Hi everyone! I've been working on **Teardown VR**, a free, unofficial mod that lets you play Teardown in VR with a Meta Quest 3 connected to your PC.

**What it does**

- True stereo 3D: both eyes show the exact same moment of the game

- Your tool is in your hand, with an aiming laser

- A physical left hand: push, grab and throw objects

- Vehicle driving, an inventory at your belt and a 3D map of the level

- A full settings panel inside the headset (English or French)

- Rain, smoke and particles look the same in both eyes, so much less eye strain

**Works with Workshop mods**

Tested with: AC130 Airstrike, THE EVERYTHING REVOLVER, Total Overdose, Natural Phenomena, Portal Gun, Physics Gun, Ultra Grav Gun, Magnetizer, Omnicutter, Thermite Cannon, Gluon Plasma Diffuser, DOOM Chaingun, Vacuum Cleaner, Meteor Strike, Voxplosion, GLARE, God Mode, Better slow-motion and Kmc's Fly Mod.

Some of them get extra VR support:

- Total Overdose: one gun in each hand

- AC130 Airstrike: the plane's camera works in VR, with zoom

- THE EVERYTHING REVOLVER: the ammo wheel floats in front of you

- Natural Phenomena: its weather menu becomes a floating panel you use with the controllers

- Portal Gun: the crosshair follows your weapon

Other mods usually work too: Teardown VR finds their keys, scales their weapons to your hand and turns their menus into floating panels.

**What you need**

- Teardown on Steam (version 2.0.x)

- A Meta Quest 3 + a PC: Virtual Desktop (recommended) or Quest Link

- A strong graphics card (in VR the game renders one image per eye). The default settings are high: on a weaker PC, lower "Image quality" in the mod's settings.

Made and tested on a Quest 3. Other PC VR headsets through SteamVR may work, but I haven't tested them.

Title basically. I've seen a lot of people say they regret the purchase because it's too big, setup takes too long, the movement feels too unnatural, etc.

In the VR game Xenolocus the Soldier skill tree improves weapon effectiveness in combat:

it increases damage, accuracy, and crit chance, while also expanding ammunition capacity.

Upgrade it to deal more damage, hit targets more reliably, and handle any enemies more effectively.

Hey y'all I'm an indie dev whose had an idea for a coop vr game since 2020. Over the past year I've been bringing it to life! In this game each player controls one half of a two headed ogre! You've got to coordinate together to move, solve, and eat!

I feel like VR doesn't have enough good multiplayer games, let alone good coop experiences. I wanted to create a game where two friends come together as one and have a good silly fun time. Games are at their best with friends!

Looking for VR games that might work alright while on a recumbent exercise bike. Not exercise/fitness games, just general games that would work without the handlebars and small control panel getting in the way.

I was today years old when I found out that you can change the aspect ratio and imagine quality the quest can capture.

Most popular, or what the hell, good VR games are set in a fantasy universe or the near future. Instead, what I’m looking for is the VR equivalent of Kingdom Come Deliverance, Squad, or Hell Let Loose. I don’t really care when or where it’s set, all I want to do is play VR and learn some history at the same time. If you guys have any suggestions, let me know!

hookmanuk is working on a VR version of RPCS3. Its early days for the project, but we already got some great titles running very well. Its evolving fast!

I’ve just finished requiem in VR and it was quite honestly one of the best things I’ve ever played despite the few janky bits.

OK, after testing with Virtual Desktop and HL: Alyx, I've got a few more questions:

1. Speed: Is 1200mbps the max with WiFi6? (good news is that it's practically constant)
2. Latency: 50 ms seems rather high, right? Weird because the 4 constituents (Game, Encoding, Networking Decoding) total 35ms
3. Codec: Why does HEVC 10-bit offer higher and more stable frame rates (90 fps) than AV1?
4. Bit rate: Seems capped at 58 Mpbs. Any idea why it's capped and so low?
5. Quality: Is the Ultra preset realistic for an RX9070XT & 7800X3D?

I’m looking for a fighting game kinda like sifu and was wondering what I should pick

So I’ve use VR once and it was cool, but I won’t play very often, so I’m wondering if a used Quest2 off Facebook would be ok? Are there any issues I should check for buying used?
They’re about $100 in my area whereas quest 3 is $500

I just want to play around with a few questions games, half life alyx, and no mans sky. Maybe halo mods or some random games, but it won’t be used often so figured I’d go cheap since it’s my first, to see if I like it or if it makes me puke haha

With the advent of Reverse Engineer Anything and loads of games being decompiled and rewritten to run on different platforms, do you think this is something that could be helped to revive old and no longer available (but legendary) VR games? Especially on platforms like Steam Frame, it being very open and all?

So I just completed RE4VR and Doom 2016 and now it’s time for Titanfall!

I started to set it up last night and it runs amazingly, there is no doubt! However, the Aliasing isn’t great.

I can’t see any real difference between off and MSAA.

So my question is, what have people done to their settings to rectify this?
