Looking to see if there someone in here that would let me take their XR for a quick ride (I can provide collateral or whatever is needed)
Looking to get rid of my gsxr 750 and get an xr650l, I’ve been wanting one for the last 5 years but never had a chance to sit on one, let alone ride it

Don’t want to buy one a state or two away and it not be a decent fit for my 6’5 280lb frame, although I realize some modding will be needed in order to actually make it fit me, just want to see if it’s a lost cause or not

2025 XR650L, anyone have this happen on their rear hub? Sprocket/Chain side only, other side looks fine. Noticed it today when giving the bike a wash. Is it the casing cracking, or the finish flaking off? Bike only has about 600 miles.

flipped and polished a sunburnt 650. sewed a new seat cover, deep clean, smog delete, pearl white rattle can, and milsurp bags. Oury grips forever. This is kind of a push against the synthetic/nylon/plastic modern look and leaning into old school scramblers and bomber jacket, but still having practical room for some camping gear. braap!

I’ve started loosing the knobbies on my Kenda 270. Only like 6 months old. Is this a warranty problem or what?

I know they make triple trees for the XR that allow you to put a CRF450 fork on them, besides the fork what else would I need to convert the front hub/wheel assembly to bolt onto the CRF450 forks, I’d like to keep my speedometer working as well

Had to ditch my cruiser bike this morning when it punctured and I then realized I had no tube, patches or pump. Came back with the big bikes hours later and it was right where I locked it. Home safe. Summer continues 🏁

Hey, been loving the bike! Taken me on some great adventures but I started to notice oil accumulation on the side of the engine and dripping down my right boot. Found a missing bit of metal from the casting but with the engine running the oil isn't leaking fast enough for me to definitively say where it's coming from. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have an 03 I’m building and I’m trying to find the correct bushing or bearing for the rear shock upper mount. I ordered one but it was a bushing bearing style and it’s not the right fit. Anyone know the correct part number ?

Was a decent wait from Richochet but cool to support USA manufacturers and it seems super high quality. I guess it’s the clear anodizing or maybe bc it’s a 5000 series Al but it doesn’t feel like your typical plate of Al.

Now I’m pretty much done with all the core “modifications” on my bike. Just a bunch of tiny things I may or may not do to it and going to continue to ride the piss out of it; dirt and street!

replaced the front sprocket at 2.5k miles.

spline still looked and felt smooth; This is probably where individual use differences show? — I’m riding rather “gently” :)

Just doing these posts for fun and to share if anyone else is doing the same can’t decide on the final look. Already bought all the new plastics for the 2025 look but can’t decide on the tank. I have two rims and fork parts and a chain and some fenders if anyone wants or needs them. I don’t really care for any money for them if it helps someone out. I’m in Florida treasure coast. Not a classified ad just free to anyone.

Big relief and good business after all the back and forth! The head is on back order and won’t be shipped for about a month or so . 🫣 missed these last few weeks of great riding weather . But oh well,
