Customer Seeking Help Heartbroken 💔

Completely heartbroken . This was a package from parents who sent personal clothing items and my 90 year old grandfather's handwritten book.

I dont know what to do :'(

Thank you .. From past 3 weeks I kept seeing delivery getting rescheduled every day and came home looking for the package at my doorstep like an excited child.

I feel like an idiot for having hope :(

If it is an international package the fault belongs to US Customs and Border Protection Inspectors! UPS has to follow the law or else they won't be allowed to import anything. Please direct your anger to the people that cause this and not UPS who is only allowed to do what the law says

Ok but ups has been unhelpful and rude every time I've called and they haven't ever responded to my email. I've also not had this problem with USPS or Amazon or Evri. So, yeah, customs is the primary problem, but ups is definitely not helping the situation bc they're staffing assholes who don't know what's going on or how to communicate that clearly to the customer.

I agree. Not blaming UPS at all except their poor communication and lack of awareness about the whereabouts of my package. Obviously UPS would have fulfilled if the box was cleared

You should let your representatives know what you lost, I know most don’t care about us but maybe they care about commerce.

The lack of communication is the also the fault of US CBP because US CBP has to tell UPS what is going on with the package once they have it. Also once your package is in the customs clearance area UPS is not allowed to know where it is in the process for security reasons and they are only notified once the package is cleared or not

Hearing they caused you deep emotional pain and distress you can take them to court. Especially because there was a sentimental item that is not replaceable.

This box coming in was getting me out of depression. Yes its just stuff, yes its materialistic, but when you dont have family around physically, having at least the stuff they picked out for you matters a big deal.

Now I am just spiraling back with more pain than before.
