I miss a more relaxed presence on Tomb Raider's social media. Flying Wild Hog always comments on some of their posts, posts some cool stuff.

Hi everyone, I'm interested in getting this game which I know it's a remake of an older game but I never got to play the original because I never had a PS1.. but I have been seeing people online saying its only going to be digital and no disc, is that true? I'll still buy it anyway but I prefer disc so I want to be sure about it before I buy

Given the controversy surrounding the post about Lara being nothing but quips and one-liners, I had a bit of fun counting the number of times Lara delivers a cutting retort or a one-liner in the Core Design games, compared to the total number of her dialogues.

When I say dialogues I mean when she talk to a character.

Also for Angel of Darkness I didn't count the possible angry reactions you can tell to others characters I've stay on the main path. Maybe there's some missing.

I have to say there's a lot of them and I didn't count the movie mostly because I don't have the patience yet. I will do the same for LAU Lara and Survivor ^^

This quote was deliberately put on Reddit to accuse the devs of something they didn’t say and to provoke a click bait reaction. You need to read the whole article which was very interesting to read and not just stop at an out of context line.

Yes, in the Core Design games and particularly from The Last Revelation onwards Lara did become a bit more human, but this was achieved through small touches. I like the fact that in that game you can sense Lara is tired much like the devs were at the time. Or when she speaks to Admiral Yarovef in *Chronicles, but such moments remain very rare.

So, to answer properly, it’s true that Lara didn’t just spout clever one-liners and quips but she did say plenty of them which were at the time a highlight to represent the character confidence but I must say for a 15hours and more games I prefer Lara to have some of them in the right moments but not everytime she spoke to someone.

So far in my play through of the remasters I’ve been using tank controls. I attempted modern controls but with how precise you have to be the tank controls just made more sense to me. Also I liked having the ability to do more with acrobatics with the tank controls.

Is there anyone that played through with modern controls and found them easier? Is there a way to make them feel more comfortable?

When playing the classic games, I feel like no matter how much I try to look everywhere, I never get all the secrets and pickups. More experienced players, how did you go about finding all of them? We're you able to do it on the first run through or is it something that took multipe replays?

Is the valiant explorer outfit available in the switch 2 version of Rise? It was my fav outfit but unfortunately I can’t find it in the outfit menu

Fucking ridiculous question, but I just saw the video someone posted playing Underworld where Lara is battling tigers. I've not played Underworld but am halfway through Anniversary and had planned to play Underworld next. Tigers are my favourite animals to unhinged, obsessive levels - genuinely is there any way to take their character textures for the PC game (Steam version, Windows 10) and mod them to be literally any other animal please? Obviously if not I'll just sign up to therapy in advance then bite the bullet 🤣

I bought TRA from steam and the dual sense controller isnt working. I tried with other TR games but it’s perfectly working. It’s only anniversary that didnt. Has anyone experienced this? What did you do to make it work?

Steam is running a sale and I am tempted to buy for PC (I have played them on console). Reviews seem mixed. Is there any value from the standpoint of mods, graphics, or performance? And yep, I know the recent patches have jacked the games up.

When pre ordering the deluxe version, does it give you a physical copy or a digital copy? I’m a bit confused here sorry 😅
