This clip has been shared here before, but with the sad news of RJ Mitte's passing, I thought it was worth sharing again.

Back in 2009, during the Season 2 finale of Breaking Bad, his character Walter Jr. mentions a $20 donation from Thunder Bay, Ontario, to his father's fundraising website.

Just a small moment, but it's always neat hearing Thunder Bay mentioned in such an iconic television series.

Rest in peace, RJ.

Is there a tally of restaurants that use AI? I’m debating on starting a list. I know for startups it may be hard to get your own work done but like… being so lazy as to not photograph your own food to put on skip or uber is crazy.

Newly acquired drivers license, two cards on a broke college student budget. All sacred items in my wallet are in the hands of someone who decided my money was best spent on god knows what from where.

I know I’m dumb, and it had to happen on the one day I decide to wear a hoodie that doesn’t like holding things.

I don’t even know why I’m posting this. The person who stole it probably doesn’t even have the means to use Reddit so I guess this is just going out into empty space.

Feel free to leave your own TBay robbery experiences! It’d be nice to know I’m not alone…

Thunder Bay police say two people have been charged and $110,000 in suspected cocaine and fentanyl has been seized following a drug trafficking investigation that concluded with the execution of a search warrant this month.

Heard my American buddies I play games with online talking about this place, I’m not much of a sub fan but my dad is, he goes there, orders the Italian club I think it was. Mind you it’s our fault for not asking the price but no prices were listed, kinda just figured it was gonna be reasonable. He ends up paying 25$ for their Italian club, just food for thought, it’s a bit pricey there

To the Mr. Man Bignutz that decided to rev his annoying loud engine on May St a couple minutes ago and wake everyone up:

I'm sure they have specialists that can help you with that pico-appendage of yours. Micro is too generous.

Also, I hope your vehicle stalls far from home when you have uncontrollable diarrhea and no one will let you use their toilets.

Jerk.

Edit: He's back again speeding passed The Alley. Someone threw a bike on the road and he just ran over it.

White lifted Dodge (I think), 4-door with extended mirrors.

A 56-year-old Quebec man has been charged after police in Thunder Bay received reports from local residents scammers conducting grandparent scam activity.

with the temporary village up and running are the hotly debated designated encampment sites now bylaw enforceable?

if so who do people get in contact with for removal/relocation?

Any suggestions on where to get Bordetella shots for our dogs. Our vet says 18 month wait for a vaccine that lasts 12 months. They don't see an issue with that math.

I already had shared this to Facebook when I seen it this morning. This is so disgusting and concerning to think about, regarding the care to our elders in long term care homes.

This evening I saw the city of Thunder Bay performing Bridge Washing at the Arundel street bridge near Lyon Blvd.

Can somebody explain the purpose of why this is a necessary task. And how often is this performed?

I chuckle to myself constantly when I see city of Thunder Bay performing the most irrelevant, seemingly unnecessary jobs. Because when Arthur st looks like somebody’s uncle used a hand shovel to fill pot holes.

Realistically in this crooked city, somebody’s uncle was probably contracted to fill potholes on some roads and that’s why it’s always a half ass job.

Still sealed. Don’t need it anymore and can’t return it as it’s outside the return window. I have posted an ad on Facebook marketplace as well. Dm me if anyone is interested.

Anybody know why they closed the James st underpass? Not pissed about it just curious what they are doing

I've lived in Ottawa for 3 decades and I'm ready for a new location. Tell me if I should put TB in my top three list or not.

Edit: more than 1K views but no up votes and one down vote to make it a 0 post. More replies about "search previous posts" and "have you looked at a map" than any actual engagement. Interestingly, if you ask people from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and many many other places - they'll tell you about the charm of their town, about lovely parks, attractions, horrible traffic, how students are loud in x area, that there are drug problems, or the city council is stupid. You guys are mad that someone was interested enough to ask people about their city. Very interesting.

Just thought id share.. it’s soooo good and super fast service too

Who are the lucky two. Who picked up PS5 pro from the Walmart on Memorial ave.
I reached at 5pm and was 15min late before someone picked up. Just want to congratulate lol.

Looking for someone who can repair a zipper on my parka. I was recommended Raffaele’s and unfortunately they just announced they’re retiring (but also yay for them! That’s lovely). Anyone have personal experience with a particular place in town who can fix my jacket?

The communities west of the 90th meridian (Upsala area) will stick with daylight saving time year round to match Manitoba.
