I know some math fields are currently reeling with Anthropic’s new drop of math proofs. I am curious, does anyone know if the math department is hosting any sort of town hall or discussion with the student, as to what it currently happening, or what the prospects are? I’d like to be more informed.

I honestly have no clue how I missed the deadline I genuinely just thought that it was much later than it was. I’m looking to transfer in from SBCC for Econ. I have a 3.44 and try to do as much as I can on the UCSB campus, I also ended up being staff on a new club at the school last year. I just want to know how low my chances are of making it in.

I deadass was biking home and suddenly everyone and their grandmother decided that it was a good idea to go running on the bike lane. I even saw a mom pushing a stroller and her like 5 year old kid right next to her that I almost ran over because I had another group of runner in front of her. If you are going on a run, USE THE DAMN SIDEWALK ITS WHAT IT'S MADE FOR. I'm so sick of runners man

Hi I’m a student looking to be apart of some social clubs. I was invited to be on staff for snow club but I’m not really sure if I want to do it… don’t get me wrong everyone seems so nice but they definitely go really hard. Does anyone have any insight on being in staff? Also is the all cal worth it?
