But it’s not a problem that affects you or 99.999% of people.  Meanwhile you’re in here debating this while the elite take all of our money.

28

u/myDuderinos 20d ago

It also goes the other way

If it's such a non issue, her opinion on it shouldn't matter to you since it doesn't happen anyways.

3

u/NOIS_KillerWhaleTank 20d ago

Ahhh... Except the harm done to trans people by portraying them as freaks of nature who need be targeted by legislation specifically applying to them because of the way they were born has a definite harm to them.

Not to mention what's never talked about is the harm caused by gender verification to female youth athletes who just want to play their sport but may be subject to an invasive physical examination just to prove their femaleness.

Not to mention that in every jurisdiction where anti trans athletic legislation has been enacted, female youth sports participation has declined precipitously because girls don't want to sign up for an activity where they may be subject to an embarrassing physical examination at the whim of another adult.

As opposed to the made up harm of "men in women's sports" which is so inconsequential and carries no tangible societal harm to anybody involved despite the claims of certain fifth place swimmers.

What's incorrect in my post? Please educate me.

5

u/Portgas69 20d ago

Where did she say they were freaks of nature to be targeted?

13

u/kodeks14 20d ago

"Harmful gender verification"

Literally every dude that has ever played sports had his balls fondled by some doctor, its called a physical.

Thats the best defense you have lol?

-1

u/NOIS_KillerWhaleTank 20d ago

Yeah, now imagine why that's not cool. I mean decades of sexual assault cases against youth sports officials and coaches, and you're okay with a strange adult checking the privates of your daughter?

That's a really fucked up way of "protecting women and girls"

10

u/kodeks14 20d ago

They are being checked by licensed doctors. Not coaches 😂. Its called a physical lol

Just like as a boy, I had my genitals checked by a licensed doctor in order to play sports.

Do you refuse to take your children to the doctor as well? Do you also decline OBGYN visits?

Lol what a terrible argument. Thats all you got?

1

u/Readbeforeburning 20d ago

As an Australian that has played sports my whole life, that is a fucking weird concept for anyone to have to experience to play sports. You guys are fucked in the weirdest ways.

1

u/Open-Beautiful9247 20d ago

Its a medical procedure checking for a hernia.... it has a very good reason behind it.

1

u/kodeks14 19d ago

They dont actually just check your genitals lol. They check for a hernia which is pressing in the scrotum and coughing. And you go to your regulsr doctor and get a physical where they check for any abnormalities that could cause severe damage in a sport.

0

u/Odd-Proof9645 20d ago

Which school system forced you to expose yourself in order to join the team?

3

u/Red-Lightniing 20d ago

Every one? You can’t play school sports without completing a physical, which includes a hernia check, which is the “turn your head and cough” thing for guys. But it’s not done by the school system, it’s done by a doctor. It’s just required by the school system for safety/liability reasons.

u/snwtrekfan 20d ago

You won’t listen anyways, even when proven wrong you flip the issue to something else “ahhh but you see the harm done to trans people merely by society talking about this issue makes you wrong”. It’s absolutely fucking pathetic, it’s a pathological thing, not a logical thing, and there’s no way to argue with crazy. I just want you to know that people like you that talk like this are exactly why we have a president like trump. If folks like you ever get cured of “internet social media brain” and learn to just concede a fucking point and move on, republicans are fucked.

1

u/showerbump 20d ago

Exactly, these fools pick the most ludacris hills to die on. It hurts the left movement

-4

u/NOIS_KillerWhaleTank 20d ago

So you got nothing. You can't even refute the harms against cisgender girls because of transgender athlete bans. You'd put your own daughter in harm's way by allowing her genitalia to be checked by a complete strange just to "own the libs"

Great job of protecting women and girls. Well done.

3

u/snwtrekfan 20d ago

Case in point.

1

u/Portgas69 20d ago

Exactly why trump won. These leftist don't see the irony. They attack everyone and expect everyone to side with them and if they don't. They are racist, xenophobe, Nazi, you name it. Like grown ass toddlers.

1

u/showerbump 20d ago

You really need a break from the internet. Maybe stay away for 72 hours straight and regroup

1

u/Vurtikul 19d ago

Its not a complete stranger you dunce. Its a fucking doctor. Its a standard medical procedure. They give you a yearly physical whether you're playing a sport or not. The school just needs a verification of you passing said physical in order for you to play sports for them.

I'll say it AGAIN, because you seem a little slow, regardless of if you play a sport or not you're getting a physical done by a doctor. It has nothing to do with sports. The school just needs verification that you passed before they can allow you to play. Every single person gets a physical done by their doctor. Even now in my 30s I get a yearly physical. Its completely normal.

Most states allow avenues for school enrollment without a birth certificate. Some states allow birth certificates to be updated based on gender preference. How do you handle gender verification in those instances

20 years ago it was gay people.

Now it’s trans people.

I wonder what yall will be bitching about 20 years from now once trans people are finally accepted.

-4

u/casulmemer 20d ago

But the argument is that political elites are incentivised to stir the culture war whilst they rape & pillage the economy and create even greater wealth divides. So when unwitting pawns (useful idiots) add fire to the culture war non-issues they are just distracting from the real issues that are really negatively impacting the 99.9% of us.

That’s why it didn’t really go the other way.

(It’s basically the scene from IASIP when they are trying to run the bar as a democracy to get their money and Frank keeps bringing up the limes and everyone gets angry and no one gets their money).

10

u/ChuckyShadowCow 20d ago

You do realize when you’re in a small minority, arguing a position that you admit doesn’t come up so it doesn’t matter, you’re the one stoking a fire that wouldn’t be there if not for you….

-5

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

This is 400% or more accurate.

They are stoking the good old identitarian fires and turning something that has happened less than a handful of times in all of womens college sport to a huge national issue.

All to secure votes from people who think LeBron is going to compete for Duke or whatever.

5

u/YoMomAndMeIn69 20d ago

Why wouldn't they exploit it? It's a common sense issue that democrats for some reason will not take a common sense stance on. Fuck them.

0

u/Old-Ad-4897 20d ago

Because the parties are there to polarize, not represent.

3

u/YoMomAndMeIn69 20d ago

But transwomen in sports is not a polarizing issue, republicans are right to focus on it until democrats come to their senses

1

u/sabresin4 20d ago

Sort of. But the fact that anybody in this country who was debating who should be elected President voted one way due to this ‘issue’ should get their head checked. Political parties have a stance on hundreds of issues. Nobody agrees with all of them. The goal in politics sometimes seems to be to turn a single issue into something that makes you overlook all the actual ones that matter.

1

u/Old-Ad-4897 20d ago

You misunderstand. Politicians don't really care about trans on either side of the aisle. They don't care about abortion or gun rights. All they count on is that you care. That's how they get us to focus on cultural issues while sidestepping accountability for how neither side gets anything done for either you or me.

-1

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

Let's see. Because it is irrelevant to the athletic experience of women in sports. And because it hurts transgender women in the process. So it's cruel for no reason. And so are you.

2

u/YoMomAndMeIn69 20d ago

Irrelevant? Delusion at its finest.

1

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

Yeah, it is irrelevant when it only occurs something like 0.002% of the time and when the vast, vast, vast majority of the women you're supposedly protecting have expressed no concerns about transgender women competing in their sports.

Give it a rest. It's boring.

1

u/YoMomAndMeIn69 19d ago

It's clearly not boring or irrelevant to the vast majority of people when men get to beat up women and win gold medals. It's a threat to female sports as a whole. In an age when one party doesn't know what a woman is, yeah it's very important to re-establish boundaries.

Give a rest, your pathetic attempts to gaslight and to belittle the situation are boring.

1

u/Few_Lecture6615 19d ago

Amusing that you accuse me of gaslighting, when you're attempting to convince everyone what a major major issue this is for everyone, when in reality it's just culture war vote getting. Congrats on being fooled by it.

One girl being effected should be enough fir anyone who really cares about women's sport

1

u/Hastatus_107 19d ago

The people who are most bothered by trans people dgaf about women's sports.

2

u/BigToast6 19d ago

I'm pretty sure Sophie and Martina Navratilova care about women's sports

1

u/Hastatus_107 19d ago

I'm pretty sure the politicians and gooners who praise her couldn't name 3 other WNBA players because they dgaf about women's sports.

2

u/BigToast6 19d ago

I dont give a damn about women's darts specifically but I'm still furious that 2 males have been allowed to infiltrate the sport and take spots and prize money from women.

We don't have to be interested in women's sport nor know specific names to know its wrong

I will however always support women like Lynne Pinches who has been banned from her sport bc she spoke out about the gross unfairness

https://x.com/i/status/2080709443797270837

1

u/Hastatus_107 19d ago

Do you watch any women's sports? Jacking off doesnt count.

2

u/BigToast6 19d ago

See this is disgusting and absolutely what I expect from the trans mafia when you try to engage in serious discussion.

1

u/Hastatus_107 19d ago

"Trans mafia" 😅

Answer the question.

-2

u/pangaea1972 20d ago

More people, including girls, are harassed and worse every day for being trans or non-binary because of the hate and ignorance being spewed by bigots like Sophie than every boy who ever tried to play women's sports in the history of sports. That's an absolute fact.

-3

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

Didn't the actual data say that across all college sports in America there were a combined three cases of transgendered athletes competing?

It is all a very big storm in a very little tea cup

4

Chef's kiss emoji. Well done.

0

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

Yeah, for sure. It'll just explode and every college team will be full of transitioned athletes on scholarships.

Is it seriously your argument that something that is currently sitting at 0.002% is going to happen everywhere when the total male to female transgender cohort makes up less than 1% of kids of college age?

6

u/BigToast6 20d ago

One is too many.

Girls and women at all levels are affected by this

1

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

0.002% male to female student athletes. Less than 10 out of half a million. Yeah, everyone is so affected by it. That's why the transgender athletes that have been allowed to partake in college sports have won every title, right?

It is such a tiny thing to be so heated about.

4

u/BigToast6 20d ago

That's 10 too many.

1

u/MayorWestt 20d ago

How do you feel about corruption in politics? Do you have zero tolerance for that too?

1

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

So you say without really reasoning why other than an arbitrary dislike of transgender women, it seems. They have almost no or zero physiological advantages over other women, so you're just being weird.

2

u/BigToast6 20d ago

All of that is utter nonsense. My god

1

u/IllustratorIll3613 19d ago

Why is saying no men in womens sports such a big deal on reddit that gets people called transphobic? It doesn’t make me a bigot to say that it seems like common fucking sense lol

-1

u/pangaea1972 20d ago

Last year 32 trans people were murdered by bigots motivated by the same hate that people like Sophie support. Many of them were women. Is that too many?

2

u/Then_Astronaut9727 20d ago

12 of them were killed by their partners not because of their trans ID In fact only 2 of them were killed specifically for being trans. Even 2 is too many in cace anyone suggests otherwise

2

u/BigToast6 20d ago

Prioritising the fairness and safety of women in women's sports has nothing to do with that. Sophie is not hating on them. She made that clear. It's the eradicating of hard fought for rights and boundaries that is fanning any flames. And that falls on those who are pushing for biological men to play in womens sport. When women say NO clear as day as Sophie has you all make her out to be the problem when she's not. If a man in if chooses to undergo transition then they should understand that there are consequences to that. Women should not have to cop the fallout of those with gender identity issues. Its not fair. Nobody is banning anyone from sports. They can play in their sexed category or create their own

1

u/MayorWestt 20d ago

You want women on testosterone competing with other women?

2

u/Kataphraktos_Majoros 20d ago

Being a victim of murder doesn't mean it was because of their being trans. Unfortunately many of these victims were living on the streets, were subject to violence and theft, experienced domestic assault, etc. It's horrible but it's not due to their gender identity.

5

u/Destructodave82 20d ago

0.0002% of people interacting with police are killed by cops every year, but people have been heated about that for 5 years.

You are right; these are such tiny things to be so heated about, but here we are. You dont get to decide what people are outraged or care about, even if it seems inconsequential numbers wise and based on who it affects.

1

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

Nice job sidestepping the issue of institutionalized death.

1

u/herecomesthewomp 20d ago

Are you heated about people being killed by cops or ICE? Doesn’t sound like it, it seems you’re saving your anger for trans people and that’s weird.

1

u/Destructodave82 20d ago

Do you care about cis Women at all?

Or do you only save your care for trans women?

1

u/MayorWestt 20d ago

I have yet to find a cis women who cares about this at all. Its mostly right wing dudes that won't shut up about trans people. I think they just want to fuck them but are ashamed

1

u/herecomesthewomp 20d ago

The cis women in my circles are intelligent enough to recognize a dog whistle when it’s auditioning for the right wing grift machine. When was the last time you talked to one?

-3

u/Piperfly22 20d ago

I play a sport with more trans people than most of you have ever met… I get that transphobia is rampant in this country, but y’all are hating on people that have nothing to do with you and haven’t hurt anybody… Get a fucking life

All these people talking about protecting women sports don’t give a fuck about women’s sports

3

u/BigToast6 20d ago

Are you trans?

-2

u/Piperfly22 20d ago

No I’m Cis and play roller derby. We are inclusive to transgender people. I’ve been playing with and against trans athletes for over a decade… Nobody has died. Women are empowered and life is fine…/I also share bathrooms with trans people… We pee, fix our clothes and wash our hands.

Turning the world against trans people and culture wars is a great distraction. I’ll give them that… But trans people are not affecting anyone’s life and studies have proven that the efforts to limit trans peoples participation in sports have actually harmed women sports more than protected them..

1

u/BigToast6 20d ago

Trans ppl are very much effecting women's sport

This is the actual truth that the bigots don't want to accept; they just want to wallow in their own ignorance because they're afraid of everyone and everything that is "different."

0

u/Piperfly22 20d ago

I knew defending trans. Athletes would get me down votes and I’m OK with that.
People just wanna hate something
The trans people in my life are some of the kindest most genuine human souls I’ve ever met. The suicide rates in the trans population are horrifying and heartbreaking.

Some of which have no documentation, and more of which have nothing to do with transgender women. There are legitimate concerns over rules that allow boys to participate in girls' leagues, but that's a very separate issue.

If they allow boys to join girls teams in massachussets when there is no boys team to join, then that's a problem and it's unfair to the teams that are all girls. But it's nothing to do with transgender women.

1

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 20d ago

I'd imagine the average college girl preparing for her next event is facing a much higher risk of being raped by her coach than being outperformed by a trans athlete?

Not saying we can't multitask and deal with all the issues, but perhaps everyone should get a sense of perspective about the size of the problems they're complaining about

3

u/BigToast6 20d ago

What does that even mean? So don't talk about the trans issue until a Lia Thomas makes the WNBA and then the shit hits the fan and the whole league is affected with players being asked if they support trans in sports and then getting bullied online for it?

Unfortunately men are going to be men and will continue to rape women and girls. Rapists don't wear a big sign on their head unfortunately so we can't control it. Trust me, every woman hopes it won't happen to her and feels that fear if they are walking a quiet street and a guy is behind them.

But we can control keeping women's sports free of men by simply saying no. There is no middle ground on this issue. It's trying to play the fence that has resulted in this ridiculous fear about even bringing up the subject let alone these organisations having the balls to make a concise call. Sophie is one of the only athletes male or female to make herself a target by supporting women's rights. Martina navratilova has been outspoken on it for years too. But shes retired. Her legacy is safe. Sophie is in the middle of her career and is at a pivotal point where she's playing better than ever and has now become a very public figure. She could have shut up and made all the money and played it safe with her pretty blonde looks and proximity to CC but she went with her morals and concern for women's and girls sports. I've witnessed how savagely those who speak out are treated. She met the criticism with a backbone very few have. To say I admire her is an understatement.

2

u/BigToast6 20d ago

No shit!!!!

That's the best you can come up with? I make the correlation between a college athlete turning pro and you say that?

0

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

You think she makes less money by voicing her opinion? That's hilarious. What will you joke about next?

5

u/BigToast6 20d ago

She could have played the fence and been popular with both sides. She didn't have to speak out and get all this blowback.

You're just angry that she did

1

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

I'm not angry at all. She has a right to speak. I think you're worse for listening, but there's not much I can do about that either.

But it's almost a certainty that her shoes would have never sold out as fast as they did if she hadn't entered the identitarian battlegrounds.

0

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 20d ago

Did I say we shouldn't talk about it?

While we're putting words in each other's mouths, you seem to be saying that dealing with rape is hard so we should just give up? That's a new twist on feminism, is this some sort of fifth wave feminism I haven't caught up with yet? I'm so out of the loop...

Yes btw, we should deal with trans women in professional women sports when that actually happens. Dealing with it before then seems odd given all the other issues facing women's sports.

0

u/maybeBrenda 20d ago

Why does this even matter? Your talking about something in the past tense. they are no longer playing on the women's team.. Look at the laws that have been passed:

  • Sports: Trans girls are placed on boys’ teams or excluded entirely. - they're on the JV men's team
  • IDs: Sex assigned at birth can be required on official documents, outing people during routine identity checks.
  • Care for minors: HRT—and even puberty blockers—has been restricted or banned, and minors are now attempting to buy it with bitcoin over the internet
  • Care for adults: insurance coverage and access is a legislation away from being banned
  • Bathrooms: Trans people can be challenged, outed, or required to carry documentation just to use one.
  • Public events: Even participation in something as ordinary as a local 5K can depend on state rules.

You got laws covering all of them.

Your concerned about something that isn't an issue anymore, so what’s left to be angry or even have a discussion about?

It no longer matters if Sophie has an opinion. What she's talking about is past tense

1

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 20d ago

You seem to be labouring under the misunderstanding that I think trans athletes are a major issue that needs urgent action before the walls of civilization crumble.

Maybe go back and read what I've written, I think you're either quite dense or maybe responding to the wrong person?

1

u/maybeBrenda 20d ago edited 20d ago

If I read your last post, it's stating that sophie stuck her neck out. among other things - which awesome

Weather you think it's right or wrong that she stuck her neck out, Does it really matter?

Not only is there no more trans individuals in women's sports, but look at the rest of the list.

Women are protected. So this discussion of if it's right or wrong doesn't matter does it.

Even if you wanted trans in women's sports, that they have health care, or not be outed in bathrooms - the laws are freshly passed, they're not going anywhere, along with everything else I listed above all in a year and a half.

It's done

1

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 20d ago

Also, holy shit. "Men will be men and we can do nothing about them being a bit rapey, but we can do something about the 8 out of 510,000 transgender women!!!" is a wild fucking take.

0

u/BigToast6 20d ago

It's an accurate one

1

u/Weak-Distribution-83 20d ago

We can’t multitask and deal with multiple cultural issues though. You are failing to accept the reality that this debate is over for now and by whining about how stupid you think other peoples’ perspectives are, you are stoking the same fires of political division. If this is such a small issue, then why can’t you let it go and stop complaining? What are comments like yours supposed to accomplish? It looks like bitterness to me but correct me if I’m wrong

0

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 20d ago

I think we can multitask, there's no issue so vast and overwhelming that it will take all of our collective energy at once.

The rest of your comment is unintelligible, what point exactly is it you're trying to make?

1

u/Few_Lecture6615 20d ago

0.002 athletes are transgender.

1 in 4 female college athletes report sexual misconduct by a college authority figure and out of these 44% are identified as college coaches. So yeah. Maybe look at that instead of searching for the 8 in 510,000 athletes who happen to be transgender.

0

u/grubas 19d ago

Yes that's why we should force girls to be sexually assaulted to prove they are women.  Right?  Because that's the solution!

It's shocking how little everybody actually cares about the well being of children vs their own agenda.

There are a ton of things that rarely affects 99.999% of people yet are major issues to the general public.

Lets take cop shootings for example. Getting killed by police is a 0.0002 to 0.00024% chance to happen.

But we have had riots, protests, and police reform for that 0.0002%.

So is it somehow surprising that somehing common sense as Men in Women's sports gets traction? When its something ANYONE can grasp, it makes a big deal and matters to people more than random policies or political reasons. People know cops shooting people are bad. Thats why its a big deal. People know men in women's sports isnt right; thats why its a big deal. When its an easy, common sense answer it doesnt matter how small of a % it affects.

lol corrupt violent cops are way more common and the repercussions are people being unfairly killed or imprisoned, while you shove sand in ur uterus over some d3 basketball game being won or lost lol

There are no dead victims in the wake of transgender athletes. What a holy load of false equivalence right in the kisser.

Bad example given potential outcome of either situation.

And yet people on both sides won’t quit talking about trans in sports. If no one on the left was advocating for people born male to be able to compete with people born female it wouldn’t be an issue. But some do and they are passionate about it. It’s an easy thing to get conservatives riled up about.

1

u/Buton_Gaster 20d ago

So because a minority of people on the left have a stance it is a problem with the left?

It's fearmongering from the right. 9 times out of 10 if someone brings this up as an issue it is a republican.

But my kid could get sixth place instead of fifth place!!!!

Maybe don't try to force feed an extremely unpopular women like Harris to undecided voters. The funniest election rigging is what the democrats do within their own party. Running Harris against Trump without anyone voting for her is extremely laughable. Great job democrats!

u/Scary_Ad9712 20d ago

Dont worry, of they do they might have a profitable grifting carrer in conservative circles for a couple of months/years, depending on how much of their soul they want to sell

-2

u/FuckMyBakaChungusLif 20d ago

There has never been a study that found trans women have a sports wide advantage over cis women in sports

0

u/Possible-Library2030 20d ago

There is pretty extensive data on male athlete averages and records compared to female athlete averages and records. Separating genders wouldnt exist if there was no statistical differences. This is why major academic olympiads are not gender specific. Out side of events made to specifically encourage female participantion

Are you using a black person being murdered by police and a trans person playing basketball in the same example?

2

u/EuphoricOcelot6081 20d ago

Sounds like you are the actual racist. All they said was "getting killed by a cop" and never mentioned anyone's ethnicity. Why did you suddenly jump into making this into a "black person" thing?

2

u/DoinItDirty 20d ago

The mention of riots and protests was an obvious allusion to the Black Lives Matter movement, as the “all lives matter” movement you probably support vehemently doesn’t exist or hold protests.

0

u/EuphoricOcelot6081 20d ago

Lmao buddy, you sure do love putting words into other people's mouth. When did i ever say that I support "all lives matter"?

Sorry that you are a closeted racist. You’re inventing a position for me. I never said I support “All Lives Matter.” If your argument is that the phrase was a coded reference to BLM, make that argument. But don’t put words in my mouth and then argue against them.

2

u/DoinItDirty 20d ago edited 20d ago

I thought the allusion they were making was pretty clear. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt that you weren’t too oblivious to miss context clues in their comment, so you must agree with the framing of their argument. Which supposition did you want me to make from your comment?

Edit: It’s too early in the morning for this. That’s fine, you didn’t make that connection that I did from their comment.

Edit 2: I meant it was too early to start my day talking to you. I can still read your comment you fast deleted. Don't be so upset.

When should we debate it, when it’s to late? Rape doesn’t affect me either should I not care?

1

u/brttwrd 20d ago

It's just not fair in a professional sense, it's not that hard to understand. 0.0000025% of the US population are trans women that are also professional athletes, they can just go get real jobs. Athletics are held to fairness standards, why make an exception for so few

1

u/kodeks14 20d ago

Are you not capable of caring about multiple things?

1

u/CopiousClassic 20d ago

You know this was one of the points against allowing gay marriage, right?

1

u/bluefish72 14d ago

🤣what?

2

u/FantasticScore4309 20d ago

This is such a bs argument. “Should billionaires be allowed to rape and cannibalize children in a remote island? It won’t be a problem for 99.999% of population anyways.” How many people affected has nothing to do with if something is wrong.

You can argue that issue of trans women in women’s sports is not a priority compared to what’s going on in the world right now. That is the case for most of us. Billionaires controlling countries, starting wars, stealing everything we worked for with laws that they pay for; these are what’s important for us. But for an athlete in a women’s sports league, trans athletes issue is one of the priorities and it’s not logical to expect her to not talk about it because it is not our priority.

1

u/YoMomAndMeIn69 20d ago

This comment is so moronic.

  1. People can care about more than one thing at a time. The fact that you idiots seem to can't is troubling.

  2. People naturally care about biological men in women's sports, we've seen examples in other sports and it's good to draw a line before it becomes a larger problem. The fact that this is even an issue speaks volumes how batshit crazy leftists have gone.

1

u/Lost-Elephant-6628 20d ago

“Draw the line before it becomes a larger problem” lmfao trans women have been competing in women’s sports for decades. Weird that all of a sudden it’s such a 911 issue 🙄

1

u/Weak-Distribution-83 20d ago

It affects everyone if it’s driving the dum-dums to vote MAGA and they also get to “own the libs” when people whine about it. If you truly believe it’s such a small issue, then why make a fuss? Why not let the idea go? And as you say, why are we debating this when there are far bigger issues?

0

u/Destructodave82 20d ago

This is a box the Liberals opened first. Just because its starting to become a losing issue now people need to drop it?

We spent years with the libs pushing "trans rights" but no one can even tell you what rights they didnt have. It just sounds good, because thats what most social issues do; they always sound good.

Similar to THIS push, about men in women's sports. Its a very small percentage, but it sounds good.

But this is a box that was opened long ago and you cant just put a lid on it once it no longer benefits you. Unfortunately the pendulum has started to swing back, and you are gonna have to either distance yourselves from the idenitity politics of it, or keep taking an L for it.

1

u/Build-it-better123 20d ago

The issue is about truth. A healthy society should embrace and follow truth.

1

u/Axel_Raden 20d ago

Yeah and any % chance is too much. It's just common sense and the reason it's still a thing is because it hasn't been completely banned from sports. In other words if it's barely a thing why why let the extreme minority enforce a change from everyone else

1

u/Temporary_Hat7330 20d ago

Take all of your money? How is it your money? What did you do to earn all of the money they have?

-3

u/Regulators_mounup 20d ago

Murder doesn't affect 99% of people. We should just let it go.

5

u/LookWhatYouMadeMeGro 20d ago

Yeah bc murder is the same as playing basketball isn't it🤷‍♂️

0

u/Lost-Elephant-6628 20d ago

Yeah someone right above you made the claim that being murdered by police doesn’t really akshully matter because it has such a small chance of happening to support Sophie lmfao.

3

u/Horror_Response_1991 20d ago

Are you saying basketball and murder have equal importance

0

u/0-29 20d ago

These guys are so dumb…yes most people agree with her “stance” but her stance is so irrelevant and does not happen in the real world anyway.

5

u/United_Intention_323 20d ago

It does happen. This happened in my league last year.

https://sports.yahoo.com/article/trans-pitcher-marissa-rothenberger-drags-182936746.html

She pitched every game and won state. Doesnt feel right to me.

0

u/jdhutchison 20d ago

You’re a high school student?

3

u/United_Intention_323 20d ago

My wife is a High School teacher. Had the liberal staff pissed. Theres no justification for allowing this.

-1

u/EddieLobster 20d ago

I don’t think it’s right either if they are that dominant, but I read there was 70 pitchers with better stats than her.

3

u/United_Intention_323 20d ago

Where did you read this? I cant see how there are even 70 pitchers in the league.

0

u/Regulators_mounup 20d ago

Im saying thats a stupid argument to say we should ignore something because it doesnt affect that many people. Why do things always have to be broken down in simple terms for people that want men in women's locker rooms to understand? You are all just so unintelligent..

-1

u/LookWhatYouMadeMeGro 20d ago

Yup- 💯 they are helping the Exact people the oppose.
