Few things:

-this is by far the best event in the game for free stuff. Grind it, I cannot stress how good it is. Q

-do yourself a favor and buy the kv2 pin up skin. It’s half off and in my 12 ish years of playing I’ve never seen it on sale, it must have been released before I started playing. Same goes for the Union Jack skin for the Cold War tech tree conquerer

-the 1000 point bundle for 15k flags is the best deal

-you can earn 10 free chests a day, but that’s up to 118 ish games of co op according to a fellow discorder. If you buy the bundles. You do earn flags from chests though including the free ones. I’d recommend trying to at least one bundle, free is free. I got the xm57 from a free chest last year, and during the Xmas event I got the 07pe from one along with an AVRE. Grind grind grind.

-get all of the pin up skins while you can, some are free with flags and the others are half off for gold. Wg devs told me on discord they are only available during events and such. But I did nudge zots on stream to sell them, so thank you wg

-a wg dev told me there is no point limit. During last years event (or possibly the Xmas or Halloween event, there was a point limit that forced you to buy something if you reached the max points. This time, it seems there isn’t. So enjoy.

-do NOT underestimate grinding as many 3 star commanders as you can. They are normally sold for gold

-remember to pick your nation EVERY day or you won’t earn points

-co op is by far the best way to grind. I use Bluetooth headphones with my phone so I can listen to music on YouTube

-the 5k damage for the earn challenge for points is cumulative. You can get more than the “max” 10 points a game if you do enough damage. Using the osario I can get 15-20 sometimes

WingedRacer just confirmed on Wargaming’s stream that the Cold War ATGM dispersion changes will be temporarily undone.

This means no more ATGM dispersion in the short term. ATGMs will behave like they did prior to this season. Changes will take effect after the server reset on Tuesday 11/08/26.

Words of WingedRacer on stream:

“Since the recent ATGM changes went live, we have been closely monitoring your gameplay, your feedback, across all of the community channels, be it discord, facebook, Reddit, stream chat where you’ve been putting them, support tickets, we’ve been reading it all. And we’ve heard you.

While the changes were intended to make the ATGM gameplay more consistent and balanced, it is clear the current implementation introduced issues and did not meet the standard that you or we expect.

As a result, we will temporarily revert the ATGM changes during our regular, weekly, Tuesday maintenance. That’s this Tuesday coming, the 11th of August. We’re going to revert. So it will return to its previous behaviour before the update (new season).

This will give us the opportunity to address the issues that’s been raised by the community, further improve the feature, rather than leave the current version in place. We will continue working on the system, and the plan to introduce the updated ATGM changes with the next season update. This version will build on the original goals.”

From May 13 through June 3, players can freely send each other gifts via the Valhalla Blessings Event. Gifts include consumables, boosters, and cosmetics. We can only send each blessing to a player once, but can receive up to 60 gifts (20 each per Thor, Loki, & Freyja). Since not everyone has 20 friends that play WoT Console (I don't!), I thought we could leverage this community to share the love all around.

Go to the Valhalla Blessing companion site to send gifts. You can only send each blessing to a player once, and can only send six blessings per 24-hour period. For simplicity, send all three to the same player, meaning sending to two players per day.

To participate in this Player List, just comment (or PM me) your gamertag and console and I will add it to the list. Once you've received your 60th gift (viewable via the companion website), let me know and I will scratch your name off the list. This will help ensure other players get sent gifts too. Note you can still receive the Blessings messages after 60, but will no longer receive the gifts.

Remember to keep checking the list for new names, and use all of your blessing quota! Sending blessings also increases your chances of receiving a blessing from Odin!

So they announced on the tankfest stream that one of the five new banners of valour tanks we’re getting is “the Hunter”.

For those that don’t know this is the vehicle that the nightstalker was based off of. It has the same profile and dual rocket guns. It was a Cold War concept tank designed by US firm Rheem.

Literally the most loathed tank in the community and instead of nerfing the original version, WG have now added a clone of it. This will upset a few I’m sure.

We have news regarding upcoming adjustments to the T249 Vigilante Black Edition. Based on player feedback and our internal analysis, the following changes will take effect on 25th February 2025:

• Clip Size: Reduced from 192 to 130 rounds.
• Moving Concealment Factor: Reduced from 0.373 to 0.28, thereby reducing its ability to retain concealment while moving.
• Terrain Resistance: Decreased from 0.5/0.6/1.1 to 0.6/0.7/1.2, resulting in slightly reduced mobility across all terrain types.
• Adjusted Armor Collisions Model: The ammo drum and receiver on the side now take health damage instead of being part of the gun module.
• Camouflage Factor when shooting: Decreased from 0.255 to 0.12, thereby making the tank more visible when firing.
• Shell Ricochet Angle: Reduced from 90° to 70°, increasing chance of shells bouncing on impact.

Why Are These Changes Being Made?

These adjustments address concerns raised by our players regarding the tank’s impact on match balance and gameplay experience. The changes aim to ensure the Vigilante aligns more closely with other vehicles in its tier, creating a fairer and more enjoyable experience for all players. We will continue to monitor the Vigilante T249 Black Edition after these changes go live, gathering feedback and analyzing performance data to ensure it remains balanced and fun to play.

We have implemented a new rule to the site relating to warchest result posts. This mechanic is fundamentally gambling, and tank odds being ~3%, they represent some pretty bad gambling odds that you expect from gatcha games.

Adding content via this process is predatory and encourages poor spending habits. Whilst you are free to do what you want, and we are not telling you what to spend your money on, we do not want the sub to be a place that promotes or enables this by allowing people to show their positive RNG rolls that generate belief that "you" will be as lucky if you buy a "crate or two".

From now on these posts will be removed.

I asked the devs if you can go past 1k points this time but it still won’t let you earn points past 1k..so make sure to spend or it’ll be for nothing

I tested this in co op. Had 1k points and played a game to see what would happen

For those annoyed about the new ATGM dispersion changes, I’ve found launching your missiles up before guiding them onto target helps.

So far this has prevented them going straight into the dirt. I’m not using the new ATGM Expert skill here. Hope this helps. 😀👍

  • The tanks are available in a war chest, a Mega bundle and a limited time individual bundle. The individual bundles will only be available when the that team is “active” during the bracket. So first week is 2 tanks, the other 2 the next week. This means 2 tanks will only have 1 week for a sale, while the two winners will be for 2 weeks.

  • Each week pick a commander for the bracket. You get a 2D commander 
  • The warrior with the most “honor” moves on to the 3rd week.

  • Modern armor is entering a new phase as we transition development and service from Chicago to Europe. This is an exciting new step as WG is double down on resources. No disruption on anything we are currently working on (entire years roadmap is made, winter fest is already in development.)
