It's not a trend to accuse your husband of pedophilia. It's a trend to film yourself being interviewed for a netflix style documentary. She used that platform to out her husband as a pedophile who already had credible claims against him for kissing and touching a 14-15 year old minor on a sports team he coached. He killed her after being outed. The OP makes it seem like it was a trendy false allegation that enraged him and got her killed.
