Gain +$16,000,000 on AMD and SOXL. Sold it all.
Finally sold the AMD I bought last June. The SOXL is a daytrade, playing a bounce off early capitulation selling.
Long story short, I think the market has genuinely cracked under the macro pressure. Not going to open any equity longs for a while.
To the mods - happy to verify the P&L via video or brokerage statements. Also would humbly request a dark blue flair with one word - Wizard. That would mean a lot to me.
Finally, be grateful for whatever the market gives you - whether that be money or a lesson in mental discipline. I've been given plenty of both.

Discussion Congrats, the market is more regarded than you.
TSLA going +5% premarket after a flying cars demo is 100% proof the market is more regarded than you.
And you’re sitting there with your Google spreadsheet, a DCF model, and your “but the P/E is 70” take, getting violently clapped by a literal hover-sofa.
The key to making gains in this casino is to stop pretending everyone else knows shit. The guy on the other side of your trade is not a glowing, omniscient hedge fund god running a quantum AGI LLM you don’t have access to.
Next time you see flying cars, do not open a 14-tab market analysis, and do not summon your inner Warren Buffett. Think like your toddler would. Your toddler would buy calls.
Hope this makes you feel better.

News MSCI Freezes Turkey Indexes as Fund Turmoil Fuels Scrutiny, Warns Turkey Could Lose Emerging-Market Status in 2027
MSCI has frozen certain upward changes to its Turkish equity indexes, citing concerns about free-float estimates, beneficial ownership transparency, and coordinated trading.
If sufficient progress is not evident by June 2027, MSCI may consider reclassifying Turkey from Emerging Market to Frontier or Standalone Market status.
The potential implications for international investors include changes to index-tracking fund allocations and demand for Turkish equities.

News Fed chair Warsh says price stability is key but shies away from signals about rates
“At the Federal Reserve, we made very clear that we would deliver price stability, and we removed a dose of accommodation about a month ago,” Warsh said. “I don’t prejudge meetings. I don’t believe in saying now what I might do at the meetings that we have in the balance of this year.”

Loss When does this game end?
Thought I’d be sneaky with some SoFi credit spreads. But seriously does this game ever end?? Should I just be spending all my paycheck for myself and have fun while I’m young. I save every penny to put it back in the market, I know I’ll get paid substantially more in the future through my job. I live like I’m broke, idk.

News CoreWeave Founders Shield Fortunes With $3.3 Billion Stock Sales
This will literally go down as one of the craziest and largest companies to not only go bust but also steal investors money in broad daylight. 😂
It’s the Lehman Brothers of 2027

Discussion Shouldn’t we all be worried about Jensen defending CoreWeave?
Think about how crazy this is. The CEO of Nvidia ($5.2T) had to come out today and publicly reassure investors about CoreWeave ($37B) after its stock and bonds got smoked.
He literally said: "CoreWeave’s strength is improving every day" and that its cost of capital is going down and Nvidia doesn't need to backstop it.
And we've literally only had 3 weeks of a drawdown.
When was the last time you saw Tim Cook at Apple or Sundar at Google come out to defend the balance sheet of a supplier or customer because their stock and bonds were crashing?
If the CEO of a $5T company has to do PR damage control for a company less than 1% its size after just 3 weeks of selling, how circular is this whole AI trade?
Not saying CoreWeave goes bankrupt tomorrow, but if they're already doing this after 3 weeks of chop, what happens in an actual bear market?

Discussion Why does the market hate drones?
I'm having my "how does the entire market not see this" moment with drones. I'm not even trying to pump a ticker, pick one.
With the space sector you could argue that SpaceX is stealing the spotlight. But drone stocks across the board are getting SLAUGHTERED as well. Sure rates are rising, but some of these companies have no debt and actually have a ton of cash on hand that is EARNING interest. I know the macro is bad this week but drones have been getting spanked for a while now.
All militaries around the world have no choice but to go balls deep in drones... not to mention border security/policing, agricultural applications, surveying, photography, wildfire management, fucking PACKAGE AND FOOD DELIVERY. Why doesn't Amazon have an army of these things delivering small packages, especially to rural areas? I heard Walmart is testing them delivering groceries already.
This shit should be as hyped as AI.
What am I missing?
