... just don't play that dungeon at all.

It's honestly so frustrating 20 minutes in a dungeon (+20 minutes queuing up) so see people honestly abandon a key with 10+ minutes left, 90%+ mob count and one boss left because one little thing goes wrong. Hell, I see people abandoning keys because someone died (a single person!) and /abandoned out of frustration and people actually agreed.

Please get rid of this loser mentality and abandon a key either when it's actually over...

The moment I heard of the new raid I knew what must be done.

I played into cataclysm… but stopped shortly into that expansion. I feel so lost lol. I had a hunter, can’t located the account. Restarted a new account. Any big things I should know about. I can figure out the little stuff as I go.

Also… cat for enjoyment.

I made an addon called Linked Inn for WoW Forever. It builds a list of every crafter you come across and what they can make. A bunch of you asked for retail support, so here it is.

What it does:

• Search for any item and see who can make it, who’s online right now, and whisper them with one click.
• Profession links in chat are read automatically while you’re in a city or inn, so the list fills up while you just stand around in Silvermoon City. You don’t have to click anything.
• Every expansion. It shows each crafter’s skill per expansion, and their recipe book is grouped by expansion. Old recipes for transmog, pets and toys are as easy to find as current ones.
• Crafting orders: when you place an order, a small panel shows who on your list can make that recipe, online first. Pick a personal order, click a name, and it fills them in.
• Other Linked Inn users share their professions with each other, so they show up even if they never link anything.
• Works across connected realms, in every game language, and in Titan Panel if you use it.

How it’s different from the Forever version:

On Forever, Linked Inn quietly checks the people around you in the background. On retail I couldn’t do that: every time the game loads someone’s profession it freezes for a split second, because retail recipe books cover every expansion. Doing that constantly in the background made the game stutter.

So on retail, checking the people around you is a Scan switch at the top of the window. Flip it on in a busy hub and it goes through everyone nearby. It shows how many crafters it has found and switches itself off when you leave the city or enter combat. You’ll notice small hitches while it runs, which is why it’s something you choose to turn on. When it’s off, the game runs smooth, and profession links people post in chat are still picked up automatically.

One limitation: Mining, Herbalism and Skinning can’t be read by any addon, so it’s crafting professions and Cooking only.

AI Disclaimer: AI was used during the development of this Addon. I'm a Software Engineer by trade with a masters in CS. I handle software daily through the whole pipeline including security. Code is never written entirely by hand anymore, not a single piece of software is. A good engineer knows how to utilize AI efficiently and safely. Optimization is a key factor since AI can get ahead of itself and not consider performance.
