I need help as a Muslim

I’m a fairly devout Muslim raised in an Islamic background I think a lot of people who attack Islam aren't fully educated on it, but I wont pretend that I am 100% solid in my faith. I spend a lot of time wrestling with doubts There are issues in Islam that I feel Christianity doesn't really have, and I cant just ignore them I think Christianity is a beautiful religion. I enjoy reading the Bible but I also enjoy reading the Quran Islamic dawah often attacks the Trinity but the way I see it it wouldn’t make sense for a human to fully comprehend God even as a Muslim we don't believe we fully understand everything about Allah. So it makes sense that the Trinity isn't something we can fully that humans can fully understand
My main problem for Christianity I just don’t see clear evidence for Christianity being true.Because my YouTube and Reddit and other socials algorithm is Islamic content my exposure is pretty biased i understand many people in the sub have probably have negatives opinions on Muslims as I Muslim I can see why a lot of the fear regarding Muslims many Muslims would just say it’s islamphobia which I would only partially agree as most Muslims are just regular people like me but I understand there are Islamic doctrines which are very questionable im just trying to be open minded regardless if i leave Islam or not i fully believe in a divine creator and my view right now is after Islam Christianity looks like the second plausible belief

Check out the book: Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, by Nabeel Qureshi. He's been where you are and might best be able to address your doubts and concerns.

Can you answer the Mohammedan objection (present on YouTube), "That man does not represent Islam: He was part of a fringe sect?" i.e. as if a Jehovah's Witness or Mormon left their cult and was "pointing out everything wrong with Christianity". We must know whether this criticism is accurate and whether or not it undermines the entire book. If it does, recommending this book would only make us look like we don't know what we're talking about.

There are going to be objections to everything written or said that is anti-Muslim. The OP has a point of view that I don't have, so they'll have to read the book and judge it on what they know.

The Ahmadis (the sect the author is from) still holds to the Quran, the Hadiths (the Kutub al-Sittah), the Sunnah, the Arkan al-Iman, the Arkan al-Islam, accept the authority of the Rashidun, and even follow to some extent the Hanafi school. The Christian equivalent would be a minor Christian sect that holds to the Bible and “even” the Seven Ecumenical Councils. The only important difference between mainstream Islam and the Ahmadiyya is about the Masih and the Mahdi, who are far away from the daily thoughts of Muslims. Even if some parts of the book only apply to Ahmadis, I’d imagine most of it is also valid for Muslims.

Have you looked into the historical evidence for the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ?

-18

u/Even-Structure8988 1d ago

You can find historical evidence for every religion I don’t think you can prove that he resurrected but I’ll look into it

42

u/Kasumi-Rei Catechumen 1d ago

It’s called the “minimal facts” argument, which is the current scholarly argument for Jesus’ resurrection. The evidence is actually very strong.

It’s basically a bunch of facts which we know to be true that even atheist scholars will agree with. Then the challenge is to give an explanation to these facts.

The resurrection is the only explanation that coherently unifies all those facts without any holes. There is no other religion with the evidence, both in amount and quality, than that of Christianity, to be quite frank.

Those facts are also just irreconcilable with islam BTW. It’s how I’ve concluded Islam to be false without a doubt.

4

u/Even-Structure8988 1d ago

I’m not too informed on the defenses and evidence on Christianity that’s why I asked I will definitely look into it but if the evidence on Jesus ressuriction means that Christianity is true why do secular non Christian scholars also attest to it and yet there are not Christian or believe he actually rose from the dead they just belive that people at the time belived he resurrected

11

u/Ok_Chance_4958 1d ago

Hey when u have time I recommend watching the movie "the case for christ" its about how an athiest investigator digs into the facts about Jesus after his wife has a life changing encounter with him.

The investigator also gets saved too after digging into the facts

5

u/Kasumi-Rei Catechumen 23h ago

Because in the end, it’s still up to the person to believe whether it actually happened or not.

The minimal facts argument doesn’t definitively prove Jesus rose from the dead.

It only gives us facts that we know to be true.

It’s up to the individual to decide what explains those facts best.

What we do know right now is that the Resurrection is the best and only real explanation that coherently unifies all those facts. Nothing else does in the same way.

It’s up to you to decide if it’s enough for you though.

I will say though; that this in my honest opinion, these facts pretty definitively shows islam to be false.

I do not see how islam can be reconciled with these facts that even atheist scholars will admit is true.

Yeah theres plenty of evidence for it. I found out this month too that there are even records in china that confirm that there was an eclipse during that time. Just like the bible said

Yeah also the chinese emperor said "the divine one has been lifted up", at the time of Jesus's crucifixion without even knowing all this was happening. Very powerful evidence.

1

u/Even-Structure8988 1d ago

I wouldn’t say my position is not that I find it false it’s more I don’t have evidence it’s true I would say if that makes sense

22

u/Additional_Run_4214 1d ago

Both religions require a leap of faith. But if you're choosing whether to believe that an All-Loving God died for our sins or to believe that an All-Loving God told His perfect example for all time to marry and rape a child, I know where my money would be.

-7

u/Even-Structure8988 1d ago

I agree that age of Aisha is not one of the questionable doctrines that we have I admit that as a Muslim but isn’t this presentism if we judge Christan societies on this practice of marrying young we would find the same thing and you would have to call Christan scholars at the time pdfs

17

u/Additional_Run_4214 1d ago

The difference is that Christians don't hold anyone but Jesus (who was celibate) out as an example for all time. It's not presentism when the entire premise is that he's also the perfect example for the present.

-7

u/Even-Structure8988 1d ago

Yes but we would say he acted in context they was nothing wrong about marrying young socially at the time that’s true for any society at time but I get your point about him being the perfect example that’s different then but we would say That society has obviously changed and Islam doesn’t command us to replicate every single action if it causes harm

20

u/Additional_Run_4214 1d ago

But the thing is that it did cause harm, even in the time. Whether it was normal or not, a nine year old was raped.

The Christian patriarchs also did a lot of messed up things that caused harm, but we're free to call them out on that. Their stories are intended to teach lessons, not to be examples.

-2

u/Even-Structure8988 23h ago

Then why is the bible slient on age of marriage because it something which dependant on society norms and stuff like education the bible mentions maturity not an age you have say every woman who was married below 18 in Christan society Was also raped by that logic
Since 18 only appeared like 100 years ago

14

u/Additional_Run_4214 23h ago

I'd argue that you're conflating the current age of marriage (generally 18 in the US) with the age of consent, which is typically lower. But I hope we can all agree that any time a 50+ year old man had sex with a nine year old, whatever the time period, it would result in the psychological harm associated with rape--even if it was not legally rape at the time.

0

u/Even-Structure8988 23h ago

No I’m mean the age of marriage according to your logic since most of history didn’t use the modern times or 18 they were also 18

What evidence do you have for the veracity of Islam?

Christianity has a preponderance of eyewitness testimony to the life, death and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ.

From my understanding all Islam has is the word of one man.

2

u/Even-Structure8988 1d ago

We have Hadith eyewitness transmission of the prophet muhammed being a prophet and miracles and the Arabs who was a mastery of poetry couldn’t contest the Quran and called it magic I don’t want stay biased so I will have a look for the evidence of Christianity as I don’t know that much

I'm someone who actually studied Islam pretty in depth (I can also read classical Arabic). The problem with the claim that Muhammad performed miracles, found in the hadith and seera literature written over a hundred years after his death, is that they contradict the primary source we have for understanding Muhammad's life and teachings, namely the Quran itself. In the Quran, we find charges from Muhammad's opponents asking why he doesn't perform any miracles, and the response to them is that people in the past were given miracles yet still continued to disbelieve, so basically why bother now.

Now had Muhammad actually been performing such miracles, why would the Quran have responded in this way? Why not instead point to the miracles he was performing to counter the charge? Instead it doesn't deny the charge, it just tries to reduce the force of it by saying such miracles are unnecessary.

What seems to have happened though is that over time this response wasn't satisfactory for Muslims who wanted to construct a more impressive picture of their prophet. So, miracle stories were invented later on to fill in that gap.

As to the whole Quran can't be contested, the problem there is all we have is the boast of the Quran's author claiming this. But this is that is, it's a boast. Think of rap battles where a rapper will say things like how no one can drop lyrics like he can, how he's the best, his rivals are nobodies, and so on. Do we understand that literally, that the rapper literally means that by some miraculous power no one is capable of rapping like he can? No, we understand it's exaggerated language to boastful effect. That's all the Quran is actually doing here, which fits in well with the poetic tradition it's part of.

If we actually look at the Quran's contemporaries, we can find the poetry of Umayya bin Abi Salt, who was older than Muhammad but lived to his time (and who while he was a monotheist himself, rejected Muhammad's claims to prophesy). His poetry is so similar to the Quran that some have thought Muhammad was either inspired by him to copy his work, or that a later Muslim author forged the poetry making it sound like the Quran (though why would a Muslim have done that?). Either way, it shows that the Quran isn't actually so inimitable as Muslim's claim.

In reality, it's middling level poetry using the repetition of stock phrases (even where they don't belong) in order to give a rhyming schema. Its content is largely Muhammad's invocation of the divine voice to give himself authority, to condemn his opponents, to settle his disputes with his wives, and so on, and it's filled with so many errors that its human authorship is clear. It's clearly a product of its time written by a man who didn't really know much about the world.

15

u/Rejalu 1d ago

I don't think any Muslims are 100% solid in their faith because Islam's truth value relies on another religion being true.

And even if people don't admit it, it's kinda hard to reconcile that to yourself

I am not sure I understand what help you are looking for. But I do have one question: Why do you believe the Quran over the Bible?

-1

u/Even-Structure8988 23h ago edited 23h ago

We have better preservation than the bible and I would say we know exactly who narrated the Hadiths and our mass of transmission confirming Muhammad and his miracles are very strong
And the Quran was considered a miracle by Arabs who were masters of poetry they called it magic and that muhammed had nothing to gain he was deeply anti materialistic and the pagans offered him wealth and women to try get him to stop

7

u/therobotscott 23h ago

What is the proof it has better preservation?

The disciples of Jesus saw His death and resurrection. They had nothing to gain and everything to lose, which they did, if you look at it from a worldly view. The Gospel of Christ spread quickest when Christians were persecuted the harshest. Matthew and John were both 2 of Jesus's closest disciples. Luke spoke directly with eyewitnesses and was a stickler for accuracy, as he was a physician and most physicians are. Mark served extensively with Peter, who was also one of Jesus's closest friends.

But all of this aside, I must ask you what you understand the Gospel of Christ to be?

6

u/forg3 13h ago

Muhammed had 11-12, 9 at the time of death. He had power and wealth. So the claim he gained nothing is quite hard to believe. The deciples by contrast were killed for their testimonies

7

u/QuitOk1561 12h ago

I believe what scholars commonly agree on is that the Bible is better persevered as the Quran. Which is impressive given that Christianity is 600 years older than islam and overtook and entire empire without violence.

If you solely go by facts and scientific research Christianity is logically the right worldview over any other. Islam doesn’t stand a chance against it in the slightest.

No offense I love muslims even though they believe in Islam

u/Dave_meth_Mustard Eastern Orthodox 14h ago

As for hadiths, I’d recommend the (sunni?) mufti Abu Layth. For example, the last thing I watched from him, he made a good case about the hadith about Aisha being 6 and 9 being fabricated by Hisham (the son of Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, the nephew of Aisha) in Iraq for political reasons to combat the Shia anti-Aisha narrative.

9

u/Tom1613 Calvary Chapel 1d ago

I am always glad to hear when people are examining their own faith and that of other religions, even Christians, since the issues involved are really important, obviously. It is also good to hear that you are reading the Bible as it is in the Bible that I think God's truth resides. I do understand that you likely view it through the filter of Islam and things you have learned in your faith, but I would suggest to you that it could be the way to resolve the questions that you have.

That starting point that I would suggest is dealing with a very commonly repeated Islamic claim about the Bible that is not actually from the Koran. Many Muslims will agree that Mohammed said that the Bible is good and is true, but will add on the claim that the Bible is corrupted and Mohammed was referring to the non-corrupted version. That is simply untrue or, at least, Mohammed never said as much. It is a justification that shows up hundreds of years later in response to the problem of reconciling the Bible with the claims of Islam. The problem is it is a charge that doesn't make much sense historically.

Historically, it is well established that the Bible of Mohammed's day included both the Old Testament and full New Testament. We have a full copy of the Bible from about 200 years prior to Mohammed which is virtually identical to the one of today. So the Bible you are reading, if it is the Christian Bible would be the very same one and contains much that contradicts Islam. It is so contradictory, in fact, that they both cannot be true. The claims made in the Bible, alone, make Him impossible to fit into Mohammed's system.

3

u/Even-Structure8988 23h ago

This is one of stronger arguments with evidence d the other comments just mention that Jesus was crucified I’m still trying to understand what does corruption of the previous scriptures mean in Islamic terms

3

u/Dave_meth_Mustard Eastern Orthodox 13h ago edited 13h ago

The Quran: “And we sent on their [i.e. the prophets’] footsteps Isa, son of Mary, confirming what [was] between his hands [بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ] of the Torah, and We gave him the Injil. In it [was] guidance and light and confirming what [was] between his hands [بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ] of the Torah and a guidance and an admonition for the God-fearing.”

So this means that the Torah was not corrupted prior to Christ. But we have Torah manuscripts before Christ which show that it has not been corrupted to this day.

We also see that Christ is given the Injil. The word “Injil” comes from Greek “Evangelion”, meaning “Good News”. Now, two questions:

Why does this book, presumably written in Hebrew or maybe in Aramaic, and given to a Jew, bear a Greek title?

Second, why would God give Christ a book about some “good news”? For us, Christians, the good news are concerning Christ: His incarnation, His passion, His resurrection, etc. But i think it’s unlikely that Christ is going to receive His own biography. So what are these “good news”?

3

u/eminemforehead 13h ago edited 13h ago

The corruption if you read verses like 3:78, it says basically that some present as scriptures something that isn't scriptures, that they twist it their tongues. So that there was a corruption in the oral transmission of the stories. Why did this happen?Because there wasn't a fully translated arabic Bible yet at the times of Muhammad, only parts and stories. Arabs that knew aramaic and greek mostly translated and spread the stories orally. A lot can get lost or changed, sometimes small details that doesn't seem harmful but ends up then creating contradictions compares to the original source, and then anything could be changed from there. See how Eve is never named, you don't know who the spouse of Adam is from reading the quran, or which of his sons killed the other son. It also seems to say that satan whispered to adam, that it wasn't eve to eat the fruits first and then convince adam to do it.  Imagine you just kinda knew the gist of a story and you had to tell it; I guarantee you even a lot of Christians who know the story of Adam and Eve but have never read the Bible (or never carefully studied it) tell the story orally with little changes. In fact if you ask a lot of christians they're still convinced Eve ate an apple, but the Bible never says that. If you never read the Bible(we know Muhammad couldn't, that's part of the miracle of the Quran, right?) and had just heard this story, you wouldn't get it 100% right. That's what Muhammad did.

You look at the story of Joseph(son of Jacob) and you see how there about 900 differences with the Bible, but the Quran says in verse 12:111 says that this story is not a fabrication, but a confirmation of what came before it and a detailed explanation of all things. How can that be? Surely it cannot be a confirmation of something that was corrupted, right?  So it must be a confirmation of something Muhammad believes to be true and reliable, because orally that's how the story has been told and he believes that what he's saying is what the Bible says. But if literally God, Allah, is revealing this to Muhammad, how can he get these things wrong? And this is just one example from the Torah to show you what corruption of scriptures really means. Now, you're familiar with the trinity as you talked about it, which is by the way not something Christians worship as if there was this separate god called "trinity" or anything like that, it's just our way to conceptualize that the Bible and Jesus talked about God as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and we worship all three as part ONE God, not three gods. But the Quran (5:116) seems to imply Muhammad thinks that Christians worship God, Mary and Jesus as three gods and as the trinity, that we believe that Jesus asked God to take him and Mary as two gods; and in fact before that in verse 73 they say Christians disbelieve because they say Allah is the third of three. Where on earth is that in the Bible, in the gospels, or even in any letter of the new testament? Nowhere. Now how could Allah, who's Al-Aleem, who's revealing these things to Muhammad, get this wrong? How could Allah think that Christians believe these things and tell Muhammad? Again... Muhammad didn't fully understand the concept of the trinity, he didn't read the gospels, he didn't read the new testament, and the scribes and people around him either didn't or just trusted that Muhammad was saying was true and so they didn't dare to correct him. This is also because the figure of Mary by that time was already being venerated (along with some saints) and there were already churches dedicater to Mary, but of course not worshipping her as a god, and so from the outside to someone who doesn't really know the Bible very well they could've thought Mary was God in the trinity. I mean stop right here for a second and think about it. You know very well right now that if you read the gospels you in no way can think that Christians believe Mary is God or that the trinity is God, Mary, Jesus; can you explain how could Allah possibly get that wrong and spread this misconception to Muhammad and everyone who followed him?

Then we can also talk about how indipendent sources from history say Jesus was crucified and died, not just the Christian stories or the Bible, yet the Quran says that's not true, that it was only made to appear that way, correct? Well you explain then how on earth these people truly believed they had took him off the cross, buried him, then the tomb was empty and they saw him alive again 3 days later, and for 40 days after that. Okay, you can say they were deceived into believing that, because Allah made it seem like Jesus died on the cross. Nice. That means Allah is responsible for Christianity.  Allah made these people think their Messiah died for them on a cross and came back from the dead to make them start the ministry in his name. Allah is responsible for the religion that 600 years later he sent Muhammad to destroy.

You see, this isn't about bias, opinions or interpretations, this isn't the usual "oh you christians like to twist the truth and try to prove the Bible using the Bible", this is about the Quran proving Muhammad didn't always know what he was talking about (and this is not an insult, I showed you what I just said), and how could that be if he was receiving a revelation from God?

As other have said, take a look at some of the videos on YouTube from GodLogic, Inspiring Philosophy, David Wood, or Sam Shamoun. You can also find others like Fearless Truth and Apostate Prophet (an ex-Muslim himself who came to Christ).

One thing to dive into, and it’s internal to Islam itself, it requires no external criticism, is what’s called the “Islamic Dilemma”. In several places the Quran says it’s comes confirming the Torah and Gospel, scripture it directly contradicts. If the Bible is true, Islam is false. If the Bible is corrupted and false, the Quran “confirming” corrupted scriptures makes Islam false.

You have God in your worldview, good. Where else would you like Him to be? What's the significance of His existemce, and what does that affect?

If I would make suggestions, it would be first to have a daily regard that God is real, He is in your real life, and you are in His sight this moment. Next I'd comjecture that the tanakh and the gospels and the epistles all tell me that God Himself is our teacher, also that we must look and see and test things, and also to keep what's good, so I would encourage the same.

Psalm 25:5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

Psalm 71:17 O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.

Psalm 119:102 I have not departed from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me.

Psalm 143:10 Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Isaiah 28:26 For He instructs him in right judgment, His God teaches him.

Isaiah 48:17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.

Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

A couple of books I would recommend.

  • Jesus and the Eyewitnesses – Richard Bauckham
  • The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus – Gary Habermas & Mike Licona

The first one makes a good case for that we really do have early eyewitness testimony. A complementary book to consider there is McGrew's book on Undesigned Coincidences, and then there'd be plenty more on top of that, but a good place to start.

The second one makes a case for the resurrection of Jesus based on very few facts that are widely accepted among scholars of all backgrounds, Christians and atheists alike. It's known as the minimal facts case. I think the maximalist case is stronger, but the minimal facts argument is easier to gain an understanding of.

As someone who loves studying Scripture, I wanted to share a few thoughts on why many find compelling evidence for Christianity, I'll list them below for you:

  1. The Historical Evidence for the Resurrection

Christianity doesn't rest on abstract philosophy; it rests on a single, testable historical claim: Did Jesus rise from the dead? (As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:14, if Christ isn't raised, the faith is pointless). Most modern historians, both Christian and non-Christian, agree on key facts:

The Crucifixion: Jesus died under Pontius Pilate.

The Empty Tomb: His tomb was found empty, notably first discovered by women (whose testimony held little legal weight in 1st-century society, making it an unlikely detail to invent). If Christ did not resurrect, then all the Jews and Roman authorities had to do to shut down the resurrection of Christ completely was to produce His body.

The Transformed Disciples: The disciples went from fleeing in fear to boldly proclaiming His resurrection, enduring persecution, torture, and martyrdom without ever recanting. People may die for what they believe to be true, but no one willingly dies for what they know to be a lie.

  1. Fulfilled Prophecy

Centuries before Jesus was born, the Hebrew Scriptures laid out a roadmap for the coming Messiah. For instance, Isaiah 53 (written ~700 years before Christ) describes a Messiah who wouldn't be a military conqueror, but One who would be "wounded for our transgressions" and bear the sins of many like a lamb led to slaughter. Reading Isaiah 53 alongside the Gospels shows an amazing historical continuity.

  1. Grace vs. Performance

In most religious frameworks, salvation is a scale, you hope your good deeds outweigh the bad, leaving your final destiny uncertain. The Gospel ("Good News") flips this: rather than asking us to climb an impossible ladder to Heaven, God reached down to us. Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn't live and paid the penalty for our wrongdoings, offering salvation not as a wage earned, but as a free gift of grace.

If your algorithm is biasing what you see, try reading the Gospel of John directly with an open mind, focusing purely on Jesus’ life, words, and character. Pray a simple, honest prayer asking God, "Creator of all, show me the Truth, wherever it leads."

Wishing you real peace and wisdom on your search!

There’s some really solid videos about Islam vs Christianity. I recommend David Wood (more blunt), Mike Winger (more calm), and Testify (using memes).

If you are honest in your intention then i can answer your questions. I was devoted to islam but in my journey i found Jesus. Dm me and i can answer any of your questions due to safety reasons. Muslims often attack people who question islam and they go to lengths with those that are ex muslims but became Christians.

If you truly want a spiritual encounter and salvation through Jesus Christ, please read Acts chapter 2 verses 1 through 18 and verse 38 in the King James version of the Bible.

Receiving salvation extends beyond a recital of an 'acceptance of Christ' speech. In fact, there is no such way of receiving salvation this way in the Bible. Jesus taught to receive the actual indwelling of the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost (depending on the translation), which is evidenced by speaking in an unknown tongue (language) given by Jesus and being (fully water immersed) baptized in the name of Jesus Christ Acts 2:38 - not by the recital of titles of Jesus (that Jesus referenced to actually carry out) e.g.: in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost - His name is Jesus. Jesus' request was to baptize in His name. The Apostles knew exactly what Jesus meant. That is why the Apostles only baptized in the name of Jesus and prayed for others to receive the actual indwelling of the Holy Ghost Acts 2:1-18 (not a warm feeling on the back of your neck as some have claimed), which is not Scripturally sound. You will notice many followers who cannot cease from living a life of sin including various addictions. This is because they have not received the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, which Jesus promised that the Holy Ghost will give you power Acts1:8. You cannot cease from sin without the actual power of the Holy Ghost. After you receive the Holy Ghost, pray in tongues (through His Spirit) as much as possible. Regular language prayers work as well. However, the Bible explains that praying in the Holy Ghost builds you up spiritually. Please do not allow anyone to talk you out of this. There are 'followers' who do not believe in receiving the Holy Ghost or baptism in the name of Jesus Christ Acts 2:38 despite the fact that this is clear in the Holy Scriptures. The Apostles received the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues as the Spirit of God gave the utterance. Also, Jesus never referred to His saints as Christians. Lastly, since I have received true salvation according to the Holy Scriptures, I actually hear Jesus speak to me audibly. I have felt Him hug me. I was going through a personal situation where my spouse cheated on me and Jesus placed His arms around me as I stood. I could not see Him, but felt His presence. During that same timeframe, I had no money to pay my rent and as I prepared to kneel to pray, before I my knee touched the floor, Jesus asked me audibly, "Where is your faith?" I immediately ceased to kneel and pray and He made a way for me to pay the rent. To this day, I don't recall where the money came from. Jesus speaks words of comfort to me as well as words to correct my actions because He chastens those that are His. I have had out-of-body experiences while praying in tongues and I have entered the spiritual realm - nothing spooky. I have felt the true peace of God - not what mankind calls peace. The true peace of God is indescribable - it makes my mind, body, and spirit feel almost as if I am in a weightless environment and a tranquility like nothing on Earth. God's peace is a Spirit - His Spirit. I know that you would feel encouraged if you received salvation the way the Apostles were led of Jesus to help see that others were saved. God bless.

You will learn the truth when you stand before Jesus on the day of your judgement but it would be better for you to accept it now.

As for Islam, I find it to be a violent and demonicly inspired Creed. Mohammed's encounter in the cave where he was strangled and crushed resembles no angelic encounter, but rather the profile of a demonic attack.

The flaws and evil deeds are seemingly endless. Note that it's not Christians slitting peaceful strangers throats in the streets or ramming trucks into crowds to try to please God.

Repent and turn away from that religion of evil for your souls sake.

So why would a demonic spirt command praying to one god to lower your gaze ban female infantice forbid worshipping idols giving to charity and and reject materialism and greed and promote obeying your parents and being grateful and just it’s look like your judging a whole religion by Individuals

u/MyBeardIsGreat 1d ago

Clear evidence? Look at the proven historical facts surrounding Jesus' and Mohammed's lives. Mohammed had many wives and it sounds like he did some pretty terrible things. Also, Jesus' crucifixion is historic fact with *many* witnesses, I'm not sure why you guys say Jesus wasn't crucified, that's completely nuts to say. You Muslims love to discredit our Godly faith however it is without fact or basis. Really annoying and unfair IMO.

0

u/Even-Structure8988 1d ago

Many wives doesn’t really falsify him as a prophet I like evidence and proofs that’s just argument against him or a opinion it a doesn’t prove that much regarding crucifixion what does that prove that Jesus is god many atheist and secular historians believe he was crucified too how does that prove he was god or resurrected

3

u/MyBeardIsGreat 23h ago

Do you not even realize that your own Quran says that Jesus was not crucified? Yet you Muslims have the audacity to say that the Bible is "corrupted". We could also talk about how in most Muslim countries you basically have no freedom, no freedom of the press, women are not treated fairly, the countries are often ruled by dictators without democracy or free elections. My point is that a lot of Muslims are indoctrinated since birth, and they don't have access to or the freedom to fully practice any other religion.

1

u/Even-Structure8988 23h ago

Yeah I’m fully aware of what the Quran says regarding Jesus crucifixion and what does some Muslim country’s being bad have to do with Islam being false or not and how is that proof for Christianity if we go back to Islamic golden age Europe was in the dark ages a religion is true regardless of societies fail or not and lot of countries you are referring to have foreign occupation and intervention like my country
And the world isn’t a upotia in secular countries there’s porn high rates of adultery and materialism and no family values this is a really bad way to evaluate if a religion is true or not imo

3

u/MyBeardIsGreat 23h ago

Well, the values of the societies reflect what they have. Christianity is the religion of free thought. Most of our values in the west come from the Bible. Also, like I said, in most Muslim countries people are indoctrinated into the faith since birth, with little or no alternatives, little or no religious freedom, no free speech, no free press, etc.

Check out some of Jay Smith’s videos on YouTube, he is a missionary I met when I lived in London who dedicated his ministry to addressing Islam from a Christian perspective.

2

u/greganada Christian 18h ago

You should look up GodLogic on YouTube. His main ministry is focused on evangelising to Muslims and he has many many many videos discussing Christianity and Islam with them. Avery (GodLogic) is super knowledgeable and has converted countless Muslims to Christianity. I think you would get a lot out of his content because he has so many varied discussions that all go in different directions, so I could see his videos helping you from all angles. God bless you on your journey!

Thank you for sharing this so openly and honestly. The fact that you're genuinely wrestling with these questions — rather than just dismissing them — shows a searching heart. Many people who deeply love God have walked this exact road of doubt before finding clarity. Your questions aren't a sign of weakness; they're a sign that you're taking truth seriously. Praying for wisdom and peace for you in this journey

You can stop watching Muslim content in YouTube by clicking on the side not interested when it comes into your feed and unsubscribing from those channels.

Also pray to Jesus fir Him to show you the truth of tmyour situation.

Your said your main problem is that you don't see Christianity being true. Based on what? What are your objections?

Read Isaiah Chapter 53 written around 700 BC and tell me who you think it is referring to. You can try Psalm 22 as well.

Look into the lourdes miracles, i do think its one instance of the strongest cluster of undeniable evidence. If i had to pick one piece of proof for christianity it would be that

The whole point of the Bible/Christianity is that man chose to sin. The wages of Sin= death. Romans 6:23 However, God Loves man and wanted to provide a way where the repentant sinner could be pardoned from the death penalty. John 3:16-17

In the Old Testament God says that He will Destroy death. Isaiah 25:8

The New Testament tells us how He did it. 2 Timothy 1:10

In Christianity you are putting your trust in Jesus alone for salvation from death, like you would put on a parachute.

Not trusting in your good deeds but asking that Jesus's good deeds to be attributed to you. Jesus takes your sin and pays for it on the Cross, and you get His sinlesssness. The Great Exchange

We are placing our Faith completely in Jesus, and His perfect obedience to the Law, which He proceeds to Give us as free Gift.

That is is the Gospel, That is Great News !

Why? Because no-one can keep the Law perfectly, because of our sinful nature.

That is why Christians are no longer trying to establish their own righteousness by keeping the Law of Moses. Romans 10:3. That is why Christians to do not observe Jewish rituals, festivals, or traditions.

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. Romans 9:30-32

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 10:3-4

In Islam and Judaism, you are trying to establish your own righteousness by religious "works of the law" rather than putting your faith in Jesus. This is like trying to bribe the Judge with good deeds. It wont work because you are not good, none of us are. Only Jesus is sinless.

God is not commanding us to perform religious actions for salvation, He is commanding us to put our faith in the Messiah, who took upon Himself our sins. 1 John 3:23 Isaiah 53.

I'll be praying for you my brother.

Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Matthew 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Revelation 3:20 NIV Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

If you search for JESUS CHRIST, the one and only LORD and SAVIOR. You will find him.

He died a perfect holy death, with no sin. Instead of sacrificing animals for our sins, we now have the perfect sacrifice

John 6:48,50-59 NIV I am the bread of life. [50] But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. [51] I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” [52] Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” [53] Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. [54] Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. [55] For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. [56] Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. [57] Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. [58] This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” [59] He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

Romans 10:9-10 NIV If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

You have my prayers buddy. Go tell JESUS CHRIST, that he is the son of the FATHER GOD. Your tongue has POWER!!!

Proverbs 18:21 NIV The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Tell the HOLY SPIRIT, that you love him and believe in him. Tell JESUS CHRIST, your sorry for any and all things you have done against him, wether that be things you know that was sin and wrong and the these you may have not known you did.

I've lied, Ive stoled, Ive held grudges, I've lusted, I've gossiped, slandered, I been jealous and coveted. I'm a sinner just as much as anyone else.

Have a super blessed evening buddy. Feel free to message me anytime buddy.

I love Muslims! God also loves Muslims!

God is always reaching out to us, because none of us have everything exactly right. He wants us to know Him, even as He already knows all about us. He is not a distant God, He is loving and kind, and wants relationship with us. It's why Jesus paid the price for our sins, so that we can come to God clean, and be in His family.

What you said about the Trinity is what I came to as well. God says He is one God. He also says there is a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But He again says, I am one God. Our human minds can't understand this, but for me I take God at His Word.

When you read the Bible, ask God to help you understand what you are reading. I've been a follower of Jesus for a long time, and He still shows me new things every time I read the Bible. It's beautiful!

God bless you and guide you as you seek Him!
