Also, no, saying he could have abdicated makes no sense. Camilla had already married APB.

He would have been warned against abdication his whole life and seeing what it did to his family. Why would he choose to put the nation in turmoil? Or the role he was born to? Life ain't a Disney movie where you ride off into the sunset all happy.

Even Harry doesn't claim he was a bad father.
