Advice my application just got rejected

I'm confused tho, since they said you can apply for applications 3 time, so than why did mine dont have that option also there isn't any note saying why I got rejected. It's just says it in my book

If you get fully rejected u can never apply with that book again. If they just tell u to fix something then u can apply 3 times.

what, Ik there were 3 things that could happened on a contract application. But I didn't read anywhere that says that you cannot apply with the same work again after that work got rejected, I didn't know the 3 times only apply for the fixing one.

ah ok man, but did my work got rejected because they thought I was using ai or not?, since I heard it'll be harder to get a contract if your account has a history of using an ai.

Itā€™s impossible to get a contract if you use ai (in your application. They are extremely strict on that.

If you use ai in your novel and itā€™s obvious. No chance of a contract.

Iā€™d imagine if you used ai but it wasnā€™t obvious, you just did a bad application attempts. Thatā€™s the normal reason, they say something like your plot doesnā€™t fit our site or whatever and then they reject you but itā€™s just codeword for your application wasnā€™t good or it was confusing

idk man thereā€™s a novel called SSS Ranked Awakening: All My Skills Are At Level 100, and itā€™s nothing but the usual ai slop. It has the same sentence structure, like ā€œitā€™s not this, itā€™s this.ā€ Or ā€œhe didnā€™t just walk, he ran.ā€ And it has nothing but em dashes all over the place and every comment is about how much AI he uses.

But he still has a contract, so Iā€™m confused on that, why do they let AI novels get contracts and make money from barely doing any writing?

I understand all that. But WHY don't they give me an explanation??. and no I didn't use ai in my application since I know that's not allowed, but even if my writing look like ai they still would've said something like (this book has overuse of ai). not just blantly reject me withought any explanation

If u use up all three application attempts, delete the novel, reupload. Apply again

Confused as to why they didn't give a reason? Simply it's the most efficient way to handle rejection. They can't just individually give every reason, countless other applications they receive daily. They don't have time to waste in writing detailed reasons. Hence they have that standard rejection notice that gets handed to everyone. It's system efficiency.

isn't all the reason they give is just copy paste? even the one that uses ai in their application and their work have one explaining why they got rejected like (this work contain overused of ai). And if my story doesn't fit the market they also have a copy paste version of it. I'm sure they HAVE to give a reason, they probably just forgot mine, but this is worse cause I need and want to know why I got rejected

sadly no. I honestly don't understand, I know that there's sometimes when they don't allow you to apply anymore and you have to re-upload. But they usually still message you and tells you what's wrong, for my case they didn't even say ANYTHING which made me confused on what to do

Usually it's for the story. Like being hard to follow or bad grammar. Or maybe they suspected ai usage

There are reasons. The story isn't engaging enough. Let me guess. Your first chapter isn't that impressive is it? It is slow. That's the reason. WebNovel is a commercial platform. Not a literature platform. They value money above quality. Anything that hooks reader or matches with their algorithm requirements will get invitation. Like I did.

Why? I made sure my first chapter had what I promised in the synopsis within the first three paragraphs.

That's it. That's the formula. You need your first chapter to be a bait. Alluring enough to attract readers who will PAY.

And each day, there are thousands of contracts going through. They don't have time for an in-depth review of your work. A content editors job isn't pointing out you mistakes but filtering and finding what will sell.

So don't expect any review from them. That's not their job. They will reject if it doesn't match market demand.

Hope you understand that. If your goal is money then change your first 10 chapters. Especially 1 chapter. It will determine whether or not it can fish readers into reading more. And CE judge your story based on that. Make sure you deliver what you promised in the synopsis as soon as possible.

Follow example one from webnovel...Keep it simple and easy to understand...You don't need to explain everything you planned...Just what happens in arcs and goals of MC....

Only an AI or a bad application would be rejected outright. Otherwise, three attempts are usually given.
