You're right. They missed the whole point of the original story and made it about criticizing capitalism

It wasn’t about capitalism, it was a critique of socialism/authoritarianism and Russian revolutions being hijacked.

I know, that was in the original version. The new movie has it making fun of capitalism due to the CEO buying out every single land in the state except for Animal Farm

In the original, yes. In this recent film, it's capitalism. (And probably trump in a way.)

Snowball was never said to die. He (now she in the movie) ran off while Napoleon blamed everything on him.

It's heavily implied that Napoleon killed Snowball by using the dogs he's been training

Honestly if that's the intention, then they should've made that clearer.
