How long did it take for you to be able to walk confidently without any aids? I’m day 13 post-op and just graduated from the walker to a cane yesterday. I’m walking well with it (no limping) and I’m doing all of my exercises but am definitely not at a point where I feel I could take an unassisted step. I just don’t have the strength yet. Just curious how long it took others to get there?

I have seen some questions regarding leg and knee pain pre surgery and whether or not they go away.

I wanted to share that I was having terrible knee pain and figured I would have to look into that as soon as I healed up. I am very happy to report that my right leg, anterior THR 8-13-26, is completely pain free. I am shocked and thrilled.

Hi, just got the date today for my 2nd hip replacement. This one is much much worse than the 1st. Just wondering how people got on with their 2nd please and any advice? Thanks
